These are cat / lizard like animals with some lion features.
The species' name is pronounced See-zurds.
They can be normal (without any wings or horns or anything really) or air-type ~for now anyways~. Earth Cizards cannot be outran by any other species, often racing with each other to see who's faster. As for the air ones, the fewer the markings on their bodies, the stronger their wings are.
They call each other by dropping small crystals from their manes into holes or caves. When the diamonds hit the walls they create a kind of a howl mixed with music sound. ( Horse65478's idea )

Its body is made entirely of crystals and it doesn't make any specific sound, but as one moves a diamond-against-diamond noise can be heard. These creatures are active only at night, and brightly coloured individuals like the example above are very rare.
No white, black or gray Cizards are known to exist.
