"William" Josette Jäger
Her real name is Josette, but she disguises herself as a male for her line of work and began to go by the name "Dread Pirate William" therefore adopted the name William.  However, she still goes by Josette with those she can trust and it is still her name.  Her last name was originally McLarren, but she changed it to Jäger.  Jäger means Hunter in German.

Personality:
-Like The Sea-
Josette can be calm and composed, but if certain emotions arise, she can become absorbed in that emotion until her waves of emotion settle down.  It is very difficult to make her calm down unless she does it naturally.

-Two Seas In One Ocean-
In a way, she has two personalities.  Her real personality and the one she adopted, the Dread Pirate William.  She is mischievous and clever with a sharp tongue and the sense of humor of a true pirate.  She can be patient and calm and does not mind the occasional mess up.  She is very sarcastic, too. However, she can become easily bored when she has nothing to do.

When she pretends to be William, she is smart and a leader.  She can think her way out of most situations.  She is not one to laugh much, but more softly chuckle when amused.  She is easily annoyed and will not tolerate mistakes.  She adopted this personality from the previous Dread Pirate William, but it has become a part of her.  Some days, she is William more than Josette.  She is sarcastic, but less so than her real personality.

-Same Waters From Two Worlds-
Though Josette's two personalities seem very different, it can be hard to tell them apart seeing as they have similarities.

History:
-Childhood-
Josette was born as Josette McLarren in a small town surrounded by mountains and the sea.  Josette's parents were poor traders and suffered from great debt to a well known pirate.  Josette had a little brother, she took care of him most of the time and her parents would make deals with the pirate to get food and medicine.  Sadly, her parents were too far in debt to the pirate and they were unable to get more medicine.  Josette's brother fell ill and perished in her arms.  The next time the pirate arrived in the town, he demanded compensation in full.  There was only one thing that Josette's parents had to use as payment.  That was Josette herself.  She left with the pirate and joined his crew.

-Teen Years-
Josette, in her earlier years upon the Black Angel, was harassed by the full male crew.  However, there was an old woman who lived upon the ship.  She was not part of the crew, yet she understood the ways of piracy greater than any of them.  Josette befriended the old woman and spent all of her free time learning about the life of a pirate.

In Josette's later teen years, she began to learn the true story of the captain of the ship, the Dread Pirate William.  The Dread Pirate William she knew was not the first, but the fourth.  The old woman was a member of the crew during the final years of the original Dread Pirate William.  She was his niece so he always cared about her, and when her uncle died, she and the other crew chose the next Dread Pirate.  Each Dread Pirate took the name William and a legend was created that said that the Dread Pirate William never died and could change his form.  Only the crew of the ship knew the truth.  Josette wondered who the next Dread Pirate William would be.

-As an Adult-
Josette aged and grew stronger and became a respected member of the crew.  She worked hard and became the first mate.  However, the crew still was against her.  When the time came for the captain to select the next Dread Pirate William, he ignored Josette. She was furious.  She had begun to think that she would at least have a chance, and she planned to take a chance even if she was not given one.  As the captain was testing the most promising men, Josette stopped him and challenged him for his rank and title.  The two fought for much time, and it seemed as if Josette would be killed.  However, she changed her fighting style and surprised the captain.  The battle continued and Josette rose as the winner.  The fourth Dread Pirate William was gone, and the fifth had been chosen.  That day, Josette became the new Dread Pirate William.  She celebrated with the crew and visited the old woman one last time.  She asked her many things, one of which being how old she was.  She received no answer, only a smile and a piece of advice.

There are many questions to be asked, though some already have the answer.  Ask yourself and you will find what you are looking for.

And with that, the old woman disappeared, leaving Josette with no one to care about once more.

Upon her ship, the Black Angel, she and her crew explored the seas.  During their many travels, Josette gained a few new crew members.  All were shocked at the fact that the Dread Pirate William was a female, and one began to take a liking to her.  His name was Jäger and he befriended Josette.  He became the first mate and Josette trusted him with her deepest secrets.  It came to be where the two were inseparable.  However, when Josette and her ship docked at a town by the sea to get some supplies, her crew was attacked while she was dealing with the merchants.  Josette and Jäger fought together, but Jäger had less experience fighting and was severely wounded.  No amount of medicine could have saved him, so he perished as an honorable pirate.

Josette was saddened by the loss of Jäger, but forced herself to stay strong.  She promised herself to not let her heart soften ever again, but she did not want to forget Jäger.  She changed her last name to Jäger to honor him and abandoned the name McLarren.


Ship Information:
Her ship is called the Black Angel.  It is crafted out of maple and teak with ebony trimming. There are occasional strips of silver used as a decorative filler that run through the wood as a seal for minor cracks.


Fighting Style:
She is ambidextrous, but prefers using her left arms and legs to confuse her opponents.  She uses her hind legs for her more powerful attacks seeing as her back legs are slightly stronger than her arms.

The flag of her ship features two symbols. One is a gold and silver sword to represent the strength, and the feather of the original Dread Pirate William to show that if you dared challenged the crew of the Black Angel, you would not survive.


Her Feather:
Josette's feather was not given to her by her parents, rather the old woman she once knew.  When she was a young adult and before she became the Dread Pirate William, the old woman showed Josette the feather and told her it's story.  It was worn by the original Dread Pirate and was one of the things that made him so feared.  The feather sorted a black spot, a fairly common curse among pirates.  If you hold a paper with the black spot in your palm, it will mark your hand and destine you to die soon after.  She never tested the feather, but she believed the curse of the black spot lied within the feather.


Love Life:
Josette is bisexual, but she falls for girls less often than boys.

She has fallen in love once, but promised herself that she would not fall in love again.  She knows she will not be able to keep this promise forever and she still has crushes, but she is afraid of loosing someone she loves again.


Thoughts:
Josette, being a pirate, isn't given must time to think before making a decision or move, but when the day is done and she is aboard her ship, the Black Angel, she is extremely thoughtful and some of those thoughts can be found here.

However, she tries to keep her thoughts short and quick to avoid thinking about her past, so most of her thoughts are simple. However, sometimes Josette's mind wanders and explores the vast world of her own mind.

Hello my dear and what might you like? You want to know who I am? All right, but I don't guarantee you're gunna like what you hear. We'll start at the easiest place. My name.

My name is Kaval. It stands for sly in some other language or somethin', I dunno. My mum named me that, seems like she could see the future. Anyway yup, it's Kaval. K-A-V-A-L. Pronounced Ka-vle. Now what else should I get at, hm... oh yes! My gender.

I'm a girl, thank you for askin'. Wouldn't want any of you thinkin' I was a guy, now would I? Movin' on.

I suppose you'd like to know what kind of attitude I have? Well trust me I have quite the attitude. I'm a very, take charge kinda gal. I don't like bein' bossed around or nothin' like that. Mm-m no sir-ee. I would say my bark is far worse then my bite, but then again my bite's pretty bad. Don't cross me or you'll be halfway to the moon before you can say 'run!'. And mutiny, don't even think about mutiny! I'll have you overboard in a heartbeat!

What quirks and faults do I have? Now why would you ask a silly question like that? Don't answer that I really don't care. Well my accent is a quirk I suppose. I'm from Britain so I have a British accent you see. I think another quirk would be, my nose twitches a lot. But that ain't much, probably just some dust or somethin'. Now faults, faults. Well lets see. Well others might say i'm a kleptomaniac. I see something and I swipe it. It's just the way I am I suppose. That don't mean i'm not good at stealing, 'cause i am! That's what I do for a living, technically speakin'.

Did you just ask me if I had a special someone? Why of course I don't, what do I look like a romantic or a pirate? No I don't have a 'special someone' and I never will so don't ask! I don't love anybody, such is a pirates way. Not sayin' I wouldn't use what some may call 'good looks' on some poor lad for personal gain. That's just part of daily livin'.

Will you quit askin' me dumb questions?? Why should I tell you about my past? I should throw you overboard! *Sigh* Very well. I was born in Britain with my mother and father. My father was a pirate, see? He used to send me letters of his most recent plunders, and one day he sent me this headband. My mum musta known I was gonna be like my father, 'cause she named me Kaval, or sly. Mind reader she was, nice but fairly harsh. Too easily swept away by what you people call romance. One day my dad was killed in a battle with another crew of pirates, and I went out to help his crew get his stuff off the ship. Ya that's right. His crew. He was captain of a great and infamous ship! And that's when I requested joining. Unfortunately, they answered; 'In a few years!". The dumb little blighters. Anyway, I stayed home with mum and we mourned for a bit and then, one day, while I was walking in the market, I was captured! Some bloody human had heard my father was a pirates Kiamara (he was captain of all the Kiamaras on board, you see?) and he snatched me up and put me in a box. Away we went! I didn't know where we were goin' or even if I was gonna live, but when I got out I found myself the personal Kiamara of a Royal Navy captain! I was shocked, and the other Royal Navy Kiamaras greeted me, badly to say the least. I was now their captain. They had to do what I said. And I was a pirate. We roamed the open waters, not plunderin' anything but rather watching and waiting. We had a run in with a crew of pirates, but they ran away as fast as they could. I began to formulate a plan. I thought, "If the other Kiamaras hate me enough, would they commit mutiny and let me go? Do Royal Navy Kiamaras commit mutiny?" The answer was, not usualy. But if you're bad enough, they'd always make an exception. So I took it upon myself to be the worst captain I could ever be, and sure enough, it worked. The other Kiamaras got fed up with me and requested that I be dropped off next time we went into dock. But that isn't what happened. Instead, I was dropped off on a seemingly abandoned island. I was, less then happy with where I was placed. But, true to a pirate spirit, I held on and looked for a way out. That's when I found them. As I wandered the beach on my third day there, I noticed a ship in the distance. To my shock, it was my fathers old ship. They came ashore and I went to greet them. Thankfully, they remembered my father ("Who could forget him!" They said) and let me on board. I became the First Mates Kiamara, and although many questions were asked of me, most were left unanswered. Finally I sailed the high sea with a crew. We plundered many a plunder and I saved the captain much more then once. But, unfortunately, the captains Kiamara died of illness. Luckily, I was there to step in. The captain accepted me and I became the captains new Kiamara. After that we grew even more infamous. Soon we found the Royal Navy was on our tails, and we began wondering if we would survive much longer. Apparently not. One day we were attacked by a fleet of Royal Navy ships. Shot down we were, but not without a fight. We took down three other ships before we went down! A brilliant battle, filled with pumping adrenaline and cannon shots. I managed to survive when the ship was being bombarded with cannons, and when it went down. I remember, as I drifted on a piece of wood, a small boat coming towards me, holding two Royal Navy men. Then I blacked out. When I woke up I was in a cell on board one of the ships. The few members of my crew that had survived were down there to, in other cells. We tried to think up a plan, but none seemed to come to mind. It was hopeless and after a few days we came upon the port. I hadn't been to my home city since I was a child, and the sight of it made me sad, but as we approached the hanging post I began to feel more sad. My adventures seemed over, and we were lined up with ropes around our necks, but as the lever began to be pulled, someone killed the man pulling it. My dear friend and crewmate, John had saved us! Quickly we got the rope from around our neck and leapt into battle, escaping the square down to the docks and off of one of their boats! We were off out into the ocean, escaped and free once again! We named John captain of our crew and he took me as his Kiamara. That was, three years ago if memory serves? Yes yes we're all still part of a crew, we've just pulled into port for some rum. Well I best be off! Don't wanna keep John waitin'.

About her name:
The name; 'Queen Anne' originated from the name;
'Queen Anne's Revenge', of which was the name of captain
Edward Teach's ship, But Edward Teach was more commonly known as Blackbeard!

Anne isn't a very... interactive type of kia, she is usually on her own. Most kias see her as someone who is lonesome, unsociable, in pain and someone who doesn't want to have any friends; who doesn't want to see the world as a good place or believe there could be something better somewhere for her. Those who try to socialize with her are met occasionally by being ignored, or being insulted, but most will be un-knowingly walked away from. Anne... doesn't seem to know what the word 'nice' or 'friendly' or even the meaning of 'friend' means, she to use to being along. She just needs to learn.

Anne is like a lone wolf. She does have a small crew though, but that is all they are, not friends, she doesn't even talk directly to them .Only demands and request are given to them .Most people would rather believe that Anne is indifferent in a way. She may seem like a pretty, daring, uncontrollably lonesome soul on the outside, but really she isn't like that on the inside, they're just buried too deep for most to see. Queen Anne is actually very intelligent, kind and loving...its just that she doesn't quite know how to show it. She wants to have friends, but she was brought up to kill, fight and not to care about anyone else but herself, but she is trying to break that, she wants to be different .She has tried to change her ways but she can't. Anne keeps a alight distance from weaker kiamara, because she doesn't want to hurt anyone; she knows that she often gets a little out of control, and sometimes she doesn't even realise it.

If anyone could break through the walls she has built around herself, they would find that he is actually a great girl. But anne still has yet to learn to true meaning of the word 'Trust'; She can be trusted, but she cannot trust .But she is also caring. She looked after her friends that she once had, and she was good at helping them to resolve their problems and look at things through another's perspective. but Sora can't stand being cheated or lied to, she has put up with way to long, so she usually acts very aggressively to those who have done so, and that is why she has no friends today.

Her Ship had to be one her most favourite things she had ever owned, it provided transportation for sailing the sea, it was warm, it was dry, it was actually her home .Until it sunk it a violent battle, she did not win due to her crew being wiped out .But it still was her favourite thing, so she liked it very much.

Anne absolutely loves food, she mostly likes fruit though, but she still couldn't do without meat .She always has amazing dinners supplied only for the captain of the ship of course, the crew just has normal food .Anyway, she also loves cooked foods, like cakes, pastries, pies and soups .Their her most favourite foods, nothing could separate them from her, she love, love, loves them!

Anne also really enjoys reading, its actually one of her most favourite things to do in her spare time .But she mostly enjoys reading scripts, not really books, she finds it more appropriate for a pirate to read .But she only gets to read, when someone sends her a letter of some description, due to books not being written on scrolls, but she does read actually books sometimes, it just difficult for her to turn the pages.

Snakes. The word Anne hates the most .As you can obviously see, that Anna absolutely hates snakes .She has hated them ever since she was young, due to her cousin getting bit by one, she survived but ever since that day she has been petrified of them .She also doesn't enjoy the way them move, the slithering sends a chill down her spin every time .So...yeah .Anne dislikes snakes, very much so...

Anne really, really hates spiders, she thinks their disgusting, strange, creepy, repulsive and....ummmm....pretty much any word that is mean towards them .Anne is usually brave and heroic, but every time she spots a spider, she has a fit .Im pretty sure she has Arachnophobia .So any spider she comes across automatically dies. So yeah .Dislikes them.

Anne loved her ship very much, it was family to her, it was the most valuable thing she had in her possession .But the part she disliked the most was...when it was sank! Anne was a ship wreck after she had lost that battle, she had lost everything she had, all of her crew, everything she held close to her heart, and its all gone .But now, she has a new ship, a new crew and new things to cherish, so goodness knows what would happen if it occurred once again .Anne would not like it one bit.

The moon light reflected off the glistening water and shone into my eyes waking me from my sleep .I yawned and stood on my four paws stretching out my lean body while the ship began swaying back and forth .My fur was ruffled and un-neat, I yawned once more and walked to the door and opened it, as I did so and large waves collided with the ship splashing me with the water making my fur sparkle and glisten .As I did so, my ears perked as multiple kiamara stormed down the stair and passed me, vanishing below the deck .A vague light began to light up the ship as the sun began rising .I stood in the door way and walked to the top of the ship and over looked the who whole deck as the crew began to work .Then the sky turned bright red and was merged with many colors; Different shades of reds, yellows and oranges .The light from which made my earrings sparkle, then I began walking back down the stairs and entering the rooms below deck, they were not the cleanest of rooms but they still provided what my crew needed .So I continued walking amongst the crew until I reached one of the cannon holes, from which they shot from .I stuck my head though and the sky was even more beautiful than before .It was magnificent, as Inoverlooked the Caribbean shore line.

I stood back and made my way back up to the deck where the crew was waiting for me, I opened the door and exited leaving the it open behind me .I walked up to the overlooking part of the deck and gave the crew orders and demands before they quickly began doing what I said .Then my first mate directed the ship into the harbour and carefully lined up it up, slightly knocking the jetty .They all lined up at the ramp and began walking down, most entering the town and doing their own thing, a few remained behind to guarding the ship while I went into the town .I began walking up a flight of stairs and entered the large house at the top .A dark coloured Kia opened the door for me, where my family awaited me .Well, my remaining family .My father smiled and walked over to me and gave me a hug before drooping his ears .My smile turned into a frown as my father told me the bad news, my mother had passed away a few nights ago .A tear rolled down my cheek and I said my farewells before the crew rang the bells from my ship .It was time to go .I walked down the stair feeling angry, sad and disappointed with myself .I knew I had of returned home earlier to say my goodbyes to my mother.
I walked through the town and onto the dock and climbed aboard my ship before heading into the room .I curled up before my first mate opened the door and asked where we were headed, I replied and said ...Australia.

This was where my only cousin lived, my father asked me if I could tell her about my mothers death and to bring her back to the Caribbean for the funeral.

Why hello Anne, I'm glad you showed up

"What ever...Now lets just get this over and done with, I'm very busy and have to set sail before sunset..."

Anyway...lets get started shall we .

"What ever...."

Ok...What was your child hood like?

"It was boring, mother only let us do girly stuff, like; Knit, practice piano, draw, paint, pretty much anything below boring...."

Well that's not good is it, and what was your cousin like?

"She was ok actually, she never told mother or father when I snuck out at night, and she ran away with me, so I guess she was alright."

That's good, now what about your mother?"

"My mother...How I hated her! She was the worst mother ever! She never spent time with me, never let me do anything...nothing at all...I hated her...,but she was my mother so...I still had to love her, she did raise me, looked after me and taught me valuable things that affect me today, I guess I did love her...but she was still a horrid Kiamara."

And your father?

"Yeah...father...he was the only one that understood me, and spent time with me and sometimes he tried to sneak me out and we would play down at the beach, but mother would catch us and yell at father...hmmm, he was such a kind kia...I love him so much...."

Do you miss them?

"I miss father and my cousin, but not really my mother..."

Is your mother ok still today?

"No. She died."

Ohh, well lets go to a different topic now

"Sounds like a plan...."

Alright, what did you think about those pirates that sunk your ship and killed your crew?

"What would you think if I sunk your battle ship and killed you..."

Anne was born into a small wealthy family of 4, Her mother, her father, her cousin and herself .Her farther was the mayor of the town, and made plenty of money every week, and her mother was a outfit designer .So her family expected a lot from her, she had to wear a long dress, that was a light red colour .Anne hated it, she couldn't wear what she wanted and always had to do work inside the house, like chores, knitting and practicing music .Her mother also had to teach Anne to be a proper lady .But Anne would much prefer to go outside and play with the other Kiamara, but she wasn't allowed .Her mother was very strict, so she didn't want Anna to be a bad representative towards the family .They always had a good representation and they didn't want Anne to change that, and Anne hated her mother for it .She wasn't allowed to have fun, play or do what she wanted .There was always rules to stop her.

So Anne grew up following those rules, but she could no longer take it and began sneaking out at night .She enjoyed it, she started having fun, making friends and doing what she wanted .She was never the same after that .But the night that everything changed was the worst, she snuck out like usual, and met a young crew of pirates, she thought they were amazing and the captain offered her to join .But she couldn't, she wanted to very much, and the captain noticed it, he then offered her a ride in his ship around the Caribean islands at night .So she accepted and did so, they sailed all night until the sun began to rise .And Anne knew she wouldn't make it back in time, and didn't .Her family was waiting at the docks for her, she lowered her head and held back her ears as she walked off the ship .she was welcomed by a slap across the face by her mother, she rubbed her cheek as a tear rolled down her face .Her parents began walked away with her following, she turned back numerous times wanting to sail the seas with the crew.

As she made it to the top of the stairs the bell rang from the ship and the crew began loading the ship with cargo .They were about to leave for Australia, and Anne desperately wanted to go and her cousin wanted to as well .So she stopped and looked down at the ship, as her mother yelled out and told her to come inside while her cousin walked beside her .Anne ignored and her mother yelled again before grabbing her tail and yanking her inside .Anne yelped and frowned, pulling forward releasing her mothers grip from her tail .She quickly spun around as the ship began to leave and she began running down the stair with her cousin following her and onto the dock .She yelled out and started running slightly quicker and jumping into the boat landing on a few Kiamara, followed by her cousin landing on herself .A loud cheer rose up on the boat as they sailed away, while half the town watched on the docks in disappointment .Her mother frowned and began crying and walked back inside .That was the last time that Anne and her cousin saw of Anne's mother.

Time had passed and Anne had grown into a young adult, she changed her name to Queen Anne and was now a pirate .They had dropped her cousin off at Australia and had continued sailing around the world .The captain had also passed away, leaving the ship in possession of Anne and was now the captain .A lot had happened over those few months and it was time for Queen Anne to sail back to the Caribean to see her mother and father .She didn't want to, but she at least had to make sure that they knew she was ok.

Anne entered the harbour and knew that something wasn't right, so she quickly got off the ship and began walking up the stairs, the doors opened and a dark kia stood there, he stood out of the way and there stood her father .He had a small smile of his face with his ears held back, Anne was slightly confused but she suddenly knew when her mother didn't come .Anne's father told her about her mother's death and tears began rolling down her face, he also said that he wanted Anne's cousin to return to thr Caribean to attend the funeral .Anne nodded and quickly left .the crew loaded the ship up with crates and cargo before heading off to Australia .They came across Storms and heat waves, but they still pressed on .They stopped at Borneo and rest for the night before continuing on to Australia .They found her cousin and began heading back to the Caribean .But they never did .Calm waters, cool breeze and quiet, nothing you wouldn't expect from a sea, until multiple pirate ships began appearing along the horizon .They didn't worry Anne at the time, until the first cannon was fired, the ship was struck and multiple Kia that were under the deck were quickly killed .All ships began firing, planks of wood flew across the sky hitting the crew and destroying parts of the ship .But within the few minutes of fighting, it was already too late.

The whole ship had sunk, the crew was dead, including her cousin .So Anne had nothing left, nothing to live for .Until she was found floating on a plank of wood in the centre of the black sea.

But until this day, Queen Anne had brought another ship, created another crew, returned home and was reunited with her father.
