♣Scent♣ Known to hold the smell of fresh coffee and a warm treat. Usually that treat is a cinnamon bun, but sometimes there is also the added scent of sugars, and jams to his usual fragrances.

♠Taste♠ His tastes are somewhat cultivated. As much chance there is of him trying new things, that aren't as high standard as he usually eats, is an equal chance that he will end up spitting out the lower grade whatever-it-was. He is easily drawn to sweet food, as well as intensely bitter food and most often chooses products with those tastes more than anything else. His cup of java and little daily treat can get him through just about anything. Even the most pestering people.

♣Touch♣ He has a surprisingly gentle touch, along with his soft, suede fur. Physically he is pretty delicate and is rarely known to hurt anybody intentionally. Even when angry he seems to have that annoyingly charming, gentle touch to him. Of course he isn't weak. He has a strong body, inside and out, and without a doubt, despite his delicate features you know this charming guy is a male.
Though that body comes with some strange tendencies.
He can have strange twitches, not frequently, it's quite rare actually. His ear may twitch in a conversation, or even his arm when he's picking up something. Though it really isn't too awkward he is bent on despising that habit of his, using it as material for his charming jokes and doting on it with such testy undervalue.

♠Voice♠ The voice of Lumi is strong yet has an airy breath to it. It bears similarities to Martin Freeman's voice. An accent ascending from Britain, subtle, but obviously there.

♣Appearance♣ He appears much younger than he legitimately is. He looks as though he's in his early 20's when in reality he's 26, turning 27. His style is a mix of casual and formal. It doesn't seem like he cares. "Just threw this shirt on" sort of thing. Though he looks so fine and furnished you can't help but wonder, even though in most circumstances if his clothes are ruined he'll act fine with it. That is, unless some stupid bothersome person rips his clothes while doing something stupid and bothersome...then he'll lose patience.

When it comes to his own color scheme, he isn't very fond of his own orange horns. In fact he hates them. He wishes he'd been born with a sleek silver, or something more fitting of his personality. Granted he can be a buoyant character thanks to his humour, however, he feels at first glance many take him to be much too 'immature' in appearance thanks to his complimentary colour scheme which seems to radiate a sense of inner youth.

The same thing goes for his feathers. They were passed down from one generation to another over one hundred years before he was even born but he despises them now as much as he would have if he was born one hundred years ago within his family. But bird feathers from this bird are family heirlooms, he's learned this when he was a child, and they mean, apparently, more than anything to his family. Even more than their childs and grandchilds dignity... Sadly. And so as he'd like to go on saying, "My family has no taste. For feathers they chose such a color as this disaster of a thing, but it means too much to the family to rip them off. Though seriously speaking... They do not have any tastes."

It isn't to say he doesn't have humour, because he has quite a lot of it. Smirking and laughing is what he's known for but that's for humour only he can understand.

He is calm, unnerving even under the most unhaltering of situations.

From afar the idea of this boy may vary to different individuals. To some, he's a mystery, someone who keeps his truths, secrets and lies hidden away inside the deepest crevices of his own nature. Yet to certain others he is blunt, a fiery gentlemen who isn't afraid to say anything to anyone. And to be truthful both of these aspects describe him excessively well.
Whatever words leave his mouth he is willing to say and, to describe it blatantly, that makes what he's saying just about as important as anything and everything. Just the fact that he took effort on it makes it good enough, because he wouldn't say whatever he wanted to, if it wasn't so. So, it is a good idea to listen intently when he speaks.

There is reason as to why something is humorous to him as it is, and yet not to others. That is because he's weaving secrets in his words again, or finding hidden meaning in others dialogue. These words are his to understand, and though everyone in civilization understands words, much of the ones he says have a way of connecting only to him. Though in some situations, if not more, others understand the main source of his humour, they just aren't in the correct position to agree to it. His words are on the threshold of overly important and the impertinently intellectual. That is why he does not enjoy repeating himself, his words are important in this not-important world and he'd rather not waste his valuable time by having to repeat his own valuable words. it is not an aspect of self centred boasting, though he does have a large ego. He does not simply blurt out random idiocies, his words are words of knowledge. Superior knowledge.

He is the most placid kia you will ever meet (a sheer ironic contradiction to his colour scheme). About no emotion shows from his cunning, cold, and intelligent face unless he'd like it to, but when someone can fire him up enough, somehow, god help them, he has a will to get angry. With anger that not even the boldest man dare face, in fear of being renamed 'the stupidest man.' From that anger seems to come a series of volatile acts that he apparently takes great enjoyment out of.

His views on all others is similar in that they all intrigue him, not lacking lustre, but painfully bothersome to deal with. To most he's just another rude guy from one glance to the next, of course this is odd to him, considering he feels he is quite the noble character... However he does become comfortable with people, on occasion even those who consider him rude. And on that amazing fact one can begin to fathom what his relationships must be like, even if limited. Most of the time he is keen on not saying anything, or adding to others words, with the intent of getting someone off a bothering context that he himself unwittingly but fully brought into the room, by bringing up a concept that in the end he feels the others are too inept to discuss with him. It is in most cases, where people are able to properly communicate with him about more superior topics, that he finds he can indulge in their company more loosely.

Though you can't tell if he's comfortable or not because he has that, "I can do what I want ladies and gentlemen, and I can say what I want as well because, well, Im me," sort of attitude which he likes to flaunt everywhere just to keep out of boredom, he seems comfortably at ease in every situation. And when, somehow, he does become comfortable in his surroundings he can easily express himself without feeling he need to restrain his voice as to not trigger impudence from his audience. He begins to gain the ability to express himself on whole new levels and to the people he's comfortable around, that is something different than his normal method of communication.
Out goes the harder banter that seems only amusing to him and here comes the new banter. It may seem similar on most aspects, but the sense of charming humour he gains with any newfound sense of comfort can amuse about any of the ones close to him. Much of the time, perhaps simply due to the fact he shares such few elongated conversations with others, it becomes something like their own little secret.
Of course it obviously isn't easy to talk to him, even for a small amount of time, it'd take about as much work and breath as you can drag from yourself, but it isn't a failed cause. If you can work up the effort, and the eloquence.

He stands with a massive intellect, his presence often being seen as largely intrusive, he can be seen as somewhat inelegant to anyone on the opposing side. Of course he could care less.
Boredom may as well be the bane of his existence, and to get away from it he's willing to go into many investigations and go with many ideas just for the seance of intrigue within these things. Doing them...solving them...at least that's not boring.
An independent soul. He doesn't usually need help and when he's weak at state it is quite awkward. Let's be blunt about this- its very alarming to see him break. Even just a little, it still shocks you, but him almost breaking completely is even more of an odd, scary thing. The fact is that with such a personality it is doubted he could be anything but strong so of course it's hard to see such a strong person needing that sort of assistance. And even harder for him to accept it. His strong cover fading even for himself from fatigue, the need for someone to help him back to his feet, he does not like that feeling whatsoever.

Though getting the usual sort of help, like someone bringing something to him or taking it away is okay. Staging orders to some poor sap is perfectly fine with him.

To some it may seem that Lumi is too high handed and takes himself to be much more than he is. But he wouldn't dare act in such a manner, as that to him, would be idiocy.

You might have heard of the full circle effect, or coming full circle. Something like this... Lumi is so mature that it makes him irritably childish. He's got a mature-ology but with the knowledge of how capable he is, it is obvious he just doesn't have to give a damn. And that makes him incapable to deal with in a mature fashion at certain points.

♠History {Third Person Story}♠

Sunny autumn days were the most amazing compared to those chilly winter days. At least that was what Lumis mother thought, so when her darling boy was born one autumns day, Semptember 23 to be exact, she thought it was pure luck. Of course Lumi would come to think of most of her words as erasable, forgettable things. Because even if she had a special little place pricked into his heart most of the things she said were ridiculous. Sometimes so ridiculous that they ended up making sence.
She always had a way of surprising him. That may explain how he, so easily, knows how to surprise others, hereditary instinct. Her little boy was something special, precious. And wile his father was seriouse, and her mother had left them and her father had been against the marriage all together, she was free. Frivolous and chivalrous. Without a care in the world, and her little tot to fallow.

She had told him that he was centered in her best memories. She had unwrapped the blanket and held his little hands together the first time she held him. She had knelt in front of him and reached her arms out, watching him waddle to her, stand, crawl towards her... Fall over and wail. She was there when he said his first word. Most unimaginatively "Shoe". Then his next few words, which were more interesting than shoe. She was there for it all and those were some of her favorite days, she was a genuine loving mother. From his first breath to his last graduation she was there.

He has no clear memories of these childhood moments but he doesn't deny the obvious. Of course he never found saying "shoe" to be that breath taking, if not very interesting, and he never could remember his first step, but then who could? His father was also there for those special moments... obviously. He was seriouse, strict frowns and one time commands sort of seriouse. A strong contrast from his mother but they made it work like this oddness was supposed to flow so smoothly. It wasn't. Lumi Definetly had a unique childhood experience, retaining both his mothers and fathers little quirks and tendencies yet staying as far away from them, somehow, as living genetics allowed.

Once when he was still toddling around, six years old, he tried making things out of cardboard. Of course it was mostly his parents handiwork but as a child how was he to know how claim went. Through the years these little building ideas stuck. They made cardboard fortresses, castles, weapons. One of his most prized possessions was a cardboard sword. He'd tie up his blankets in his backyard and make a huge hammock like thing, get a bunch of wooden boxes, the ones that held fruits, and make a ladder path up to the hammock... Ahem, the ship. Tied up to the tree branches was a huge knot of well put blankets that he, with ease, called his ship. He'd gotten a very large blanket and made his dad nail the two top edges to two separate trees then with many more blankets made his ship. The secret passage way was behind the blanket in the front. A path of fruit crates galor, leading right up to his ship. And of course this little sailer had enemy ships coming to attacked his amazing hammo----ship.. His ship. He'd fend off tens and hundreds of his enemies, himself, using his cardboard sword.
"Mumma, I want to be a Sailer!" He had told her, and, any day she can, she uses it against him.
"Oh! And this is my little Lamby{a pet name} in his pirate ship." She knew it was a sailor ship but she also knew it peeved Lumi when she mixed them up, even her pretending to have them mixed up bothered him. "He had his own sword, he even sometimes slept out there in his ship. Haha.. When he was really little all he could do was try to tie a blanket over his shoulders and act like a superhero. But then he got all these ideas to become a pirate. What was it that you called your ship Lamby....?" And of course he'd turn to her carelessly, gaze twitching with a temptation to ask her to be quiet, politely or not depending on her. "The Deamon," he'd say with a voice just as careless as his turn towards her. The Deamon.. One partial fact be remember out of it all. Wile she went on with elaborating stories on how he "saved" innocent Kias and "beat" bad ones he'd frown and blink at her... Still trying to take in what kind of crazy she was. "Also, it was a Sailor ship. The Deamon. We pillaged the rich who incoherently are theifs themselves, plundered into danger and all that childhood nonsense."

Even though he had herd of lakes, and ponds and oceans as well as seen them up close and personal, he had never thought of himself as someone alike to the sea. Maybe it was because he wasn't thinking of it in appearance or that he just didn't see it, as some people just don't. To him the connection wasn't there at all. But many others did, in Elementary the Nicknames Blue-boy, Seagull and Sea-foam began popping up all the time near him. Many kids called him these sorts of names, so much that his resl bame became overshadowed. He tried ignoring them but that didn't seam to work, so instead he started calling them things. Nothing big or bad, just truthful things about themselves. They called him blue-boy because he was blue, so he began commenting them on their own appearances as well as habits. "I mite be blue but at least I don't look like a dieing rainbow puked me out and the tried to throw me into a lake." Of course at that age these things sounded pretty silly, well to older people, to the children it was still rude. This small habit of being overly blunt, commenting on others became more than just a habit. Though everything he said was truthful, those things were not said because most took them as an insult. Because it was all truth he saw no offense in saying these things, if they weee to teach him be tell the truth all the time then it should go without saying that this is also the same thing, the truth.
"That habit is trully disgusting to look at. You should stop before anyone else is turned off by it.. You'll never get anyone that way." Of course with him that trait grew, his overly blunt, truthful way of things is still a strong, so very strong, part of him today.

-A small but horrible phase
At a the age of fifteen, sixteen maybe, his more rebellious side struck out much more than it had in when he was younger. He was more of an individual than a group person but his knowledge was not as well grown as it is now. So, he grew some tendencies to make up for his still growing expertise. One Ill fitted tendency was never letting his hair get cut too short. It always, always at least passed the shoulders. Now looking back at old photos he can not help wanting to, for the life of himself, stab out the eyes of anyone who saw. Even his own. As is known he's as calm as calm can be but if someone where to find those old photos of those few teen years, when he still sported that stylishly feminine long hair, he'd about jump on them and throw it across the room. Of course there is sentimentality to those old years, curse that sentiment, and so he can not bring himself to throw away the rechid things no matter how hard he tries.

Around when he was ten Lumi found a colorful box beside his grandmothers bed and after opening the unlocked box he found many, many orange feathers stuffed carefully inside. Some were bigger than his fingers and some were smaller than his eye but all were soft and gentle on his hands. He had sat there staring at the opened box for a few minutes then, when his grandmother came into the room... She saw him sitting there with the box and smlied, sitting right beside him.

♣History {First Person Story}♣

Have you ever known of the British colony as a bad thing? My mother told me that no matter how many wars, quarrels, and idiotic things a Nation is prone to they're still a good Nation if they have good people. And to her it was the same with people. No matter how many bad things they do, they can still become a good person.
Heh, and that made almost no since to me, but at that time I was only a young boy. I still hadn't learned all that I could and wasn't even close to the intellectual prowess I own now.


It all began in my teenage years. At night I felt as if somehow there was someone there. It may have been a silly idea but the feeling was real... But one day it was. Of course the feelings of that sort are just silly things. What were the chances that anything other than myself was there, sleeping with me?

Ahaha... Ha... My friend was helping me with decorating yesterday and things got messed up and we lost all my writing.. Then went scowering through all the pages we had previously been through to see if we could find the writing. ;w; we did find most of it and rewrote it in the middle of the night, but we couldn't get back some of the history as well as some extras. ewe so, sorry for their short lengths.

Miami had a feel for Chance when he nearly lost my job, because he had fallen asleep on the tall chair, and only woke up when he has heard a familiar voice calling for help, he rushed over to the motorboat and quickly headed to the kiamara who had fallen out of a boat far out in the sea. He kept pulling on the lever to go faster and faster, the sea spray was whipping in his face but was still focused on the direction, when he got to him, he realized it was Chance! And quickly pulled him up and aboard, and ever since that he had felt something for him, he knows Chance likes him back, it might happen ♥

Surf Fantic
Its pretty obvious now that Miami is a major surfer,
he does professional surfing too, but sometimes
he does it for fun, because it is fun! It gets scary when you
are stranded out there, but he always keeps a waterproof
alarm signal, so anyone from 3 miles can see it, and a button
on it which gives a message to his close friends and the other life guards.
He can do amazing and cool stunts! He does them best when Chance is around

beach, sometimes if he finds a pretty fish or two, it takes it
and places it in his aquarium at home. He usually does this
after his shift is over, its just like any practical hobby except
he takes it a little serious by labeling and searching up each item
he finds to find out what it is, or he would just keep it because its
unique if he already knows what it is

Life Guard
He has a career as a life guard at various beaches and resort pools,
Miami has never failed in saving someone in time, he keeps his job
running smooth and easy and hasn't had a problem so far, thats also
how he got all that buff B).

Caring & Loving
Now Miami sometimes can
be a reckless party fun guy, but
he is also very
considerate and caring, thats kinda
also why he does his job.

Miami is a total a party geek, he knows exactly when where and how to have a great party. Sometimes his friends come over to ask him for advice, for those that don't know him well he seems to be a serious and ordinary kiamara, but he's completely different, on his days off he lights up the beach with BBQ's and beat boxes. He has dealt with complaining neighbors that they can't get sleep but he just encourages them to join

When the party is over sometimes his friends still hang around for a while

a surfer's tale

It was early July, summer has loaded the beach with many getting a nice cool breeze from the coast. I was young back then, pretty much a child, my sister was making sand castles near by, watching her repeatedly put wet sand in the bucket then carry it back to the dry sand area, little by little stacking up the blocks to build her goal of making a castle. I wasn't interested in that, so as I walked along the tide, I took my own bucket and gathered up some beautiful, unique, and odd shells, stones and plants from the sea, and suddenly, I heard a loud horn, I spun around and looked over my shoulder, I saw hundreds of people crowding near one side of the tide, I wondered why they were so excited. I looked over at Brianna and she was finished with her sand castle, but then got occupied again as she went over to make another one, I rolled my eyes and ran off to see whats going on, I made my way and somehow managed to get to the front, and realized it was a surfing competition! I've always wanted to be a surfer, but back then every one said I was too young, and it was too hard so no way I could do it, but I just ignore them. Later the competition was over and a winner was chosen, and thats when someone bumped into me fron behind, we both crashed down into the sandy floor "oof!" I exclaimed, the other kiamara who was my age got up and was a bit nervous, "oh, jeez I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to I kinda just rushed to see the stage and--" I chuckled to myself, "hah, its okay, no big deal" and thats when I met Chance, yup, knew him since I was a kid, from that day forward we were the best of friends, and no other way to put it.

T O D R I F T A W A Y

It was early morning, me and Chance were heading out to the beach cliffs to see if we could find any cool things there, but only if we knew what would happen. So on it took us a long time until we could find a good spot to look for something interesting, until 3 teen kiamaras came storming over, "What are you doing here brat" he said in a mean tone, the other two of them where snarling at us, Chance shivered a bit but was being brave, "we came to look for something cool" and that was a mistake one way or the other because I assume that big bully was trying to tell us, 'run off' and expected us to do that, but hey, we where just kids and had no idea, but even then I couldn't believe how we got ourselves into this so fast, later, those big mean teen kiamara's had put me on a small wooden boat, and I went a float, no one could do anything, I only had a choice. I started to panic when the tiny boat was so far away I could hardly see the sand off the beach horizon, there was a paddle, I tried to lift that and row all the way back, but after only a while paddling it was too heavy and it fell to the bottom of the ocean. For hours I sat in the hot sun, hoping the boat will slowly drift its way to shore, but I was getting sun burns, so I only had one last option that I could think reasonable of, though it may not work I have to give it a try, so I broke a massive peice of the boat bigger than myself and threw it down on the water as it splashed, then I slowly from the boat to the board got my balance on it, then paddled on with my little legs. When I got so close that I could see Brianna and Chance, I called over "I'm here!" they both turned around, smiled and waved at me, jumping up and down, waiting until I paddled a while further, but out of no where, a huge current has passed and drew me further, but then, it also made a huge wave! It was coming closer and closer, I kept looking at the wave, then them, and then the wave again, their smiled and waves faded as they watched, we all knew if that wave it me like that, I would be tossed in the air and badly injured, and just as the wave was an inch away I shut my eyes and leaped on the wooden board, I hoped it would at least draw me back to the water and float, but when I opened my eyes, I was riding the wave! I was actually surfing! it was so amazing I felt like the water was alive, I have never forgotten that day, not a second of it.

R E U N I T E D

My days as a child are over and I am now an adult, as you know I work as a Lifeguard at the same beach I first surfed, I am very much into the new surf competitions and I throw the weekend night parties here and there, and so one day, I was on duty, watching over as everyone played in the sun and diving into the water, and thats the time I also nearly lost my job, because I had fallen asleep on the tall chair, and only woke up when I have heard a familiar voice calling for help, I rushed over to the motorboat and quickly headed to the kiamara who had fallen out of a boat far out in the sea. I kept pulling on the lever to go faster and faster, the sea spray was whipping in my face but I was still focused on the direction, when I got to him, I realized it was Chance! I quickly pulled him up and aboard, and when we got back to shore we bro fisted and had a nice long talk all about so many things as if we just couldn't stop,at last we eventually had to say good bye, "Ok well, I'll see you around" said Chance as he waved away. Who knows what the future might lay ahead...

she will sometimes use ideas from movies to get her out of sticky situations.

As a dreamer, Kai often lives with her head in the clouds, but alas,
walking with your head to the sky means you tend to trip a lot. Kai
is still learning the ways of the world, and as such makes many mistakes.
Luckily for her, a few bumps in the road rarely bring her down for very long,
and before you know it Kai is soaring through the stars again.
