But You my call me Res, Nessie, or Shame c:
She is currently located in Kennel #10
I just wanted a new charrie to order art for and write a story about. I already have a few ideas in mind.
Her name will be Monroe.
She will be a female. A pretty one she is.
She is a Border Collie/Canine.
Monroe is an outgoing and majestic fae. She loves to drop everything and watch the clouds or smell the roses. She is the kind of girl who remains loyal to all her friends and will do anything necessary to help them. She loves to ask questions on a subject she doesn't understand or explain the material to others. Whether it be carrying a book for someone to organizing a charity event, Monroe loves to help others. She is the one to go to when you're feeling down or when you need a good laugh. She loves to go up to strangers and ask them about their day. She is a very outgoing gal.
No history yet, she is a new charrie anyway

As I'm leaving tomorrow for about...a week and half (I think.. may be longer) and I just want to know if I'll have time after to complete my form. ^^
Not for another 2 weeks probably. ^^

I am merely searching for a character that I can use for art, roleplaying, story writing, and just someone that I can say represents me. Personally, I love studying an admiring other's OC's; I love the creativity portrayed in them, and the uniqueness of every single one. For all of my characters, I care and love for them like they were my children. I know that if I 'won' Kaia, I would create a huge poster of her, depicting her in all of her magesty. I would fully color it the best I could, using the proper shading, and adding every accessory. Let me just say that I feel a fondess for this canine. She is everything that I am searching for <3

I will keep her current name, Kaia. I think it sounds lovely and beautiful, and it really seems to suit her.
❀ღ❀ღ❀
Kaia will also remain a fae; a female. I just couldn't picture this beauty as a male.
❀ღ❀ღ❀
She will be an Ethiopian Wolf.
❀ღ❀ღ❀
Kaia is very quiet and shy, often nervous and jumpy in large crowds. If someone were to approach her, even to have a simple chat, she would be shocked to find that anyone would even want to come close to her. She can warm up though, if she trusts you, and loves you; her heart is very hard to capture, and her faith is unsteady, resulting in her insecure personality. Though to the ones she loves, she is always by their side. Never has she abandoned anyone before, and she swears not to. Beneath her hard shell, her heart is kind and open.
Kaia also has a love for beautiful things. She'll take nice, quiet walks by herself through a forest or wood, collecting pretty objects, or anything that catches her intrest or sparks her curiosity. Then, using her finds, she transforms them into eye-catching pieces of jewelery. She is a natural at it; oftentimes passerbys would stop to ask her if she is in buisiness with her craft, and humbly, she would turn them down, saying that she is not in it for the money, it's just something that she loves to do. Then of course, she will hurry on her way, being the shy one she is.

Kaia's history is not the brightest.
Her father, a large, strong brute, grew up in the rugged mountains. He was tough, even though he had a warm streak in him.
Her mother was with Kaia when this all happened. The snow was whirling, and she and her pup were beginning to freeze. Her heart wrenched with terror at the prospect of never getting out alive of this snow...never seeing her mate again...her daughter freezing to death...Shivering, she lied down on the snow, shoving her beloved child underneath of her to collect what little warmth she had left. She thought she was on her deathbed.
Along came her father. He was used to the harsh conditions of the mountains, so the violent wheather didn't faze him. Suddenly, he stumbled over a mound of snow, and growling in surprise, he whipped around to stare at it. His eyes widened with shock; he had not tripped over a drift, but a wolf. Concern for the poor creature wrenching his heart, he nosed away the snow from her back. She was a glowing brown fae; a pretty one at that, but her eyes were shut, and her breathing was shallow. His heart thumped wildly in his chest as realization hit him; it was his mate and their only child, Kaia, and he knew then that they needed warmth and shelter fast.
Grabbing her scruff in his jaws, he dragged her awkwardly through the blizzard, with Kaia stumbling after him. Narrowing his eyes against the howling wind, the surrounding trees swayed and groaned as the blizzard gained force. The fur was blown away from his face, and he shivered, but not from the sharp chill. He was terrified for the fae and the pup. He could feel their pelts becoming colder and colder.
Suddenly, he could see a blurred figure not far ahead; his heart raced with hope, and he quickened his pace. Finally, it could be seen clearly. It was a mountain, smaller than the others, though no less magestic. Hurrying up to it, still dragging his rescue, his eyes scoured the side for caves, crevices, anything they could use for shelter. There was none. The only areas that suggested protection from the raging snowstorm were ledges high up, much too high for the pair to get to.
Letting the fae drop, he licked her lightly on the head. Bundling Kaia up against her mother, he promised her that he would return, and to stay with her mother. She looked up at her father with fear-filled eyes, and nodded solemly. Her father then ran on a little way, desperatly searching the mountain for shelter. He could run faster without dragging her along with him, so perhaps he would find a refuge from the storm. Drawing farther and farther away from the weak female and the exhausted pup in search of shelter for them all, he felt his growing unease. He knew that he could not let them die. He would never forgive himself.
All the while the blizzard grew stronger, and now the brute was beginning to feel the chill. All of his pack would be heading inside their dens; even rugged mountain wolves needed shelter from the biting winds and tortorous temperatures.
Eventually, his legs felt like blocks of ice, and he knew that he could not continue. He hurried back, trembling at the prospect that he would find his family dead.
They were still there when he returned, but they were worse than when he left. Little Kaia was nuzzling her mother, her eyes full of terror and remorse. "She's dead," she whimpered as her father drew nearer. "Mother's gone."
Her father was stunned, and he hurried toward the fae, her fur cold as ice. "No," he murmured, his voice heart-breakingly laced with shock. "No, she can't be." He licked her, nosed her, all the while saying, "Don't worry, I'll protect you. Don't leave on me. You can't go."
Finally, he backed away from her still form, snow beginning to collect on her haunches. He faced Kaia, his eyes laden with depression. "We need to go, Kaia," he murmured sadly, the wind stirring his long fur. "We need to leave." Without protest, the pup allowed herself to be picked up by her scruff and carried away into the blizzard. The last thing that she saw was the deathly silent form of her mother, her body half-burried in the snow. Her long fur waved in the wind, and never again would Kaia see her smile, full of love and warmth.

The rain,
it is falling.
Just like the crystal tears
from my face.
The harsh winds are blowing,
Sweeping away everyone's fears,
except mine.
My necklace jangles
in the wind,
tossed and turned by the gales.
It shines and glitters
from the rain.
It is my last connection to my past.
The images of my parents
are blurry,
and I worry that they will fade
altogether.
But I hope against hope,
that the storms in my heart will clear away,
that the terror in my mind will leave,
and that my pain will lift,
just like this rainy day.
