His favorite food and why: Bread. More precisely, soft white bread with raisins and nuts inside it. It's a rare treat, but the occasional human camper/visitor often brings bread along. Wolverine loves raisin-and-nut bread because of its usually soft texture and the thin, sweet crust. When he bites into it, raisins add a lovely sweet flavor to the bread and nuts top it all off with their fragrance and slight sweet-saltiness. Just one slice of this fills Wolverine's stomach and he'd be left satisfied, sleepy and happy. Friends like to approach him after he eats 'till his tummy bulges, because he is more likely to be quick-tempered, impatient and snappy if his hunger is not sated. Like they always say, a hungry man (or in Wolverine's case, equid) is a crabby man.

His favorite food and why: Cherries. Sandstorm, strangely enough, has always had a liking towards.the small, red fruit. The sweet juices, and the way they change color. It started when he was a colt. He was exploring one day, and found a tree, just a plain, boring tree, yet he admired it's beauty, and the fact that it had managed to grow between rocks. He visited the tree whenever he was lonely, sad or angry. As the days passed, and the seasons changed to spring, the tree grew small blossoms that gradually changed into small fruits. Curious, he ate one, only to spit it out. As the fruits ripened, he tested them again, and was overjoyed as he discovered the sweet and juicy cherry.

His favorite food and why: Adonis loves watermelon, both the rind and the pulp. He finds it incredibly refreshing, especially on a hot day. He has quite a talent of wolfing down an entire melon, usually leaving a ridiculously sloppy mess behind. He doesn't find them very often, but when he does, he certainly tries to savor it, chewing slowly on the first bite before giving up and practically inhaling it.

To top it off there is an edible 23-carat gold leaf on top. Vincent dreams of eating this treat because he likes to think of himself as very fancy and classy. He would also love to impress the ladies with it; he has trouble with the mares as they tend to stay away from his obnoxious condescending self.

His favorite food and why: Rockefeller's favorite food is green beans. When he was young, there was a wild patch of them that would grow every summer. He never started to eat them until one summer when he was dared to try one of the strange plants. Unable to back down from a dare, he accepted the challenge and took a bite. It was crunchy, sweet, and the best thing he'd ever eaten. After that, he was always sneaking away to eat more-And it usually landed him in trouble, since he wasn't supposed to run off on his own. He grew up, though, and left his homeland in search of a family of his own, and to this day whenever he encounters a patch of wild green beans, Rockefeller can't help but eat up every last one.
