Spotted Star

A beautiful girl


I have been roaming the universe, trying to find myself in a
long journey filled with trials and errors. My star upon my tail
glowing brighter and brighter every minute for my age will
forever increase. My quest is to one day find the star of hope.
This star will help me find my way back home to my mother
and father.

My mother found me drifting into a black hole when I was
just a puppy, so I was adopted but I am not upset to say
that. If she had not adopted me, I would have died. Who
says being adopted is bad?

One day they sent me out to find some food for the family
dinner, and then I fell asleep and I was lost. I have been
searching for the star of hope ever since.

"Whenever I find it, I shall find mother and father! I see it!"
I saw it in the distance, the brightest light I have ever seen.
The star of hope, as small as my paw was in arm's reach.
I looked into it, imagined mother and father, and soon
saw and image.

I saw them behind me, with a strange light in front of
me and I was looking into the light. I looked back and
saw mother and father, in the flesh. I ran over and
gave them a great big hug, and began to cry.

"Oh baby. I missed you so much. Let's get home,
then we can catch up on your travels." I nodded
and the star of hope teleported us back home.
