What is a Lenarion?

Lenarions are large and dangerous beasts that resemble a kangaroo in build. They have long pointed ears with a small curl of fur at the tip. Their forepaws only have two long and seemingly delicate fingers with razor-sharp claws used for ripping and tearing. The beak that serves as their mouth is equipped with strong pincers that hold their prey tightly once caught, leaving almost no chance of escape. Lenarions are carnivorous and therefore only eat meat, preferring it raw. Their tail is thick and muscular, though it is used more for keeping them balanced while sitting. Lenarions never move about on all fours, hopping like their kangaroo counterparts instead.

About this Lenarion: she often finds herself gazing into the night sky...like she belongs there. Her mother told her she fell from a shooting star but she knows better than to believe that. She didn't fit in with her brothers and sisters and she often found herself dozing off while her siblings were playing. She is nocturnal and often finds herself alone during the day. She is nomadic and often never returns to a place once she has been there

About this Lenarion: Shy,sweet,thoughtful,caring...these are her most prominent features. She like to sit and watch the stars. She's settles down in a small,but cozy cave. She lined it with ferns,bracken,and assorted leaves. She doesn't often stay near other Lenarions. She actually prefers humans! She's aso extremely tame for a Lenarion,often leading non-Lenarions through the forest she lives in.

About this Lenarion:
Nova is nocturnal, having adapted to night-life after realising that his dark colouration put him at a severe disadvantage during the day when it came to locating and hunting prey. He finds it easier to rest in a make-shift den during the day when the hot sun is out and only comes out at dusk. As his dark fur also absorbs heat from the sun, it gives him another reason to avoid the day until it's cooler, however Nova has been known to come out during stormy or heavy weather when the sky is clouded over.

His nocturnal activity is most prominent during the warmer months when the days are longer, such as in the Spring and Summer. During the Winter he removes himself from his den to give himself a little bit longer in the search for prey, using every opportunity. Nova finds it exceedingly difficult to adjust if not given time, so being thrust from one routine to another is not ideal. Nova prefers to be alone for the great majority of time and if he happens to come across the scent of another Lenarion in or around his territory, he'll go on hunt to locate and remove them from the area. He's anti-social, fierce and protective, seldom taking pity on others... and rather selfish at that. Nova rarely forms any sort or long-term bond of attachment with another which has stemmed from his life of elective solitude. Anyone who forcefully attempts to offer their friendship or presence to this male will quite often find themselves being driven from his line of sight.

Needless to say, Nova doesn't care for friends. Never has, never will, though those lucky enough not to sustain injury from him on multiple occasions may be tolerated. Notably the only Lenarion he has ever spent time with are his siblings as a young joey and a past mate whom he once raised a clutch with for a short period of time. Since then Nova has not had any offspring due to his unfriendly tendencies and advances.

She often eats the insides of the animal and wears the furry skins. The bones line her den. She isn't one to adjust well,and is extremely shy about going outside of the forest. She also is extremely shy around most Lenarions. She also skins berries and uses the insides to 'paint'.
