Descriptive Personality: Luscinia is a graceful mare with a large heart and a spirit that lights up any area that she occupies. A fanciful mare she is often one to go out and find new ways to do something that normally most would typically ignore, going the more traditional route. On a scale of one to ten regarding the type of mare she is, she is a 10, an open mare who anyone can talk to. Incredibly daring, she is willing to take any risk that is thrust her way without a complaint and with worry. Naturally Luscinia is a leader, taking charge of any sort of challenge or situation that comes her way. With this in mind, she is assertive and not necessarily the quietest equid when she demands something or is barking an order out. Luscia is accommodating to nearly any situation despite how much of a leader she is, enthusiasm in everything she does to show that she truly does like and enjoy the task at hand. Humor is her best friend no matter the cost as it can calm someone who is worried and lift the spirits of someone who is down. She is highly confident in herself and is always sure of her actions no matter what happens afterwards; often you will find her going on gut instinct and not thinking it through all the time because it seems slightly more logical to her at the time. Passion courses through all of her actions and all of her thoughts, thoroughly believing in all of the things that she does. She is certainly a revolutionary mentally as she doesn't always abide, agree, or listen to the herd order and rules, wanting to do what it is she wants because she is a free-spirited mare.

Descriptive Personality: Awkward and weird and extremely shy when she speaks to those she doesn't know well. This is odd as when you see her she looks cool and confident, there is a look in her eye that tells people not to underestimate her. Not many do but those who do are not the brightest of sparks.
She moves with a grace and her appearance is as exist as her taste. Her true personality shows a wicked sense of humour and she can be extremely sarcastic she is also quite badass and has a rebellious streak but she only shows this around her closest friends and family. To not so close relatives and acquaintances she shows a more sensible, mature and polite exterior.
Her courage is building more and more each day so her true personality is beginning to seep through into her usual good girl act.

Descriptive Personality: Shannon can be described as nervous. She is a easily spooked mare and even tends to bolt in order to escape from any possible danger around. Shannon however tends to carry her head high, listening and looking for trouble, ready to react at any given time. This mare is always thinking about any possible dangers that lie ahead and tends to over think about them, causing her to be even more of a nervous wreck then she already is.

Descriptive Personality: Arrogant and a bit of a diva, Narcissa is often known to hurt someone's feelings. She had always been like this from the very beginning, her name even meaning "numb and unfeeling". No matter how much her kind and gentle mother tried, this uncharacteristically cold filly just couldn't be taught. At the age of three her parents couldn't deal with her any longer and left her to her own devices. With no one to control her, Narcissa for a time went rampant; living as a wild creature and inadvertently causing hurt to others in the area. After a time, while watching a doe and her newborn fawn lovingly nuzzle each other from across a field, Narcissa was struck by the sudden realization of her faults. Slowly, over the course of her fifth year, her eyes opened to the true nature of the world, and the way she behaved was wrong: that life should be governed by love, not hate or fear. It was difficult; like being pulled out of a deep, dark hole. But by the age of six, she fully understood and learned how to be gentle, patient, and benevolent. She now spends her life searching for her lost parents, and along in the great journey helping out any creature who needs a few kind words to put a smile on their face and brighten their day.

Descriptive Personality: Nesha is a very easy going equid but does what she wants, not really worrying about others satisfaction. She will do what ever comes into her head, if she's silently eating some grass and thinks about attempting to climb a tree, she's off to the forest to find a tree. She is often viewed as quite rude and very strange, but the only equids who know her true self, who is still quite random, are her closest friends and herd. She is very random but kind, but often seen as harsh. She's very sarcastic and clumsy. She always has her head in the clouds. She is usually saying everything she's thinking, pointing out any flaws or anything she notices about another equid, so if she's quite around someone, that often means she is fond of them. She is always very antsy and twitchy, never staying still. She is very head strong and is not pursuaded very easily, when in an argument, she is very hostile and often has her way.

I had recently been pointed in the direction of a unique baby-naming website {can be found here for girls} by another user, and decided to go use it for this purpose. I marked everything "no preference", save for the fact that I wanted the name to be Australian. The only result with a 100% perfect match was Cardinia- top of the list name, and one that also happened to have an N in it. I mistakenly thought that we were looking for a C instead of an Sand so to be honest just tacked the S on there xD It's not a bad name, though, and it still is Australian. Besides being a place of government, it also means 'Dawn'.

Descriptive Personality: Sleek, small and shy, Cardinias blends into a crowd with ease. She dislikes attention being drawn to her of any sort at any time, and is shy in the best of moments- and at worst, traumatized. Cardinias has a half-instinctual and half-learned fear of just about everything, and only includes her 2 or 3 close-knit friends on the details of her life. She is only completely normal and at ease with herself when she is with those friends, and then she reveals a side of herself that no one else has seen yet- a funny and witty side, intelligent and quick to speak out, and sarcastic as well- but still shy. Inside of her dark bay pelt she holds as a fragile shell there is an open, honest and hilarious filly just waiting to break out...a filly she keeps hidden, a filly she doesn't trust with any other equids out there. To be truthful, Cardinias is just afraid to be herself- the heavy crush of peer pressure steers her well away from expressing the smallest bit of herself at any time; and an attempt to flaunt her knowledge could result in teasing, which would break her down. Cardinias is very wise, and knows many things about the world that she learned at such an age that she never would have hoped to learn them at, so she is very experienced too, but has never dared to speak out a single word- all because of her fear.

Descriptive Personality: Like a proper bowl of chili, this mare has a lot of spice. She is generally calm, withheld, and tries to be considerate, though if her temper is ranging short, she may snap. If she feels passionately about something, then you better not disagree - doing so will most definitely result in a fight. Now, when I say fight, I mean purely verbal. Solan is a fighter, but she is still a lady, and ladies do not get their hooves dirty. She likes to keep to the company of herself mostly, though will talk to any of her friends if they come around.

Descriptive Personality: Nesala, sometimes affectionately dubbed 'Nessie' is an avid swimmer and runner. She loves to get her hooves dirty and play/wrestle in the mud. Some say she's more fish than Equid, whenever there is water, Nesala is in it. She's a friendly mare, although she is a bit sarcastic and rude at times, she loves to laugh. She is a bit of a flirt, and has an unidentifiable accent in her voice that many find incredibly cute. Nesala forms strong, close emotional ties with many Equids, mostly the ones in her herd, and is very loyal to her herd, although not so much individuals, where relationships are concerned! Nessie is very generous and giving.

Descriptive Personality: Nessa, Nessie, Ness - whatever you prefer to call her - is a mostly easy-going girl, but she's often a bit shy. She is a talented singer, but she's never shared her angelic voice with anyone. Ness is very polite and considerate, having been raised well by parents that appreciated such virtues. This pretty filly isn't all crazy about colts and is quite oblivious to how they feel towards her, but she's quite family-oriented. Ness doesn't trust easily and she picks her friends very carefully, so, as might be expected, she is very loyal to her few friends and trusts them completely. Ness does have her faults, like everyone else. She is a bit of a procrastinator, despite her parents' many attempts to teach her to do otherwise, and she's not the best at working with others. She rarely loses her temper, but when she does she completely flies of the handle. She cools down pretty quickly and it doesn't take long for her to accept that she shouldn't have done so and apologize. Ness tends to lean on her imagination a bit, relying on it for most of her entertainment and social needs. She is a very curious equid, wanting to learn about quite a few things - the world beyond the sky, mostly. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor, and she isn't a very physically active equid, but she is quite the thinker, always contemplating some question or pondering over the meaning in something. Ness isn't a "perfect" equid, but she's a wonderful one for sure.
