What are Emyriches?

Emyriches are large docile creatures that inhabit the large, mystical island of Emyr. They emerge from their leafy lairs at dusk and are active for most of the night and morning. A colony of Emyriches is a tightly knit community, mostly consisting of a couple families. They are very social but completely silent as they lack mouths. They communicate through the bells on their tails which are also completely silent to the average human ear. The Emyriches pick up these signals through their large rabbit like ears and then respond is necessary. How do they eat? Well, they use the colorful pads on their feet to absorb nutrients from plants. This doesn’t harm the plant.
They are the size of a small horse when full grown. Females are slightly taller than males and are usually the ones that lead the colonies. Males mark territories and guard if they have to. Their only means of self defense are their size and small claws on their hind feet.
Cubs are born without a bell, causing them to be mute for the first few months. At two years old, a cub will receive a wrap. This wrap will be their first and probably last. The parent either makes it or hires someone to. This band displays the cubs personality and where they stand in the colony. Females wear them on one of their front legs and males on one of the back. The wraps can be vibrantly colored and intricate but usually match the eyes and paw pads of the cub. They stand out from the naturally colored coat of the Emyrich.

Personality
: Curious :

Ever since Zale first opened his eyes and saw the world, he has always been curious of everything around him. Oddly enough though, he awoke to find alone, he never heard a voice but he was fed by something, so when he opened his eyes, he found nothing was there, caring for him. It is mostly because of this, that he is curious. He wonders what could be out that there that had been caring for him up to this point? He will walk up to just about any adult Emyrich, questioning if they knew him and if they were the ones that helped care for him in his times of blindness when he was first born. He still searches, but someday hopes to find the one that will finally answer, "yes"

: Kind/Considerate :

Zale is a most gentle Emyrich with a great heart of gold. He will often put himself below others needs, caring for them and helping to make them feel better before himself. But because he is so used to helping others over himself, he keeps his pains and worries to himself, in fear that if he came to another Emyrich for help that he would be letting them down.

: Smart :

Intelligence. That is one word that means a lot to Zale, he feels that if you do not know what is to come of you or what is around you, then you will be lost in this world. He can be found often researching something, nothing in particular topic wise, but just stuff in general. As he hears of things he does not understand, he begins to go into full research mode and secludes himself to a library with a computer. There he has the unlimited resources for his questions to be answered, without having to bother any other Emyrichs.

: Imaginative :

Still though, as intelligent as Zale is, he doesn't realize how much he allows for his mind to wander. Often times, mistaking his imagination as reality.

{He is always shy. The reason why is because all of the people he used to love and care for have left him, because they didn't like him in general.
History:
{He has had a tough life, and a harsh one at that. He has always been needy and always wanted more, and that got on his parents nerves. So they abandoned him. Although he is just a child, he has a tough mind and a tough heart. One day, a group of adults came into the cafe, near his new 'home'. They peered outside the cafe window to see the poor little cub, and rushed outside to go and help him. Soon, he learned to live by their ways, and he enjoyed their company. But soon, he became the needy cub he always was, and the adults abandoned him too. And he learned to never trust a soul again.

Orion was born an orphan, his father had died before he was born, then his mother died giving birth to him. He wandered the forests searching for food. He is very small, caused by lack of food. He looks for people to help.

Snow and darkness fills the air,
Giving all the animals a good scare,
While sit in the cold,
thinking of memories that never get old,
Trees tower over me,
I stay as still as i can be,
I watch as the snow covers the ground,
The wind blows all around,
making a horrible moaning sound.

where i will forever rome.

Short Personality:
Orion is a very thoughtful Emyrich. He was born to be a leader. He takes advantage of his situation and always finds a way to figure things out. He is deffentatly a problem solver. He loves a great challenge as is always up for helping people. He is very caring and brave. He is always willing to step out of his comfort vone for other people.

Favorite place:
Orion enjoys being up high in his favorite tree, staring at the stars. He loves the cold night wind ruffling his fur.

Biggest wish: To be surrounded by those who care for him, no one hating him and no one envying him.

Snow, trees.
