This is my new species, the Akhal Teke's.

Some information about them:

They are based on the horse breed, the Akhal Teke's, but are a bit different anyhow. The wild ones here are quite smaller than the domestic ones, very slender and fragil but fast, fierce and robust at the other hand. A wild Akhal will also have a very short mane, standing upright on their long and svan-like neck, and an also very short tail by nature. The small hooves make them able to climb very well and fast but also allows them to run so fast, you'd only see a blurr. That's why you seldomly catch a look at these graceful creatures.

A wild Akhal will not come near any human unless he makes friend with him or her... you can not break or tame them, though, they will decide which human is worth a friendship and will only then accept a gift from the human, usually a neck band. They'll keep on living free in any case but will hear the faintest cry or whistle to make them run to their friend. Humans may ride them but only whitout bridle and saddle...They are to bid to go where you want to go, not to force them at your way!

Coat colouring and pattern



• Teke's come in all coat colours a natural horse comes in, including pinto, rabicano, sabino, splash and so on. Only Appaloosa markings are rarely seen.
  
• colours which are seldomly seen in other horse breeds are common in the Teke's such as Dunalino, Creme, Champagne, etc.
  
• The base coat of a wild Akhal Theke will allways show a metallic sheen.

How to adopt
you will have to go to the page of the Teke you are up to adopt and follow the instructions of the designing artist there... and that's it =)

This is a free of charge species, meaning: you won't have to pay but there may be a little contest as the artist pleases.

Rules:
- do not claime as your own
- do not argue with the artists and please stay polite and nice to anybody at any point!
- there will be no customs, so don't ask for them!
- you can own as many Tekes as you like but please give others the chance to get one, too =)
- no editing of the forms! Means no WIP's, no centering nor changing the colour!
