A sunflower seed's outer shell.
It may be worthless, but it has a meaning to him - it had almost killed him. He has a sunflower seed allergy, but he loves the seeds. His parents had totally stopped buying the seeds and anything that had it as an ingredient, so he keeps that one shell just to be able to get close to his one favourite food and remember it's taste, just by looking at it.

Lemon Meringue, I chose this name because of the bean's soft yellow creamy color and the delicious soft name. I think the tangy, tart essence of that name suits this bean well.



Female, I think this bean is more feminine that masculine.


Lemon's favorite keepsake memory, is a lemon charm bracelet. Lemon got this keepsake from her grandmother bean when she was just a wee little thing. Her charms are a lemon, lemon tart, lemon meringue cookie, lemon meringue pie, and lemonade. She wears it every day!

Favorite keepsake from childhood: a little seed from a long dead apple tree. As a child, he would play and sleep with his friends under the shade of the old apple tree. In spring, it produced the sweetest and biggest apples that would make everyone's eyes water when they see one. However, one day a freak storm up rooted the tree, making everyone devastated. Lemondrop is hoping that one day he would find a nice place to grow another tree like the one that died, and again dream to his hearts content under the shade of the new tree.

I didn't think that a single design could remind me both of a lemon popcicle and those interesting drawings of the man om the moon, so I combined the two to get 'Moonsicle.'

Favorite keepsake from childhood: His favorite keepsake is a small white pebble of quartz, something that he found one day while adventuring in the woods. He fell down a small well while 'adventuring', and this small pebble was the item that he threw over the lip pf the well to get the attention of those passing by. Mooncicle decided that he would then one carry the little piece of quartz wherever he went, as a token of good luck and a reminder to never get too full of yourself when adventuring.

Name: Kula - the design reminds me of summer & sunny days. That lead my thoughts to Hawaii. Kula is a district of Maui.

Favorite keepsake from childhood: Some of Kula's favorite memories of childhood are being read to at night. She still loves to read and her favorite keepsake is an old copy of the book "The Little Prince". She loves it because it is a story that has contined to be a favorite as she grows. She loved it when it was read to her and still loves it now that she reads it herself, but for different reasons. She likes how the same story can have different meanings as you get old enough to understand them.
