hello, it's Rivkah here, many call me Riv
in this community. owner of three Kiamaras,
and hoping to make this one my fourth.

I would name this boy Finnegan. c;

name meaning;

Finnegan is a transferred use of the Irish
surname, which is an Anglicized form of
the Gaelic Ó Fionnagáin (descendant of
Fionnagán). Fionnagán is a diminutive
form of Fionn (fair); hence the meaning,
"little fair one."

theme song;

it was really hard, to be honest, to choose
a theme song for this boy, and I don't think
two is needed. so, the lovely song I chose was
by the wonderful band Queen; called
Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy
the reason I chose this song was it was
very sweet and cheerful, and I don't see
this boy as being the cranky type. I've
been dreaming up how to make my fourth
Kiamara and I find this song particularly
fitting as I wish to make Finn homosexual;
and he's sensitive and romantic like the
song. Not only that, the lead singer, may
he rest in peace, Freddie Mercury was bi,
making many gay references in his songs.

short story;

Finnegan ambled along through the vast, rolling hills of Ireland; he would not be here much longer, as he would be leaving his home to gravitate to other places with more Kiamaras. He needed the socializing, as shy as he was. So as it was his last day before his traveling, he had decided to take a long walk and really take in what he could of the landscape and imprint it into his memory. Of course he would come back to visit, but he had to see more of the world. As he walked, the cool, dewy grass of the morning contented him, until something less comfortable hit his paw pads.

"Ouch!"

Lifting his paw, his eyes widened as he saw a little spiny ball where his paw had been. After a moment a little face peeked out of it; a little European hedgehog! They were a common animal in Ireland's wildlife. He peered down, saying softly, "Sorry little guy, I didn't see you there." It squeaked, curling tighter out of fear, and he nuzzled it, the little spines not as harmful now that he was careful. It eventually became less tentative, sticking its little nose out and touching it to his muzzle. This was amusing, as it reminded him a lot of himself, being as shy and introverted as he was. He leaned down, and it crawled onto his shoulder, squeaking pleasantly. "You wanna stay with me, buddy?" he asked with a grin, hoping for a companion for his trip out of Ireland. Finn tilted his head as it squeaked, making itself comfortable in his fur. With a little laugh, he said warmly, "I'll take that as a yes!"

Frowning, he murmured, "However, I think you need a name." Blinking, he tilted his head, thinking through all of the Gaelic he knew - Gaelic being his country's main language other than English. "Hmm, your spines are sharp... how about Géar?" He felt silly suggesting it, as Géar literally translated right to "sharp." However, the hedgehog seemed to like it and squeaked appreciatively. "Alright then," he said with a laugh, resuming his walk. "We're going to see the world together, little buddy!" Happy with this thought, he paid close attention, occasionally whispering to the hedgehog, though it could only respond in little squeaks. This was perfectly fine with him, as he never talked much to begin with.
