name reason/meaning: Well, I wanted a unique and beautiful name to go with this little girl, after all. Jemmie came to mind because I have a pet dog named Jemmie here on CS, and I'm quite fond of the name. Originally it came from a book, where a character (male) named Jeremiah was named Jemmie. I just thought that name was adorable, and it sounds good as a girl's name as well.

The "Green" part, of course, is based off of her beautiful green eyes. They were the first thing I saw when I spotted this bean, and I zeroed in on them like a fox on a rabbit. I think the Green goes well with the Jemmie, though, and I do enjoy two-part names. I hope you do as well!
