'Once in a Blue Moon' but she goes by Blue, due to the blue tinge of her coat. Occasionally she is called Luna, because of the moon marking next to her icy blue eyes.
Personality:
Stubborn, rebellious, sarcastic, vengeful, yet unpredictable sums Blue up in a few words. She's unpredictable, and sticks to the edge of everything, as she is a loner by nature. She's very stubborn, and loathes being told what to do, making her a rebel in her own sarcastic, quiet way. Blue does not trust easily, and if asked or told something she doesn't want to hear, she'll just glare at the one who asked in the first place before stalking away. If hurt, emotionally, mentally or physical, she will seek revenge. She's quite sly, and travels only at night, and sticks to the fringes of other herds and equines. If one gets to know her, you will discover that it's all just a facade she puts on so she doesn't appear weak. She's actually quite sweet and friendly if you get to know her, and won't complain if you ask her to do something, she'll do it just because she wants to please you. She keeps others in stitches of laughter with her witty remarks, and often does something silly if she feels the air is to tense. To make others laugh is one of her few goals in life.

In the midst of darkness, came the sound of thundering hoof beats
A single shadow, silhouetted in the light of the full moon,
With eyes as cold and blue as the Northern seas,
A rare mare, one with a coat that is envied,
One who travels at night, hidden in the shadows by day.
Seen by a few, Known by even less,
one who prefers the freedom of being wild and free
One who travels as only the moon and stars as her companion.
The silhouette comes closer, it's hooves quieter now that it knows it's been seen.
The sound of soft, quick breaths, and light footsteps,
And into the blueish hue of the moonlight, steps the equine.
In the rare occurrence of a blue moon, as she was named, the mare makes herself known.

Personality:
Artemis is kind and gentle, but she wasn't always this way. She once had a mean side... Now she enjoys a good prank every now and again, just so long as they don't go out of control. She particularly likes to scare her friends.

Artemis was walking through the jungle, her head drooped and she dragged her hooves. What's wrong with her? Why she was bored. Bored out of her mind! She let out a sigh and wondered what she would do that day. 'What are my friends doing today,' she wondered. Artemis looked up to see that she was near the favorite spot of one of her friends, a monkey by the name of Congo. A mischievous look appeared on the mare's face. She wanted to scare him. When she spotted Congo, she saw that he was laying on a branch of a large tree. The branch was low, and was surrounded by bushes, which created the perfect opportunity. Artemis quietly walked to the bushes and hid behind a large one. Congo was completely oblivious. Artemis knew the Congo was terrified of snakes. She reaches her tail up through the bushes and onto the branches, slowly mimicking the movement of a snake. She then made her tail strike and wrap around Congo before the poor monkey knew what happened. He screeched and fought what he believed to be a snake. Artemis was laughing so hard, she could not keep her tail moving and it dropped to the ground. It took Congo a minute to realize what happened, but when he did, he was hurt. She had pulled a mean prank on him. The young monkey began to cry. Artemis quit laughing immediately. She did not realize how much of a threat a snake would be to a small monkey like Congo. The Whipped Tail looked at her friend, "I'm sorry Congo." Eventually he forgave her, but only after she promised not to do mean pranks like that again. Now they often play pranks on each other, but both had to promise never to hurt each other again.

Personality: Neoma is a sweet, caring mare although she seems to act differently every night. During a quarter moon she is most likely to act normal, during a half moon she seems to act cranky and during a full moon she is silly and loves to prank others. On the rare occasions of an Eclipse or something else that oddly happens with the moon she acts even more strange then usual.
