To try for this girl, tell me how she holds herself and how she moves. Something descriptive please. No length restriction, but don't write something too long! If you write a long piece you'll have to keep reader interest, it's gotta draw me in c: SAoR.
Username: Nellas Lissësúl
Equid's Name: Heather, symbolizing solitude, protection, admiration and beauty
Age: Four years of age
Height: 13.1hh
Gender: Mare
Personality:
Found as a child with a terrible head wound and no memory of her past, and raised by a doe who had lost her fawn in the same mudslide that her mother had been swept away in, Heather is a very strange equid to meet or have met. She has lived around deer all her life, not equids, and it is an essential part of her very being.
Heather idolized her deer mother and wanted to be exactly like her; the doe was the kindest and most genuinely caring creature the young filly had ever met, but her differences from deer had never granted Heather a high self esteem. She hadn't figured out one of lifes lessons yet; to be able to make others happy to the best of her ability as her mother had, she would have to learn to love herself first. But it was hard, as everything was, because she was nothing like other deer at all. She looked different, thought different, acted different. Hey grey coat couldn’t even blend in with fallen leaves and underbrush as a real fawn’s would, so her deer mother had been forced to take her along with her in the early weeks of her childhood. She may be more like a deer than an equid to an equid, but to the deer she was just a strange, unknown little creature, misunderstood and alone except for her mother. It wasn't until later in her life, when her deer mother was gone, that she realized the full extent of the sacrifices her mother had made for her.
She's usually very serious, though she is gentle and selfless, wanting to pass on the kindness her mother lent her to others as well. However she doesn't have a great sense of humor and can often feel left out, she craves to be around others that are like her but her feelings can be hurt easily. She had finally been exposed to her own kind but is insecure and doesn't know what to think about them or how to act; she's picked up the basics of how to talk like normal equids but its just another thing to make her worry now that she doesn't have the unconditional love of her deer mother.
Compared to other equids, the mare doesn't often have much to say; it was not the way of her mother to put much into words, as it was to putting feeling into the heart. She was the one who taught the equid the language of flowers; it had been passed down mother to fawn until it came to her. It was one of her favorite aspects of childhood, knowing that she was fulfilling a tradition that stretched back for generations upon generations. Her deer mother, recognizing the earnesty and the urge to make others happy in that sincere but often lonely little equid, encouraged her to sing and compose poems in her head as an outlet for her creativity as the little filly learned the ways of the world. That soft sweet little voice would so often ring out in the early morning and as an evening lullaby.
Elegant and dignified in all aspects; she is every bit a lady, chaste, shy and beautiful in that heartbreaking way that only one who is unaware of how beautiful she actually is can achieve. She strives to remain dignified and not let them see how much she hurts on the inside, even if it’s bad. She is uncomfortable with expressing things she wants; even when she was a child she recognized the selflessness and will to give and make others happy in her mother, and strived to emulate it. She would rather give until she has nothing than ask for a single thing. She’s used to keeping unhappy emotion bottled up inside her, for to let her mother know the extent of her sadness would have undoubtedly broken her heart.
