What are Simaras?
Simaras are small wolf/cat creatures. The largest they can get is the size of a house cat, which is why some are mostly domestic. They are very friendly creatures, and extremely social, living in a pack of ten or more. Simaras live mostly in the tropical regions of the world, making their homes in bushes and some have even been found in trees. A Simara finds a mate and challenges others for dominancy by using their tails and claws, and sometimes horns. They don't mate for life, so they can mate with different Simaras, though they can mate only once every two weeks in our time. Their tails have guards on the sides of the crystal within it like a sword almost. The jewels on their tails are always the same color as their eyes. They glow at night, though the glow isn't visible in the day, most the time anyway. All Simaras are also covered in thick, fluffy fur that's soft to the touch.

A Simara can have two types of horns; stubby or long. It is not common for you to find them with horns, but its not completely uncommon to.

The marking on the hip; Aspen was born in a tribe of Simaras just like himself. Except, they lived in a forest of the strangest trees you could ever imagine. Aspen was named after one of the normal trees, but at birth a Shaman said he would be anything but normal. When he was in his child years, he discovered a tree that produced small, random pebbles. He had a hunch that he had needed to protect the tree. Aspen stayed with the tree his entire life, and one night, the tree came to life, burning an imprint on his hip that showed whoever walked past him that he oversaw for what he cared for most.

Three Personality Traits:
•Bashful- she is quiet at first prefering to listen before acting. She also doesn't like being the center of attention especially in large groups.
•Mysterious-like the moon Lunaris is mysterious. She is can appear and disappear in what seems the blink of an eye. Just the sight of this little sima can strike wonder into hearts.
•Independent- Lunaris has always been a stubborn one preferring to do things on her own rather than asking others for help.

The marking on her hip has to do with her birth. Lunaris's mother was always one to favor the moon over the sun. She loved coming out at night just to see the moon. At times she loved to speak to it considering it as more of a friend rather than an object floating up in the sky. While pregnant with Lunaris her mother was speaking to the moon one night as usual but something strange happened. A small twinkling glitter almost like moon dust fell from the sky and surrounded lunaris's mother. The dust surrounded her belly and seemed to absorb into her. The pregnancy went normal and a small sima was born. Strangely enough the baby had a moon mark on her side. Her mother swore it was a gift from the moon thus naming her Lunaris.

The marking on the hip: {Give me a story about it. is it part of a prophecy? tribal? etc.} When moon jewls mother, shimmering night, found out she was going to have pups/kits, she was so happy. Shimmering night snuck out one night to large Crystal in a cave that only she knew about, hidden by thick rambles and vines. She came to the Crystal to decide on a name for her pup/kit. The med simara simara determind determinate only had one baby. She went and sat by the Crystal and asked it to show her a name. The Crystal showed her a sparkling moon next to a beautiful jewl. Ahh, moon jewl, what a beautiful name, said shimmering night. But, before she could walk out of the cave, the Crystal lit up. It showed a beautiful blue-ish white and grey simara, with a moon and a jewl on her hip. The simara was sitting still, surrounded by other simaras. Suddenly a simara, with many other simaras behind him, burst through the bushes. The simaras who were si tting with the simara simara with the moon jewl marking bounced up. The other simaras ran and started to attack. The simara with the moon jewl pounced in between the simaras, she yelled something, then she started talking. Shimmering night could just make out the words she was saying. "Stop, we are all the same things, we really are one. Why must we fight, when we do we are only fisghting ourselves. We are all the same, just with different personalities." The simaras looked at each other then smiled. Shimmering night knew what the Crystal was showing her, her pup/kit would be a hero. Shimmering night looked out of the vines and looked to the stars. "I will take great care of this pup/kitm

Now, this competition was very hard for me to judge because each story was beautiful, and unique in some way. I just came to really love the story by Haru-chan, so you win! Take good care of Aspen :3
