Ok hmmm well I'm a purple Jelly Bean Dragon.
My little crop of hair on my head is a light shade of black with,
as Cecil puts it, "dignified touch of gray at the temples".
I have a strong, square jaw and teeth and as Cecil puts,
again, "like a military cemetery".
I'm about 5'8.3" or Five feet and eight inches at the shoulder.
My eyes.
Oh my beautiful eyes.
My eyes are quite unique as my pupil actually is in the form of a
crescent moon rather than just a simple circle.

I'm Leroy.
I am gay who, and don't tell this to Cecil
but has a crush on Carlos.
Though I respect Cecil's relationship with him
and let my feeling be nothing other than just thoughts.
I do work at the radio station as an intern for Cecil.
I have actually been working there with Cecil before we started
the radio show as now called Welcome to Night Vale.
Me and Cecil have been friends for probably about 3 years
before the show started.
Besides working with Cecil on the show in my spare time I
am an artist.
I love to take my blank canvas and my oil paints and I'll sit out
in the desert and paint the sunrises.
I paint sunrises the most because it's before work and it's when
the secret police aren't scoring the desert.
But yeah.... other than that my life isn't really that interesting.

I just wanted to say I know that my art isn't the best cause all I have is Oekaki.
I don't have all those fancy programs cause I can't afford them.
And between school and real life I didn't have any time to make a lot of art.

{ Who am I? I am Carlos Vallenocte.

I am a scientist with glorious hair, and I am not afraid to study my closest of friends.


I am what one could call... curious, though I think of it as inquisitive. I can be a bit... vain and self absorbed, but who isn't? Especially when you are as fabulous as I am, it's hard not to be a bit self absorbed and vain. Keep in mind that I can be quite serious when needed, especially when working. Science is not a game, but it can be full or twists and tricks. Science is mysterious, much like the glow cloud. I, too, am mysterious. I can also be strong and ferocious like a gang of dogs.

Sometimes, my mood is influenced by weather or air quality. Say, if the air quality is mauve and speckled... chances are I won't be especially cheery. Especially if there are locust swarms, I simply cannot stand those insects. Locusts are only one of the many things I cannot stand, but one of the main ones, one of the others being street cleaners.

I like several things, such as sorrow songs and the night. My favorite color is purple, which is nice, considering the fact that I am purple. Purple is a very beautiful color, along with blue. However, I prefer purple and always will.

I have a soft spot for deserts, especially if they have towns within them. I once lived in a desert town, though it was only for a little while.

Fears? Ah, I suffer from but one fear. That fear, oh that fear is the ever cold
and gripping embrace of death. It's called thanatophobia, quite the name,
yes? Death is a horrifying thing that hunts down all of us. You may be a hooded
figure, an Apache tracker, an Eternal Scout, or even a radio host. No matter
what, death will hunt you down.

I'm sorry, it seems that I cannot remember anything from before the weather. I may be suffering from short term memory loss... again. Anyways, I just received a call from... them. No, not the sheriff's secret police, but only the most gorgeous Jelly Bean Dragon, even more gorgeous than me. It was an accidental call, but I don't think so. Oh, if
only we could be together...

Anyways, it seems that those dreaded street cleaners have returned. I suggest
barricading yourself into wherever you are, or else you will regret it. Regrets
just bear us down... regrets just bear us down.

Now, let me tell you a short story. The story of the cursed barber, Telly. One
day, seeing as I thought my hair was starting to get a bit... unruly, I decided
to get a slight trim. I, of course, went to a barber shop, and Telly was the one
who was cutting my hair. I closed my eyes, and I must have drifted off to sleep,
for when I woke up, my glorious locks were gone! I saw my hair upon the ground
and a fit of rage nearly came over me. Luckily, I knew it would grow back, so I
paid and left. Then, I took a blood oath to never get my hair cut by Telly again.

Ah, it seems that our time has come to an end. Station management seem to be
making quite a bit of noise so it's best that I say goodnight.
