What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Charmeine is a beautiful name simply meaning "angel of harmony". There isn't a name to fit her better for she is the one who brings harmony to the earth in its greatest place of tension; where the earth meets the sky. She is always the one to bring peace to the land and the air.
Why this Mutato loves clouds;;
Charm has always been absolutely awed by clouds, their nature a beautiful harmony; just like her existence. Clouds are the perfect child of the earth and the sky, a part of the world peacefully becoming part of the air and coming back again, making life possible for those below.

I chose it because I think he likes to dance between the clouds, to fly around them so they form animals or something, he is the one who makes the clouds look like animals or things ^^.

He likes them because he likes to play with them, because he is an artist who makes "cloudart" and because he can hide between them when he is flying when it is dusk or dawn so his cloudart-fans do not find him.

Hello there, my name is Amyee498, but you can call me Amy or Amyee if you prefer. Aims is okay too... I would like, no love, this Mutato to be a buddy for my only existing one, Mondae.

Yeah, I'm bored here. There are plenty of other adoptables to keep me company, but none are of my species. Amy talks about Christine A LOT by the way. I fear she might neglect me if she gets Christine... Then I think of how nice she has been to me and I ignore the thought.

☀ What's Your Reason? ☀
There is a type of clouds that looks particularly fluffy and they are called cumulus mediocris. The first part of Christine sounds awfully like cris, doesn't it? Well, that's how I came up with that name.

☆ Why Does She Like Clouds So Much? ☆

They are so poofy and fluffy! What? You want more details? Okie dokie! Uh... They're very pretty when the sun sets and dyes them with fiery colors. They come in so many different shapes and sizes, some of them very... Interesting. Watching the clouds drift along is my absolute favorite pastime... I mean, how could spending a day watching something like this sound boring? I went into the trouble of getting you a picture. Do you know how hard it is doing that with these paws..?



I also like flying through them. The strange sensation is a wonderful feeling. I spend hours doing just that every single day and I never get bored. You see, clouds are part of my daily schedule:

• 7:30............ Wake up and make my bed(I sleep in the clouds)
• 7:45............ Eat my breakfast, which consists of cereal, marshmallows and milk(I never eat eggs, I think they taste horrible. I do eat pancakes and bacon sometimes though)
• 8:30............ Go on my morning flight while admiring the fading sunrise.
• 9:30............ Spend some quality time with my friends and family(sometimes I accidentally annoy them by rambling on and on about clouds *sigh*)
• 11:15............ Make lunch.
• 12:00............ Eat lunch(normally, I have chicken noodle soup)
• 1:00............ Daydream about the wonderfulness of the best thing in my life, clouds.
• 3:00............ Go down to Earth and land on a grassy hill. Lie down and stare at the clouds from below.
• 4:00............ Fly in loop-de-loops through clouds.
• 5:00............ Paint a picture of today's clouds. If I have time, I also write a story.
• 6:15............ Make dinner(normally organic mushrooms stuffed with cheese and clouds. With some broccoli to go with it. I always eat my veggies. I never eat potatoes though. When I have dessert, I like cotton candy.)
• 7:30............ Eat dinner.
• 8:00............ Watch the beautiful sunset, where the clouds turn blood red.
• 8:30............ Watch as the stars begin to appear.
• 9:30............ Go to bed on the fluffiest cloud I can find.

Story

This is the story of my serious side. Hey, stop laughing! I do have a serious side. Ugh, no I'm NOT joking! I'm not all fun ya know... If you would just let me tell this story, then you'll understand... My life wasn't always like this, so perfect.
I was still a potato when this horror began. It lasted till my 2nd year as a true Mutato. The horror was... Horrific. It was known by the name of.... P..p..pp
Yes, I know I'm stuttering. That's because it's so horrible I don't want to say it's name! Now will you stop interrupting and let me finish the story? Thank you.
Anyhow, po.. llu..tion. Pollution. The horror went by the name of pollution.
See, you're interrupting, yet again. Please kindly shut your mouth or I will kick you out. And yes, pollution is horrible. If you would ONLY let me finish...
Anyhow, I was a potato. I didn't have much intelligence, as I was a potato. I still could process basic information though. The change was gradual, but I still noticed it. The soil was getting... Bad is the only way to describe it. At first I didn't know what on earth was the cause, but after much pondering, I realized it was pollution. I chatted, as much as a potato could, to the other potatoes. They said they noticed the same change. Our roots were soon tingling with pain. The fertilizer that the humans spread I to the soil that was supposed to make us grow better were really killing us. I would of sworn I would rot right there and then! I despised humans for ruining part of my life. I survived, thankfully.
Yes, I know I would have to survive In order to tell this story. But for all you know, you could be dreaming all this up! You will have to wait till the end of the story for me to tell you if it's all real or not.
It got so bad, one day, while a harvest mouse was nibbling around my leaves, a certain amount of U.V. Radiation and the coincidence that the mouse was nearby, I miraculously turned into the species now known as the Mutato. At first, my newfound legs, arms, and paws were clumsy. But it was better than having no arms or legs at all. I felt the tiniest bit of reluctant gratitude towards the human race. After all, I did get to be a Mutato, right? But the tiny speck of gratitude disappeared. Their pollution got so bad that I was forced to live amongst the clouds. I vowed revenge. The day came when I realized, I loved these clouds. My hate for the humans dimished slightly... I finally realized, no matter what I did, humans would be what they were. They would just have to figure out for themselves what they were doing to our planet.
And that, is the end of my story. I know, there isn't tragedy or romance or any action. Anyhow, you AREN'T dreaming and this is real. The end. Now go to bed.

This isn't part of my extra, but I just needed to say, I am in love with this gal. She is my dream Mutato and I will do absolutely anything for her. Anything. I'll give my heart and soul for her if I could. But sadly, I can't. Actually, here's my heart: ❤ I don't know how to give my soul though... *20 hours later* Ow... In the musical Les Miserables, there was a girl who sang a beautiful song titled "Castle on a Cloud" and I would have this Mutato's personality slightly based off of the older version of that girl, kind and caring though understands hardships and a life without love.

+Why does this Mutato love clouds
The clouds are Cosette's escape from the world below, she wishes to see a world at peace though knows such cannot happen. She feels comforted by the clouds and feels as of they are one of the few things she can call safe.
