[Puffee]

Sand Surfers are small, furry creatures that stand about a twenty inches tall, fifteen inches long, and weigh an average of seven pounds for both genders. These animals are native to the deserts of Egypt, India, and Africa. The Sand Sufer's coat is thin and soft, making for easy travel across the sand. You may have noticed the large tail at the ends of their bodies. Sand Surfer's use their muscled tail to "surf" across sand in the desert. These creatures live mainly underground in complex tunnels that are about five feet below the surface to keep cool. Sand Surfers are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and plant material. A common food of the species are small rodents, small birds, small reptiles, berries, grasses, and nuts. They also eat eggs of other animals when they can get their hands on them.

Sol is a girl. Its not like she can just magically change genders all of the sudden. Sol is very nimble and swift on her paws, though. But her parents had been wanting a girl so when she was born they were absolutely over joyed. She is defiantly not her parents princess though.

Sol can be and is very protective of her loved ones. She has her dark moments and her good moments, this is one of them, if I was to ever say anything about her that you should be warned about, it would be her protectiveness. When she was a baby she had this plush bat thing, and her friends and her were playing hide'n go seek and they miss placed the bear and Sol absolutely flipped out. She spent the entire night out on her own, searching for her plush bat. When she couldn't find it she was severely heartbroken and denied that it was lost forever. Since then she doesn't let things like that slide. She will keep searching till her feet would bleed. She would never give up on a friend.

Pronunciation: Sawl
Origin: Spanish and Hebrew and Danish
Meaning: Means sun in Spanish, but in Hebrew it means peace, and in Danish it means sun.

Sol was born on a cool, brisk morning, in late fall. For the sun had just receded to its hibernation and everyone was being watched by the moon and the dull grey skies, and the falling leaves. But that one morning was such a glorious morning, as Sol opened her eyes the sun came out, and a single golden leaf fell onto her head. Everyone was overjoyed that the sun was back for more and a new pup was born. And since she was born on the day the sun returned, the parents decided to give her a name that would shine as brightly as the sun, 'Sol'. Sold defiantly didn't live up to her name though. She soon became a dark person.

I thought I'd do something a little bit special for #30, and Halloween's coming up soon so why not, right?

As you can see, this one's got quite a fe line edits and accessories, and is slightly rarer than uncommon. It is uncommon because of the grey base, and slightly rarer than that because the eyes are not blue.
You may not be able to tell, but the necklace pendant is actually of a jack o lantern face type thing. I also threw in a bat marking, some spiderweb markings, and a bit of stitching markings. I tried to make the face look kinda creepy too.
The claws are the same colour as the eye whites, and the pendant colours are the same as the eye and pupil colours.

I'd like to see an explanation on the name.
For the gender, I would prefer if you chose male, but whatever, it's up to you.
Personality wise, I would prefer if he/she wasn't mean and nasty much like the design is. Something that may seem bad but actually quite good. Occasional mood swings, and such are fine, as long as he/she is not always rude/mean/bossy/angry/etc..
The story must be about Halloween, and there is a 500 word limit. No exceptions.
Art is optional, but honestly, if you don't have it you will have about a 3% chance of winning if someone else has it. Art is unlimited. You may add as many extras as you want, and I'd love to see them! I'm also really looking for pretty forms, particularly Halloween inspired.
