t h e . s i g n i f i c a n c e . o f . c a n d y - candy is something that takes you to another world. one full of sweetness. one full of delicate odysseys you've only ever dreamt of. one where you can enjoy yourself. this is the significance of candy to amai. she enjoys it as much as others enjoy singing or dancing. to her, it is a lifestyle, not just a simple choice of indulgence. she's not too sure when she really started to love the sweetness of candy, but it's stuck with her for many years and she continues to enjoy it. her favourite type of candy is anything pastel. she doesn't mind if it's sour, just prefers sweet over it. she'll eat any candy with a pastel coating. she also likes to display and photograph it. (●´∀｀●)

s w e e t . a n d . s o u r - p e r s o n a l i t y - Amai has quite an interesting personality. she'll treat you differently, depending on who you are and how much she trusts you as a person. if you've known her for a while? no worries. she'll be as sweet as anything when it comes to talking to you. she trusts you? you're fine. she'll confide in you with her secrets if she knows you like that.

you don't know her? she'll be quite mean it comes to talking to you. expect snide remarks and bitter glares until she gets to know you better. she won't show you any sympathy for your problems, either. she doesn't trust you? you've probably done something pretty bad, then. Amai trusts everyone until she gets to know them, and from there she judges your character. if after you talk to her, she gets an untrustworthy feeling, you've probably said and done something insensitive.

c a n d y . s h o p . o f . d r e a m s - Amai, being obsessed with candy, wishes to own her own candy shop. that is her one, and main goal in life. she has a named picked out already; actually she has more than a few ideas - pastel clouds, 甘酸っぱい (amazuppi; meaning sweet and sour in japanese), 甘い (sweet in japanese characters), temptation answered... we better stop there, she has hundreds of names in mind. anyway, she's already planned out how she wants it to look, and she even knows what candy she wants to stock.

"of course i know what candy i want to stock! i'm only going to stock the absolute yummiest candy on the earth! we'll have strawberry clouds, marshmellows, gushers, nerds, red skins, snakes, sour worms, frogs, buttercups, and everything in between! i'm going to own the most famous candy shop ever,
and it's going to be delightful."

f l a w s - amai is very accident prone. she manages to trip over herself at least once a day, or she drops something and manages to break it.

she doesn't have much of a centre of balance, and manages to knock quite a few things over.

s t r e n g t h s - amai is a good listener. she'll listen to anyone talk about anything. dreams, hopes, ambitions, problems, sadness, quarrels - she'll listen to it all. she'll also try to advise the person who's talking to the best of her ability, trying to raise their spirits or push their dreams in the right direction.

i've entered for quite a few kiamara's before, and haven't succeeded. i think the reason for that is i haven't felt an honest attachment to them - i haven't had the will to submit a form to the best of my ability. however - when entering for this kiamara, i've felt an urge to hurry up and finish the form, perfect it, make it look attractive, put in as much information as i can muster. i know i'm probably not the most deserving to win this kiamara - the other forms so far are gorgeous - but i have really felt the need to try, and make that try count.

i really loved her simple design the minute i laid eyes on her - and the first thought that popped into my head when creating my form - candy. i've tried to incorporate the theme of candy as much as possible, even using a song that reminds me of candy.

as a final note i would like to wish everyone the best of luck, as i think this will be a very hard contest to judge, but i know you'll make the right decision.
