Without mysteries, life would be very dull indeed. What would be left to strive for if everything were known? - Charles de Lint
My name is Glass. Of course, we aren't here to talk about me, although there's plenty of time afterwards to. We're here to talk about Carter. His full name? Didn't you see the big, swirly words up above? No? Oh alright, I'll tell you. It's Carter James Boone, but he prefers to just be known by his initials, Carter J.B. Furthermore, there are no nicknames. No shortages of the name, no funny names that are more like insults. He has enough, and doesn't want to share it with you. (No offense or anything, cause he didn't tell me either.)
I suppose you'll be wanting the reason his name is his name, am I right? Well, for all he knows, that's the name his parents gave him. But I'll tell you a secret, that you can't tell anybody! Anybody! The real reason his name is Carter (James Boone) is because I like that name. Hehe, tricked you! Bet you thought it was going to be some magical, mystical reason that really bizarre and wild, but it isn't. Some things are just going to be plain and boring in life, and you just have to roll with it.
Ok, for real this time, you can't tell Carter what I'm about to tell you. This is top-secret, Glass info that can't get out to Carter. I'd break his sweet little heart. The reason? I'm about to tell you about why I want him.
First off, he's not super glamorous, or very complex, just normal, just average. I like that about him. Although yes, it'd be fun to have a crazy Kia with that whole "wild" feel to them, but sometimes less is more. And in this cause, dull is the new black. It wasn't Carter's colors/design that attracted me, or that he's one of the first Kias on the new lines (which, I will admit, did play a part in me making a form). It was his overall appeal, the fact he was normal, and being normal happens to be pretty uncommon. Which is exactly why I've fallen in love with him.
Secondly, there's the fact about writing. Not just stories, but the actual form. Most of the time, I have to strike my writing and drop out, because I can't compete with the other applications and their wacky, wild stories. So when I saw just how average Carter was, I decided that this was a Kia I could finish my form for. This was a Kia I could love and treasure forever, if I tried hard enough. So here I am. Ready to win.
I don't really understand why Carter needs a whole section to example his gender. For crying out loud, how can you not tell he's a guy? I mean sure, you could probably see Carter's design as each a girl or a boy, but I've used like five million zillion masculine pronouns! (is that right in English? Masculine pronouns?) Well, to fill up space I might as well explain Carter's sexual orientation. This Kia is heterosexual, which means he goes for the ladies. Course, he has some trouble attracting them.
Now then, it seems we've come to the fun part. Let's see if we can describe him, hmm? Well to start off, Carter's a bit of a mystery, with twists and turns, but one solid answer at the very end. Sure, he has different moods that can throw off somebody's guess at his true self. Deep down though, he's a sweetheart with an ounce of anger. He's the one you turn to if you need a shoulder to cry on, but also to figure out who put the "kick me" sign on your back. He can listen to hours of heartbreak, but can also figure out who pick-pocketed you. As you can see, Carter is a detective, a private investigator, as some might say. He's one tough cookie, and doesn't play favorites.
Everybody has that one thing they can't stand, something they're petrified of. For some it's thunder, others bugs, and for some even talking to the opposite gender. Of course, there are some weird ones, but luckily Carter doesn't have one of those. He's afraid of (drumroll) disappointing people. He loves the feeling that he gets when he helps someone, and is praised. He does not, obviously, like the feeling when he disappoints someone. Growing up, getting it wrong meant punishment and hatred. (Obviously his parents weren't that nice.) As he grew up, that memory blossomed into a fear. Luckily though, Carter works his hardest to never disappoint, and always succeed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

═════╣Accessories╠═════Carter's not a kia who owns a
lot of stuff, but he does have a magnifying glass.
No one, and I mean no one, is allowed to touch it.
He's also got a few hats, baseball, jester, you name it.
He collects them, you see. Carter doesn't wear
them, but is very proud of his collection.
═════╣Pets╠═════Although he's not very social, Carter does
have some friends at home. There's his turtle, Algae, who
he adores very much, and his pet chicken. The sacred pet
chicken, known as Blossom. Course, the chicken
is wild, but Carter feeds it and loves it like a pet.
Blossom loves him right back.

Carter enjoys solving mysteries, listening to music, and watching the sun set. They're not quite exactly normal hobbies, but hey, we've all got something different about us, right?
