Username:: The name is Glass. I currently own no kiamaras, but I hope to win one shortly. I know that lots of non-owners and owners alike will be getting kiamaras because of the event, but I've decided that it's better to win a kia by putting effort into a form, not taking five seconds to fill out a form for a raffle ticket or whatever. (Not basking the art competition- those people did earn those prizes, and my feelings on that don't need to be here) Anyway, I'll just try my best, I hope this guy/gal can be mine one day!
Kias name:: It took me a while to figure out this here boy's name. I know that you thought him to be simple; I personally have no idea what you're talking about. He reminded me of so many things; heat, sunsets, deserts, dryness. I was originally going to call him Desert Dryness, but it didn't sound good to me; more MLP. After some thinking (I know, shocker!), I also thought he looked a bit hazy to me. Then it clicked; I would name him Haze! After looking the definition up on Google, I discovered, well I verified, that haze meant "dust, smoke, and vapor that diminishes visibility." The name had a bit in common with dryness and the desert, which I liked. The perfect name, Haze, for the perfect boy!

Username: I am Doom Paws. I'm currently also going for Kia 333 and Kia 326, and I thought I would try for this cutie too! owo

Kias name: I think Kiko would be a good name.

Personality: Kiko is always wanting to make friends. He often makes up stories, to try to make his friends laugh. Of course, he works at a party supplies store.

A random story about nothing ( To make you laugh! ) : *WARNING! VERY random!* Once there was a dog that pooped rainbows and lollipops. He wrote a book about 'How to make cotton candy scars for smart people'. Then a Pikachu ate it. The apple exploded. "DINOSAURS GO RAWR!!!" Sang a fluffy pony named Bob. Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. said, "FIRESTAR DOESN'T LIKE WAFFLESSSS!" They had an ancient dragon party called 'Catch the hairball'. We all barfed rainbows out of our pants as we yelled 'PIKACHUUUUUU!'. The end.

Username: Vellamore

Kia's name: I've decided that if I were to win, I'd name this guy Bridger. It's a name of English origin with no real meaning other than "builder of bridges," but that isn't why I chose it. I thought it sounded very simple and easy, but at the same time, elegant. I think such a name suits his design well, and goes perfectly with the type of personality I envision for him!


Hobby: Bridger's main hobby is collecting leaves. Of course, leaves don't last forever, so he has his own unique way of collecting them. Instead of keeping the actual leaf, Bridger will gather up a pile of leaves he likes, and either draw them, paint them, or photograph them so he can preserve them forever the way they are right now. As you can assume, his favorite season is autumn, when all the trees shed their leaves and explode in what he would describe as "an extravagant display of color and change." He is absolutely astounded by all the different possibilities of colors the leaves can become, and will sit for hours marveling at the day's additions to his collection. Sometimes, Bridger will tie a few particularly gorgeous leaves on the end of his tail, or stick them in his hair, but he only tends to keep them for a day or two before replacing them, as their colors begin to change and they start to crumble.

Flaws: I thought this would be an interesting category to do-- it isn't quite a personality, but it does show a little bit of who he is in my mind!
⚫ Bridger tends to be quite absent-minded. Any number of distractions can take over his thoughts at any time, and cause him to have difficulty focusing on one thing for very long. The short attention span he had as a child hasn't grown to maintain a larger capacity, the way it has in the others of his kind. This tends to be slightly off-putting to anyone who tries to talk with him, and results in him being by himself most of the time.
⚫ He is also known to be cowardly at times. Bugs in particular have always bothered him; he doesn't like the sound or feeling of squishing them, but is equally uncomfortable having them touch him or crawl around on him. His technique when faced with a dangerous or frightening situation is to avoid it. This reaction has been the cause of a lot of teasing in his youth which has followed him into adulthood, and also occasionally hinders his ability to pursue the things he enjoys.
⚫ Bridger is always grumpy when he first wakes up. He takes a while to wake up fully, and until that time, he pretty much rolls around in a little grumpy ball of mush and grumbles at everyone and everything. This only really becomes an issue when he is woken up by someone who doesn't know him well, however; they seem to take his rotten attitude personally. He just likes to take his time and get up on his own, though, that's all.

Why I want him: Firstly I figure I should point out that I am a very orderly, pattern-oriented person even with my characters. With Kiamaras in particular, I have a certain theme going. All my Kiamaras have names that begin with the letter B-- So far, I have Blondie and Bluebell. The second part of my theme is that each one represents a different season. Blondie is my winter kiamara. Bluebell is my spring kiamara. If I were to win Bridger, he would be my third, and he would also be my autumn kiamara. I have been on the search for my third kia for a little while now, and I believe this guy could be it! The color palette is gorgeous, and very much reminds me of how the trees around town look toward the end of the fall season, when they begin to turn more golden and brown and lose some of their vibrancy. The simplicity of the design is strikingly handsome as well, and paired with the muted colors, he would be the perfect little autumn kia.

Aurielle Evalynn [awe-ree-YELL Evv-ell-inn]
Aurielle's name is quite a different one. It is derived from the name 'Ariel', meaning 'Lion of God' in Hebrew. Her full name is Aurielle Evalynn, just a name that her mother thought up for her on the spot when she was born. As for nicknames, Aurielle always wants to be called Auri. She detests her full name because it makes her sound like a graceful lady- which she is, she just doesn't want to admit it. Auri loves getting nicknames, no matter how derogitory they are.

Don't call Auri a male. Just don't. Seriously, you'll regret it, and be called an 'it' for the rest of your life.
Jk, but if you think she's a male, I would understand. She's the type of kia that could be distiguished as both ^^ As for sexuality, Auri is bisexual, meaning she is attracted to both male and females. She tends to lean more toward males, though.

My first extra is a lullaby that her mother used to sing to Auri before she left her. It is always in her mind, and she normally sings herself to sleep with it.

My second extra for Auri is a page from her scrapbook. It contains things from her everyday life, and a few inscriptions from her. She likes keeping a scrapbook because it lets her go back and remember the days that might've been better, or not as great. Remembering is increadably important to Auri, as she thinks that losing things is a crime to herself.

[So, what is your family like?]
Family… well, that’s a hard question. Never knew my father, he was a bit of a hit-and-run kinda guy, from what my mom told me. My mother was a beautiful kia, perfect in every way. Left me on my own when I was old enough, though. Never had any siblings, even though I begged my mother for them for Christmas!
[How uplifting. What about friends?]
Well, it’s taken me a long time to settle in to all the kias around me, so I only have a few. Zach, Namid, and Lyde are probably the three I trust most. Zach is so sweet, always willing to listen, he’s an amazing friend so far. Namid has been really welcoming, and Lyde has just been hilarious!
[Any crushes?]
No! I hardly have friends, let alone a boyfriend!
[It sounds like you just moved here. Where are you from?]
Well, I grew up on a very remote beach. Unlike a lot of kias, I love the water! Me and my mom were all by ourselves, and I loved the seclusion. I didn’t like having to clean the sand out of my pelt every night, though. When she left me, we said our goodbyes, and I came here… god lord, I think I’m gonna cry….
[Er, sorry about that. What about personal likes?]
I am a photographer at heart. Growing up, I never knew that you could freeze one moment in time forever, and when I figured out that I could, I went insane! You should’ve seen the number of disposable cameras I went through in a week. Actually, just be glad you didn’t.
[Dreams? Fears?]
Dreams? Well, to get a camera other than a disposable. Just kidding, I’d love to be able to take an amazing photo- something no one will believe that I took without photoshop or something. I think it’s an achievable dream, do you? As for fears, promise not to tell anyone? Well, crowds scare me. Since I was on my own for so many years, that kinda changed me.

Well, a little secret about me, I am a huge musical theater nerd. My favorite songs are ‘Do you hear the people sing?’ from Les Miserables, and ‘This is the moment’ from Jekyll and Hyde the musical.
