My username is fireflies., it sounds quite pretty does it not? xD I changed my username not very long ago at all, Air just didn't really seem to fit me anymore ; I got bored of it, to be honest and longed for a change. I chose fireflies because I've always been interested in the bugs ; it was almost like magic to me, really. Past usernames have been the most recent, Air, Black caviar, greenchickencurry and a few more that I can't be bothered naming. I guess my nickname could be fire or fly but currently, I have no nickname.

It's a bit odd isn't it, that I would name a creature like this, a hunter to some animals after it's prey. However, crickets are never prey to this girl, she protects them and it's the only animal that she refuses stubbornly to hunt ever. Why, well this reason is still unknown but she keeps many of them as pets, no, she doesn't feed them to anything but actually looks after them herself. Other beans stare at her because of this but it isn't at all as if Cricket cares in the least. Crickets, family Gryllidae (also known as "true crickets"), are insects somewhat related to grasshoppers, and more closely related to katydids or bush crickets (family Tettigoniidae) and Weta (families Anostostomatidae and Rhaphidophoridae). They have somewhat flattened bodies and long antennae. There are more than 900 species of crickets. They tend to be nocturnal and are often confused with grasshoppers because they have a similar body structure including jumping hind legs. Crickets are harmless to humans.

You'd have to be blind and possibly not the brightest person out there to think she is a male. She is graceful and elegant with a slender build and soft voice. She might be mildly insulted if you told her she looked like a male but would probably brush it off soon enough, finding it in her heart to forgive you. So let's sum this all up, shall we? Cricket is a female, likes being a female, would hate to be a male and it's unlikely impossible for her to change her gender in her lifetime.

Surprise surprise, it isn't at all a lie when Cricket sheepishly admit all the colours are her favourite colours. She finds each and every one of them special in it's own why, overlooking the cons only to see the pros. Blue is calm and cool, red burns with the hottest fire, yellow is bright and cheerful while black is dark and cold. Each lovely and full of mystery, each in different ways but it's there alright. So I guess you could say that 'rainbow' is her favourite colour if that word counts as all of them. xD
