Her eyes opened as the wind tousled her mane and ran its icy fingers through her hair, sending a shiver up her spine. The smell of salt water wafted through the air and tickled her nose, causing her to crinkle her upper lip. Sounds of the seagulls and the waves breaking under her paws reached her ears, all of these things were very familiar and comforting to the kia. She stood proudly on a rock that jutted out from the shore and over the clear blue water. The next wave approached, like something moving under a carpet until the crest formed and it made impact on the rock with a mighty crash. Sea foam sprayed into the air and speckled her dark blue coat with little foamy green flecks. She smiled and shook herself off. After standing there for several minutes, poised so regally atop that rock, she made her way back to the sand and once she was off, she took a minute to squish it in between her toes. Carefully, she shook out her mane to make sure that nothing foreign had gotten in it and she took off at a run down the shore, her paws sent sand spraying backwards as she launched forward, her sleek coat glimmering in the sunlight.
With her heart hammering and her breathing coming with more effort, she slowed down to a slow trot before lurching to a stop to admire something red that stuck out of the sand. She bent down to examine the thing before dislodging it from the sand and picking it up. In her paw, sat a bright red, dried-out, star fish! She held it up to the sun and it shimmered faintly. She thought for several minutes on what she would do with her newest beach-combing find before she decided that her mane was quite bland. The mysterious kia set off with determination for her shack she called home. She opened the door and skittered off to the bathroom. There she sat in front of the mirror and held up the find this way and that before she finally found a spot she liked. Carefully, she tucks it in front of her ear and then turns her head around in front of the mirror to admire her handiwork. She sighed and nodded. "Nice work Lani." she said quietly and to herself. Not like there would be anyone else to talk to. Or someone who would go out of their way to talk with such a shy girl as herself. Unsure, she blinked, brushed her mane beside her ear and trotted back outside, determined to find something new!

I am ♥Talon, currently a non-kia owner. I usually stalk the Kiamaras, not taking interest enough to post forms and try out for just any kiamara. I want one I love and know I will use. I believe I just found him, he called out to me in the strangest of ways. Thank you so much for the opportunity at him, even if I don't win him, all is fair and fun! I just hope I show how much I want him by the effort in the form and and the story surrounding him.
"So you want my name? My name is Záporozo, I think... just call me Zap for short. Everyone else thinks it's easier to say, anyway." He says calmly. It didn't seem to bother him being labeled by Zap, an ironic nickname for a sea-themed kiamara. That's the only name he had that he remembered and that was what he went by.
I decided on this name because for one it's Hungarian and two it means Undertow. I wanted to pick something closer to home and since Hungarian is in my blood, that is what I went with, despite all the other awesome names I had. I was originally going to pick something Japanese or Hawaiian, but even though I love those languages it's just not suiting for me or for a character of mine if it doesn't have a deeper connection.
He is definitely male with some feminine features like his gorgeous eyes, silky-smooth hair, and his long eye lashes. Being so, he doesn't mind being referred to as "she" - being gender fluid is fine with him - as long as it's not in a rude, snotty kind way. He is also pansexual, though is usually more compatible with males, since he tends to get along with the more simple-minded souls...
He used to love the sea, being attracted by that inviting glimmer as the light reflected off the top of the water. The ocean shimmered like flashing teeth in mother nature's beautiful smile, inviting and bright. This smile was a trap, inviting souls to come in, then use that once-smile now filled with sharp teeth to bite down and swallow them whole. It was a game to her and she enjoyed to play it, every soul was a trophy and she always craved more. She hoarded the trophies, keeping them in the darkness and glanced over them to see her accomplishment. She loved a good challenge, those were her best trophies. Every century she had to throw out something new to keep souls captivated by tossing corals, shells, and pearls onto the shore. She needed to keep her calm appearance to keep the interest in her growing, but underneath laid the dangerous riptides waiting for her next trophies. That was the true being of mother nature, ruthless and cruel to any land animal that dared to touch her glimmering waters. Unfortunately, many people fell for her beauty and drowned. She was a siren.

I strongly urge you to take a peek. They are all breath-taking! I went a bit happy with art, so to avoid the form being cluttered, they are in link form. Very sorry but they are all worth it, I think!
