Dear Journal,
I have been assigned the location for my study finally, and I feel that a journal will help organize my studies and thoughts for the next 2-3 months i'll be there.
Let me explain myself first. I am a Geo-biology teacher (I teach animal and their enviroment interactions for those of you who don't know), and have been presented an interesting case. You see, a have a few old biology friends in Brazil studying some of the forests down there when they thought I'd like to take a look at something they found. They told me that a stray Jelly Bean Dragon had been found out of the comforts of its home in the wilderness. They would have captured it and put it back into civilization, when they realized something important; it was thriving. This was a surprise to me that a JBD could thrive in a environment so far away from humans. At this point, almost all JBD were domesticated. They invited me to come and observe it for a short amount of time.
I accepted, thinking this would be great example for my next students. I am curious to see how this JBD really is. This certanly won't be any normal case.

Dear Journal,
I have arrived safely. Earlier today we went out in search for the JBD. The trip was not a pleasing one; we had to cut through vines, bushes, and thick grass to get anywhere. A rather large JBD was looking down at us from the tree branches. It had piercingly, intensive dark eyes and a glossy multicolored coat. I'm Presumed it was a he from the size and visible hindleg muscles

I wouldn't let that cuddly outer shell fool you, because on the inside, she has been trained to be a full-fledged feral animal. While having to focus on survival before friends, it takes alot of trust to tame her. But if you manage to break through the two layers of her, you find the loyal and smart Dragon she is. Not only will you be stuck with her for life, but more than likely you will find her protecting and hogging your attention from everyone else.
