Yes, another solid. Yes, It's early to have another one already. No, I don't really care.

ANYWAYS
To win him write a short story (whatever you think would be short.)
Bear in mind that I don't want to see 8 page stories because that's not short. And... I don't really feel like reading a bunch of long stories... But it won't really be judged on length anyways. But still, not too long.

Owner: Staz
Name: Baron "The snow Baron"
Age: 5 Years
Height: 20.1 hh
Story:
Wind whipped through his silken mane as he stood proudly atop the rock laden ledge, his feathered hooves halfway buried in compact snow. Baron's nostrils flailed as his ears pricked, listening above the howling winds for the nearly inaudible noise of a signal.
He was famous for being one of the only horses (if not the only horse) capable of being able to lead whole herds efficiently through the tundran wastelands that even most of his breed seemed incapable of passing. It was rumoured that a creature born with a pelt like his had been gifted by the norse god Odin the ability to feel no sensation of cold whatsoever. And it was true, he didn't feel any pain, or any cold.
However, while this may or may not have been a god given gift, it was because as a foal he'd suffered extensive nerve damage that disabled him from feeling sensation.

His thoughts were broken as a whicker was heard close by, the stallion turning his heavy head to look in the direction of the sound. Blurred by the over-pour of snow foggy forms could be seen approaching him, the male nearly emotionless as he came forward to meet the herd.
"So your finally here. I was worried you wouldn't have made it." said Baron loudly, making sure to be heard above the sound of the roaring wind torrent. The large bay lead stallion returned his comment with a smirk, "We'll be fine. Just please, get us across the rest of your territory safely, snow baron."

Name:
    Aristotle
His name is pronounced AR-ə-stah-təl and ER-ə-stah-təl works too. This name is divined from the Greek. It translates to "the best propose", "best of all", and "superior".

Age:
This big boy has seen a good amount of years, but is still in his prime at the age of six years old.

Height:
    20.1 hh

Story:
The storm was coming in. The wind whipped and cracked like a bull whip breaking the sound barrier. The snow fell heavenly thinking the air and fogging vision. This was not the best of all living conditions. It as freezing and only getting colder. Muffled through the blizzard was the sound of a mare giving birth to her son. He wasn't due until another two weeks. This catching his stubborn mother out in the blizzard alone. Two hours had pass since she was was induced into labor. Strong contractions after another. Finally the young colt made his way into the cold empty harsh world.

He stayed huddled against is mother for warmth. His breed was made for this cold place, but this blizzard was at record breaking temperature and the mother and newborn were alone with out the heard to help keep them warm. To make matters worse Aristotle was still wet and his coat became covered in crystals. If the storm did pass soon he was doomed. His heart rate began to slow. After countless harsh hours the blizzard finally pasted. His mother nudged at his still cold body. Her heart began to race fearing she had lost her first only child. But to her relief he picked his head up and touched his muzzle to her's. She could tell he was strong and meant for a greater goodness. She hadn't notice his un-spotted or marked coat. He was still covered in snow and ice. She lead him back to the herd. She found her mate and introduce him to his son. Everything was fine and dandy until she cleaned his fur. She was in shock at what she seen and his father was ferrous. He yelled at Aristotle's mother and claimed Aristotle wasn't his, because how could a no marked and albino be the son of a black pinto and dark coat mother also. His dad was ashamed and others in the herd frowned upon Aristotle's mother and wanted nothing to do with him. The two where banished. His mother named him knowing they were all wrong and one day her son would show them all he was the rightful son and the rightful heir of the herd.

And with that I wrap up this story for now. Hope you enjoyed reading and would wish to read more. Thank you for your time.
