wind hounds adoption center!

let me introduce to you two very ancient and beautiful dog breeds:
the desert born Saluki:

These dogs come from the arabian deserts where they were bred even before the Bedouins bred their precious Arabian horses!
In the contrary to other dogs, this breed is valued very highly by the Beduoins because of their usefulness in hunting gazelles and hares, they are even allowed to sleep at their owners tent and are appreciated members of the family!

There are two different fur types:
the feathered and the short haired type, which differ only in the lenght of the feathering of legs, ears and tail.
The most commonly seen colours are creme, black, chocolate, red, black and tan, black and silver, grizzle and tricolor. White Salukis are very rare and seldomly seen. All colours can come with a mask and some reds even have black ears.

the brittish Deerhounds:

The brittish Deerhound counts to the giant and ancient windhound breeds of the Celts.
Once they where used to chase the deer into the sight of the hunters and later they where appreciated companion dogs to the scottish aristocracy.

Their fur is shagy and rough but contiguous and comes in many shades of grey, in yellow and in red with black mask, ears and tail. Very very rarely you can possibly glimpse a white or black one.

It is a very strong breed but commonly calm and graceful. They like to please their owners, are brave and smart.

how to adopt:

This is our allmighty Sheijk:

he will decide wether you get one of his preciuos Salukis or not!

Every tim you see a Salukis which picture states "adopt me", you may apply for him or her just as the instructions on his or her thread asks you about!
You are allowed to own three Salukis at a time
Readoptions need an explicit permission from me
breedings are not available at the moment but may be opened later

This is our dogcenter, where you can adopt your deerhound:

all imported Deerhounds will have a current seat at our dogcenter awaiting their new owners.
If you see a Deerhound which picture states "adopt me", you may apply for him or her just as the instructions on his or her thread asks you about!
You are allowed to own three Salukis at a time

payment

only the first dogs wil cost a bit because they are the foundation for our den =)

mostly these adoptables are free of charge... but the breeding of your dogs will require payment

- you may pay in pets or in deviant art points.
- you will pay a breeding fee for producing pups
- commonly a pup will cost one to two wishlist pets/ 30 da points. Depending on the rarity of the puppy you want to adopt, the amount or the rarity of pets (points) will rise aswell.

Breeding Den
~closed until there are enough dogs~

this is our breeding den.
every dog can be bred when he or she comes of an age of at least 3 years. The dogs you are adopting from me are foundation dogs, so they are 3 years or older and for that can be bred. But the pups you breed will be born as pups and therefore have to grow. You can decide how fast your pup grows buy stating it's age at it's thread BUT it can not grow faster than three years a week!!!!

so.... YOUR PUP HAS TO BE ONE WEEK ON THIS FORUM TO BE BRED!

I think it is a fun thing to breed dogs here at this forum so I want to make a real kennel club with you all!
I'll make a new thread for all of you dog owner to registrate at this club if you want to breed. there you can advertise your dogs and search for mates =)

I will accept three breedings at a time and the winners of the slots will be posted here:

the rules again for short:
- the adopted dogs cen be bred straight away
- the pups has to be at least one week on this forum until they become of age
- three breding slots at a time
- you may breed your own dogs or between different owners (permission granted!)
- the owner of the female will have to pay a breeding feeto me (and to the owner of the male)
