a quick explanation about the above !! touko is a writer - she became inspired due to her love for books and the worlds they're able to transport you to, the emotions they're able to make you feel. she keeps a list of books that have really strongly impacted her in some way - whether something that she really enjoyed, something she really hated, but every book on this list is significant to her in some way - it's almost like a diary for her: she links her memories to a book and is able to reflect upon them.

is the name my mum gave me. I don't really like it, to be quite frank.

Winnie collects night lights. It's pretty strange you could say, but perhaps it wouldn't be if you knew the reason why. Winnie's afraid of the dark, and was always very fascinated by the night light in her room that seemed to, 'chase away the monsters'. When Winnie was older she started to collect them. Her room is lit with hundreds of small, large, yellow, white, blue, antique, and modern night lights. Some are made from plastic and some are made of a thin, see through glass. She even has a couple fireflies in a large glass jar near the window of her room. Winnie often goes outside once dusk falls to catch them, but always lets them go the next morning.
