What is a JBD?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Name Meaning:
Ruebi is simply an alternate spelling of the word Ruby: a precious stone consisting of corundum in color varieties varying from deep crimson or purple to pale rose. Though when she was born, her mother called Ruebi her special little gem as both of her parents worked as jewelry makers. Only later did they decide to name their special little gem after their favorite gem.

Ruebi's accessory is a scarf woven from actual spider silk.



Accessory meaning:
Since she was a tiny baby bean, she's had a fascination with spider webs. So much so, that as shes grew older she developed a very special serum that makes the gossamer strings far less sticky and much stronger so that she can weave the strands like any other thread. The special thing about this particular scarf is that it was the very first one she made, with the help of her mother, and is adorned with a jeweled spider clasp that was made by her father for her mother as a sort of wedding ring. Her mother passed the clasp down to her soon after her fathers death as a memento of the love from which she was born.

I just love the show doctor who. So when I saw this little girl
with her sassy devious grin she instantly reminded me of
an episode with this black widow spider queen who is trying
to set her people free from within the earth.
Unfortunately that would mean destroying the world and
eating all of the human race but you know a spiders gotta do
what a spiders gotta do. \uwu/
So the name Sarah Parish is derived from the actor that
played the empress. And to keep her name a little "spider-ish"
and similar to the black widow, which is viewed as the queen of spiders,
I decided that she would act like a queen
and force other beans to call her Empress Racnoss.
