Personality:
Damon often immediately comes across as a sullen character. He's not the cheeriest of JBDs, and is believed to suffer from minor depression. He rarely ever expresses his emotions, instead bottling them up inside him and putting on a façade. He hates to show weakness in front of others, and because of this his face is always near stony, never giving away a single thought inside. He has never been seen to smile, though rumour has it he once did. But now, the only thing that slips through his façade to be revealed to the world is anger, causing the loss of many potential friends. His almost expressionless face hides many truths and lies behind it, and he has never been known to reveal himself to anyone, and probably never will, making the thought for a potential mate or even girlfriend harder to comprehend, and he struggles finding friends as it is. Those that he is friends with have more of a love-hate relationship with him, and vice versa. Because of his sullenness, and his inability to express love, [plus the slight belief of his minor depression] many rumours have been spread about him, though none have been near to the truth.

Damon is one known to have a dark, twisted sense of humour. What others find funny, he does not, though he knows he should. His sense of humour is what causes many other JBDs to be repulsed and/or disgusted, once again a factor that he is an outcast amongst his species, others including his longer legs and his seemingly stony outward appearance. And so, often he ends up having no-one with similarities to his own and becomes frustrated with the unfairness of it all. Silently, each night, he prays for the world to change and accept him for who he is; because although he tries, changing is harder than it seems. Henceforth, he prefers his own company to the JBDs of whom have outcasted him.

History:
The majority of Damon's history is unknown. Piecing together rumours give a slightly clearer outline of his history, but it is unknown whether all of it is true or not. When he was younger, he was known to be the cheeriest of the young beans, and always had a passion for creativity. Him and his parents shared a wonderful relationship, and their family was always known to be the cheeriest of the small group of JBDs. When he was near to seven, his height difference soon became apparent. His lankiness and slightly taller body size meant that he stood over most of the other beans. At this time of his life, it was wonderful, a welcome change for the small bean who got looked down to by others. However, when he reached fifteen, this height difference had become startlingly clear, as he was easily several inches above the others of his age. This cause him to be picked on by many of his age group, and he struggled to maintain the cheery outlook on life he once had. Soon, the teasing grew to be violence towards him, and he soon sought out more time by himself. It is believed at this time in his life is when he slipped into depression, but nothing is certain, as he won't speak of it. Soon his parents pretty much kicked him out, leaving the now seventeen year old to fend for himself. And he is still struggling to cope till this day.

[The reason I chose Kinn is for the meaning which it bears; gold. Giving him the quirk of enjoying shiny/bright objects I felt like I should connect it to his name somehow instead of a name with no connection whatsoever. ]

-The Glowing Forest-
There is a certain forest in the land that catches Kinn's attention quite a lot. During the day it seems like any other forest would be like, filled with thick trees and many woodland creatures. Even though it is truly a fun pace for him to visit during the day, he enjoys visiting during the night even more. When the sun sets and darkness fills the sky, everything seems quiet and the darkness seems to have put everyone to sleep by now. The forest has a special trait that Kinn seems to enjoy a lot; its population of peculiar mushrooms that glow a tint of blue when the night falls. It amazes him how when the time of day is close to pitch black, these "things" seem to produce their own glow to always stay in the light, never touching the darkness of the night. There are rumors that entering the forest in the night should be forbidden, due to folktales of a creature guarding the lights that protect the forest from ever being taken into the night's color.Since Kinn's curiosity can easily be triggered, and the fact that he does not believe in such silly stories, he visits the forest from time to time, never facing any predator or monster as the story states.When leaving the comfort of the glowing plants that clear up his vision from the tall dull trees, he leaves his dream catcher in a huddle of the mushrooms for a few moments before picking it up, seeing that the glow seemed to have grown onto the necklace its self for a short period of time, which gives Kinn the opportunity of returning to his home with a small light to guide his way.

Calm
Kinn is surprisingly not as hyper as other younger beans are, he can be very polite and knows when to stay silent or back away from arguments- well, at least most of them. Kinn may be calm most of the time but he can also be very playful, especially with those a lot younger than himself. He acts calm towards those older and shows respect, but that doesn't mean he has comments about some of them that would come out as rude if said out loud. Other then small beans, he tries to act normal without causing any problems to those around him. If something does go wrong, he will awkwardly scoot away from the situation if it is not a serious issue.

Social
Kinn does not mind walking up to others to take a chance at creating friends, though many times it can become an awkward situation for the person being created. You can say he is missing a part of his dignity, for he does not notice when awkward tensions are created and continues on as if everything is just the way it is. The only one that is recognizable to himself is confusing females for males and the other way around, which causes him to get whacked or yelled at. This does not happen often, but he tries to avoid gender confusion by listening to ever word they say if he cant notice their gender. Despite the weird introductions, becoming his friend is worth the surprise hello from the strangely tall dragon.

Klutz
This seems to be very normal say about him due to his long legs, but yes, Kinn is a huge klutz. Its not a surprise if you see him randomly tripping on a stroll. He seems to have tripped more often when walking then running though, since when running all movements are basically balanced while walking is at a slower pace, which he isn't used to. It catches others by surprised when they call him over and he's there in 2 seconds, but it is because he prefers running over walking. The only time he is seen walking is if he is with someone that isn't as fast as he is or if he is extremely tired. It is best not to trust him with carrying things from one place to another, because either way it'll be crushed or lost on the way to the destination.

Height
Due to his long front and hind legs, Kinn is always mistaken for being an adult, and it doesn't help that he acts mature as well.This does make others think of him in a great way though it confuses others on how in the word did he get that tall, while some of the little beans make up stories on how when he was little he got caught in a taffy stretcher machine.

Hoard
Kinn has a very bad habit of either collecting or staying near things that shine,glow, or are bright in general. He will take it into his collection if it is non owned or is gifted to him. If not, he will just admire it from afar, since he does not want to be known as a thief, which happens anyways.

Theft
Due to his fascination with bright objects, and his name being one of them, Kinn is always the first person someone thinks about when their jewelry or other bright trinkets are lost. Even though he has stated so many times in the past that he would never steal, some do not believe in what he states, even if they find their trinkets a day later, having nothing to do with Kinn's presence in the situation.

Height: At his shoulder blade, Len is approximately twenty seven inches tall. This makes him slightly taller than other Jellybeans his age, as this is taller than the average size of a male German Shepherd, yet also makes him smaller than Maned Wolves.
Weight: He is just shy of weighing fifty pounds, his weight is a few pounds over forty eight currently. This makes him seem bulky, but with his taller physique, it actually balances out pretty well.
Body Type: Len is pretty proportioned - or as much as he can be as he still grows - at the moment. His legs are just a tad longer than his body is, when not including the tail. He isn't bulky or muscular, but that does not mean he doesn't have definition beneath his rich pelt; his musculature is simply more rangy and sinewy, making it less obvious.
Nationality: He was born in Western Peru, but has since begun to wander from his birthplace.
Voice/Accent: To non-native speakers, it may not seem as though he has much different of an accent than the stereotypical Spanish speaker. However, there is a slightly unique tone that is common among those born and raised in Peru, one that is said to be influenced by native tribes like the Quechua. His English isn't perfect, but he has a strong grasp on the language and is always eager to further his knowledge. He loves to patrol through the savannah or any open plains really. The feeling of the golden sun warming his back and the grasses brushing up against his legs as he wanders never cease to soothe him. Sometimes, even when he has no particular task or goal in mind, Sandalio will expend some energy just to feel his paws skimming over warm dusty earth, the gentle brushing of tall fronds against his leg feathering, and the wind tickling through his mane. It is in doing this that he has found some of the coolest places - in his opinion - that lie near his family's jam.

Type of food: Human food - He absolutely loves the spiciness found in Asian food - Thai in particular. Natural food - Fruits in general are his favorite.
Food: Human food - Spicy crispy duck, he always looks for this when he is able to get Asian meals from a restaurant. Natural food - Len loves apples and grapes most out of all the fruits he's tasted.
Sweet: Human food - Popsicles mostly, as he loves the cool, refreshing flavors that almost all have. Natural food - Strawberries, when they're ripe he feels as though he has tasted a small slice of heaven.
Drink: Surprisingly enough, he prefers to just have water as he loves how refreshing it is and how it somehow manages to give him a boost when he's feeling sluggish.
Music Genre: He doesn't have any single genre he likes, he has at least one favorite song or artist from every genre it seems.
Band/Group: It's a toss up currently between America's groups Delta Rae and Pentatonix at the moment.
Artist: Selena, he loves her story - but not its unfortunate ending - and her music has always been lovely to him.

Book: Len doesn't have any specific book he loves, as he just loves to read. Some of his favorite books, though, would have to be the ones that involve showing the seven wonders of the world or depict great places to visit around the globe.

Personality
"Nothing can truly define an individual, as everything is constantly changing."

Sandalio is very much like water flowing in a river or grasses swaying in the wind. He is bends and flows with those around him, but does not let others influence or change who he is at heart. Able to adapt, he doesn't let sudden changes or alterations around him throw him off too much. However, if he finds an opinion of his is wrong - after having been given facts and researching the matter further - Len has no qualms about fixing his original beliefs and notions. Even though he often seems carefree and laidback, he has the makings of being an effective and wise leader; many have already turned to him to take the lead on both simple and complicated matters. He has a knack for knowing things, which some call intuition, and it doesn't hurt that he is decisive when action needs to be taken.
As if it is encoded in his DNA, Len is naturally curious and inquisitive. He loves to explore and to learn about the world around him - keeping the childlike wonder within him. From simple discoveries like that of a new color pattern on an insect to larger findings like ancient caverns or civilizations, every new thing he learns brings him a joy that he finds hard to find elsewhere. This is something he is quite open about, sharing his findings with others, his eyes alight with passion as he relays the fantastic discoveries. Len is also quite sociable, as he loves interacting with others. It doesn't matter to him whether its simply spending quiet time around one another or going on an adventure. Be it quality time with one or two individuals or amidst a larger group, he finds that being around others is both fun and soothing for the soul. As how could anyone hope to remain happy in life if they were forever to be solitary individuals. This not-quite grown bean finds that some of his best memories and inspiration has come from exploring and expanding his world and spending time in the company of others.
But all is not perfect with this fellow. He can be stubborn and a bit bull headed at times; when he wants to, he won't budge and will push as much as he can to prove whatever it is he feels he needs to. Sandalio is also fairly forgetful - sometimes his parents say that if his head wasn't attached to his body, he'd forget it. Dates are the worst for him to remember, but he also tends to forget something when he's trying to multitask; case and point - if he were asked to watch the younger beans in the jam while he was devising up a story, he would respond as if he heard the question but wouldn't have really processed the statement. When he was younger, he was thought to have short-term memory loss or ADD, but it is simply that his mind can truly only focus on a single task at a time. With his long legs, Len can also be somewhat of a klutz, but now that he's had nineteen years to get used to them, he trips less often than he once had.

If I were to win this bean I would name him Enden but he is also called prince since he has such a mysterious aura someone said he was of royal blood and once that got around next thing you know everyone was calling him prince Enden finds this extremely awkward but thats not saying much due to the fact that he thinks everything is awkward and he's more than a little shy.

Quirrel always says it doesn't matter where you start as long as you start somewhere so I'll start at the beginning the very beginning Mom was beautiful i sometimes like to pretend she was a queen but thats all i can remember Dad ran off before i had a chance to meet him i had one sister who was stillbirth so was i or at least thats what my parents thought that was when Dad ran off apparently were i lived when someone died they would lay them out for ravens to eat i think it was ceremonious or something so they painted me and my sibling's coats with white ash and lay us down in a field of tall dry grass as we waited for the ravens to come and peck out our eyeballs the mourners watched as the ebony birds circled and landed on us like a giant black suit made of feathers that covered are faces and our paws and everywhere else eventually someone pointed out something peculiar they weren't actually eating us they were just sitting there looking miserable and sent someone to check it out

when i woke up it was very bright i blinked in the stark white glare quickly my eyes adjusted to the light a saw a female bean standing over my with a worried expression on her face who could have only been my mother she was beautiful and i know you probably think I'm only saying this because she was my mother but in fact she really was beautiful but now no matter how hard i try i cant remember it which i think scares me a little bit i heard voices arguing in a language i couldn't understand finally the voices stopped as though they had come to a decision they packed me up and took me away today i can still hear her frantic cries that even though i could not understand i know meant "Don't take my son!" slowly my eyes closed and i fell unconscious once more

Were ever they had taken me it was dark and not dark like a room with no windows or lights and not dark like a deep hole dark like the night sky if there were no stars and moon a seemingly endless void of pitch black nothingness i began to cry the hot tears ran down my cold clammy face leaving stains in my fur tears spattered on the ground like raindrops

i could not hear through my tears but there was a noise that sounded like claws clicking on stone then i heard another noise that sort of sounded like a hiss and sort of sounded like a human or another beans voice "what is a child such as yourself doing here? shouldn't you be were ever what ever you ares live? this is a dangerous place for your kind." "i-i didn't mean nothing by it..." i breathed a tiny jet of flame to start a fire so i could see the speaker it looked like a cat with the face of a man or a man with everything from a cat except the face i couldn't tell

"Woah! Watch it! thats bright!" it shielded it's face with its paw "s-sorry i didn't mean nothing by it..." i stammered "w-what are you?" "stop saying that! and how am i supposed to know?! what are you?" "w-well i don't know..." i felt like this conversation wasn't going anywhere "uh... were am i?" "oh... i was hoping you might know..." it said doubtfully "a cave?' i suggested "sounds accurate." it hissed staring into the amber colored fire "d-do you have a name?'' i asked desperately trying change the subject to something that wouldn't make him upset "Quirrel" it said blandly still looking into the flames "do you have one?" "naw..." "yeah names are overrated" "what's the matter, Quirrel you look upset." i was becoming more comfortable speaking with this creature "just thinking thats all..." "about what?" i asked curiously "how do i get out of here?" he replied looking up for the first time his golden eyes glistened in the firelight i didn't know what to say and was taken aback at this sudden question before he had seemed so brave and proud and confident in himself i was scared and he must have noticed because he started singing it was so beautiful i never wanted him to stop "hush, child rest your head your tired eyes and my my quiet lullabies will carry you safe to sleep..." but that was all i heard because i fell asleep then

when i woke i was curled up around Quirrel who was still asleep but were were we? it wasn't dark anymore in a forest next to a tree a very big tree a giant tree in fact and at its foot a babbling brook i stepped inside inside a hole at its base i was in a large empty room entirely made of wood then i realized i was home at last.
