i am seventeen years old by the age of humans. i'm seventeen years & two months old.
by everyone else's opinion, my age just means i'm going through a phase, wanting difference, and all.

I look to the sky thinking about how every one but me had one to ride. I was still a kid to them and wont be able to prove otherwise. i continue to blast the song Demons by Imagine Dragons and finish the picture i was coloring. The picture i'm coloring is the dragon i want to own: shes a beautiful white with green tinged wings mane and tail. she has a yellow diamond signifying the beautiful light she creates. i look up from my paper as i hear a soft thud on the ground near me. i look up and its like she leaped off my page. i stand slowly trying not to scare her off. i didn't want to miss my chance to catch her. i coax her towards me with some of the food from my pack i was carrying. she walks over slowly and calmly graciously taking the little bit of food that i had left. i pet her silky man and stand there. the only way to know that she would be mine is if she would follow me not just for food but for me. no dragon has taken to my liking ever since i became bitter and sad after my brothers death. i hope and pray to my brother she will be mine.
