How she handles being blind and deaf:For her its not that bad.She gets around with her nose.She uses body language for communication.Overall she doesn't think its that bad.She could be considered mute because she doesn't know she can talk or make noise at all.She loves how she is though.

why i want her;;
I was very skeptical of this P.O.D. at first, but the more I saw her, the more I wanted her. I began thinking up stories and a personality, so I decided I should try out. Then, I saw that the end date was tomorrow, so I was like -destiny-. Since, tomorrow is my birthday, I decided to give it a go and see If I could finish it before tomorrow. I can't wait to type out the rest of the form. Thank you for allowing me to enter for this P.O.D. and good luck to everyone else.

A few words to describe June would be a miracle, inspirational, caring, innocent, shy, strange and brave. I think it's amazing how she lives her life to the fullest, yet she is both blind and deaf. She loves to do whatever she can to prove that her disabilities don't hold her back. She never backs down from a challenge unless it's just flat out stupid. She is also very inspirational. She shares her stories only to those who see through her appearance and realize she's different. It usually touches the heart of everyone who hears it. She is very caring. She wants to help everyone she can and make them feel better. To her, nothing is worse than a sad face. She loves to help those who she runs into. She can't help but stop and try to make them feel better. Another thing about her is her innocence. She doesn't get into fights and arguments easily and is more of a peacemaker. She doesn't like being yelled at and accepts her challenges calmly. She goes out of her way to avoid sleeping in another P.O.D.'s den and possibly agerrvating them. She is also a bit shy. If you run up to her, thinking she'll be your friend in two seconds, then you're mistaken. She'll open up to you, but only slowly. Once you get close to her, she'll open up to you and you'll realize how loyal and brave she is. Those who first meet her may think she is a bit strange since she talks to herself, but it's not what it seems. She talks to herself so that she can get her tone level figured out before she talks to anyone. One of her somewhat contradicting features is her braveness. She'll stand up for her friends in a heart-beat. She'll also accept most of her challenges, not always paying attention to the danger level.

June was born and raised as an only child by her mother and father. They never knew that she was blind until they realized she had no knowledge of different colors. They didn't take it hard, but tried to help her. They would help her learn the colors by her 'color flashes'. Those happen when she first wakes up in the morning, but only happen about once or twice a month. They are when she sees a color or two for about one minute. She would point at something she could see the color of and her parents would tell her what color it was. Now, when she has color flashes, she says the color to make sure she still knows it. She left her parents to start traveling when she was old enough to know what she could eat and when she knew all of the basic colors. Now, she travels from place to place. So, not much of an interesting history.

June isn't just flat out blind. She can see everything in black and white. It's kind of like when you look at black and white pictures, you're seeing what she sees. She has always been blind like this, but it hasn't really hurt her too much. She's just happy that she can see at all. Occasionally, she'll see a color or two, giving her a basic idea of what the colors are. She is actually pretty happy that she is blind. It limits her choice on judging a book by it's cover.

Unlike her blindness, June hasn't always been deaf. One day, when she was out for a walk, she heard a high-pitched sound. It wouldn't stop, so she tried running away from it, but it just got louder. Suddenly, she couldn't hear it. In fact, she couldn't hear anything. When she got home to her parents, she could see their mouths moving but no sound came out. She had luckily learned to read lips, so she could understands them. She told them what had happened, and they helped calm her down. Now, she can only hear extremely loud noises, like gunshots. She can still talk, since she hasn't always been deaf. She talks by making sure her own voice vibrations are low enough to the tone she's talking in.
habits;;
June has a few habits that she can't shake. Two of them are her saying colors when she sees them and talking to herself to check her vocals. She also has a habbit to stay awake until sun down to make sure she is not in anyone else's territory. Another one is that she stops to daydream everynow and then, just staring off into space.
where she stays;;
June is more of a traveler. She doesn't plan to travel forever, just until she finds somewhere to settle. Her dream den would be hidden behind a small waterfall in a beautiful rain forest, but that's just her. She loves the water, so she would have to be somewhere near the water for her to actually enjoy the place.

I shortened my form since yesterday so that I could finish it in time. I wish good luck to everyone and I hope that you don't mind that I did not make her completely blind and still able to speak. I just didn't think she would be able to do much if she was that disabled.
