~The Antlered Guardians of Destera~

An Antlered Guardian of Destera is an antlered big cat species that live in the mountains and unmarked snow plains of Russia. They have tufts that run along their spine, from the back of their elbows and ankles, and from the back of their knees to their ankles. Their diet consists of any type of meat that runs along their territory. They are a pride species, but most of them are found to be loners until they come across a pride. They are very aggressive when humans come onto their lands, but will you win their trust and heart?

This one, my first AGD as an artist, was based off a Goldfinch (I used a different colour pallete), one of my favourite species which visits my garden on a daily basis:

Name: Naima
-It means tranquil in Arabic

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Personality: Similar to the origin of her name, Naima is very calm and laid back. She spends a majority of her time sleeping. When not asleep she likes to push snow around with her muzzle into a pile and roll around in it. She is protective over her area if she finds a threat and has no problem fighting when needed.
She loves the snow and water, especially when the nearby lake freezes over. Despite her lack of balance on the ice, she enjoys sliding on her belly across it.

History: Naima's bad habit of sleeping the day away cause her trouble when she was younger. While the rest of her pack would be off hunting or scouting the surrounding area, she could be found curled up in a ball. Her mother could only do so much to try and make her active like the other cubs.
During a hunt, Naima yet again fell asleep when the rest of the pack went to get supper. It started to snow before they returned, and completely covered her in a blanket of white. Her mother was frantic when she couldn't find her and the pack separated to find the lost cub. When Naima finally woke up, she found her pack missing. She wandered off on her own to see if she could find them and wound up lost. Her sense of direction was terrible and lead her farther and farther from her pack.
Growing up without her mother or others to depend on was tough, but she managed to get by. She's not the best hunter and sometimes goes without a meal leaving her rather skinny. She hasn't strayed far from her territory, but hopes one day to rejoin her lost pack.

Other: Naima will eat just about anything she can find, but favors rabbit out of everything. She avoids deer if possible since they remind her of her kind.
