Malik is this boy’s name, an African name for Prince. The reason I chose this name is because it sounds unique and edgy, quirky and fun. It was also because it means prince, and Malik is rather like that. Not literally, of course, but he loves to wear his little golden crown and pretend he is important, and can sometimes act like he is better than others. But you’ll find more out as you head towards his personality section.

Malik has a few hobbies, windsurfing being one of them. He loves to go out and hop onto his board, grab hold of the sail and let the wind take him. Sure, he is not yet old enough to windsurf on his own, but as his father loves water sports he is always able to take him. Great pleasure comes out of the sea, he always thinks to himself, and he will always love water. The beauty, the cooling sensation on a warm day, and the depths it can hold intrigues him. This young prince will forever be held in the ocean’s grasp.

Another thing he enjoys, and does regularly, is role-playing games. Role play is an important part of a young bean’s childhood, and without it the sparks of imagination Malik is always receiving wouldn’t be there. You can always find Malik being creative and pretending to fight with dragons or be a merman under the waves, or even pretending to be an evil king banishing his sister to another land. One day he hopes to give his father an idea that he can make into a book, and recite poems of fantasy worlds to whatever fortunate citizen happens to walk by. They would most likely think him peculiar, however, but he doesn’t know that!

Malik can be a rather annoying bean at times, jumping on you and asking for sweets, always sticking by you no matter what. But that’s what makes him so special. He will never be disloyal to those he cares about, and even though you might call him clingy, he just wants you to know that you are loved! Oblivious to the things around him would also be another thing you can pick up on about him, as he is so unobservant. He barely ever understands what is going on around him, and will most likely say two beans of different gender who are friends are in love like lots of young children do, or be shouted at by his parents for going to chase a bird when he is supposed to be listening.

Overall, Malik is actually quite a happy chappy. Everything he does in life is only for what he sees is good, and nothing can really make him alter his cheery mood. When you first meet him you’ll probably find him cute, quirky and cool, but start to get friendlier with him and you will unveil the flaws of this young one. For example, his tendency to day-dream while you are talking to him, his cute yet annoying sensitive side and his clumsy way of knocking everything near him over. It’s actually quite funny when running with him; you will probably have to stop as he has tripped over his own feet! Others generally find him likeable, however some dislike his annoying tendencies, but whenever faced with the chance to embarrass him cannot find a bad thing to say without getting comments back from others.

Being a somewhat extravagant bean, Malik has a few evocative items. The first one, and most precious to him, is his simple golden crown. He found this treasured item when he first realized the wonders of water on a searing, sundrenched day, floating on the crystalline water. Picking it up he saw his own reflection, and decided that this crown would be worn upon his head to show his importance in the world. Because even though he was small, he was mighty, and he wanted to show others that every living thing was put on earth for a reason. Those who were sad were not alone, he thought, they would always be counted as fortune by prince Malik!

Although his crown is the only thing he wears all of the time, he has a few more items that he wears sometimes. Well, when I say a few, I guess I mean a lot! Malik is an uncontrolled hoarder, and has his own special tree in which he hides all of his findings. There he has his notepad and ‘pen’; a few feather necklaces he made himself; an array of gems, stones, shells and marbles; one lion plush once owned by a human; his red cape, scruffy armour and ninja mask he sometimes uses to role-play and some cool-shaped sticks. Undoubtedly, he will continue his collection until the tree is completely full for the rest of his life, as it brings him great joy to see the wonders of what he has collected. It is an impossible task to make Malik throw anything away, although on occasion he will give an item to somebody as a gift. If this ever happens, you have done well to please him!

I chose to write a Haiku as it is quite symbolic. I wanted to write a poem as one of my extras, and I thought that doing a Haiku would be good as, just as Malik’s name, it has a restricted number of syllables. So here it is; I hope you like it!

╭ ѕυммary: ╮ Malik does most of his best imaginative work when asleep. The peace and tranquility of it all sets his mind wild, and his night is just as vivid as day. When he awakens he usually remembers everything and jots it down on his notepad, of which he made with some paper found laying on the floor and some sticky tree sap (using a small stick and mud as a pen), although if he is woken suddenly he never remembers as well. The last paragraph represents his different coloured eyes, and his willingness to do good deeds.

I’m good, Malik, but this is about you! Anyway, what do you do in your free time?

Oh, okay. I like to be creative and write stuff, as well as roleplay.

Thank you Malik! Now, it’s coming up to Halloween, what do are you going to do?

I want to dress up as a scary vampire and go trick or treating! But I don’t want to scare people too much, because it’s not very nice. I’ll definitely have fun with my family though, even if some of them are scaredy-cats!

Sounds great! Is Halloween your favourite holiday then?

Hmmmm... I like all of them! Halloween is really fun, and I really really like it, but birthdays are really fun too! Not to mention Christmas, although I don’t like the snow very much. It’s too cold!

What about your family? Tell me about them!

I love my family a lot! My daddy is really fun, and he always understands me when nobody else can. I love my mummy too; she’s very nice to me! As for my sisters, they can be a little annoying sometimes, but I still love them.

That’s lovely, Malik. Here’s an interesting question: if you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things, what would they be and why?

Errrrm, I know! I would take a big truck full of everything I needed to survive! And then another for all my stuff in my hoard tree, and another with my family inside it! Hehe, bet you never thought of that!

why I want robin (extra four);;
Robin is a beautiful bean, and I'm extremely grateful for being able to try out for him. He's the first bean I've tried out for in months, and I really appreciate being able to try for him. He's beautiful, and I can barely write right now. I'm shaking. I love him so much, and he's practically a bean I love ever so dearly. Can I just say, he's not like the other beans I've seen. He's different, not just the same colour palette used over and over again. Not the same design. He's gorgeous. Robin is everything to me, and I can't stop thinking about him. Oboe, Missing -- you've seen me on the fanclub, I'm sure. Robin is everything to me, and even though I don't talk about him a lot, he still means the world to me. I've been working on my form night and day ina word document, and, right before judging, I wanted to post it. And here it is, completed and finished. Robin, I can't explain as to why I want him. It's nearly impossible. But all I can say is, he's gorgeous. The most beautiful bean I've ever seen. I can picture roleplaying with him, April, his other sisters, Freya, and Topaz, every member of his family. I can see him playing with Pourpre, which would be his adoptive cousins due to having Piper's adoptive relations. I can see me roleplaying him on the fanclub, drawing him, writing about him.
