S t o r y :
Taido sat at the edge of the beach, waiting for the tide to come in. It washed over her paws and she smiled, thinking of her mother back at the house. She stepped farther in, and ended up so far in that she had to swim. She paddled a few more feet in, and stopped, turning back. This was her normal daily routine. She swam back into and walked up the shore, over to where her towel was so she could dry off. She looked behind her, wondering where her mother was. She was usually here by now. Her eyes scanned the ocean, and her body sat down, watching the ocean. It's tide went in, out, in, out. Had she been there for hours? Minutes? She didn't know. She finally stood back up, and headed home.
Once she was home, her mother greeted her happily.
"Happy Birthday, Taido! Do you remember what happens on your second birthday, sweetie?"her mother said. She thought for a moment, then remembered.
"I get my feathers today! Is that why you didn't come to the beach?" she asked, as everything started making sense.
"That's correct! Yes, I was getting your feathers ready for you when you came home. May I give them to you now?"Her mother asked, showing her daughter the two beautiful yellow feathers.
The beach-like kiamara gasped in awe of the feathers.
"Of course! Where are you going to put them?"She excited kia asked.
"I am putting them both on your tail, to show that you are welcome to swim anytime. It's easiest to swim with feathers on your tail. I love you sweetie, and Congratulations!"Her mother said, tying the feathers on her tail.

Reason: I decided on the name Emma for two different reasons. One: I love this name to death. I don't know why, but it just sounds so pretty to me. Two: Emma actually chose this name herself. You see, Emma has these massive little obsession with surfing, and Stoked. It is was a television show by Teletoon, it's off air now. But still, Emma is like, almost as in love with this show as she is with surfing.
And so she named herself after her favorite character, Emma. Yeah, she got to name herself. Her full name is Emmalyn. And Emma has no clue what her name what of been if she hadn't decided to name herself.

Gender: In case you haven't noticed? Emma is female, through and through.

Personality: Emma's personality is not like the girl she was named after at all. This Emma is a rebellious, yet sweet, surfer-obsessee. She tends to not follow rules just for the fun of it. She's a little lazy and can blow her friends off, but she's definitively stubborn, and stubborn means loyal, with her. Some jerk laughs at her friends?

Story:
Oceania bounced to the beach, smiling as the cool grass gave way to the soft feeling of sand. With a beach towel rolled up, Oceania had picked up her towel and set out for a day in the sun.
She lifted her sunglasses off of her face to take in the view of the ocean. She loved the way the ocean sparkled and shimmered a beautiful cerulean colour as it licked at the shoreline. She adored the salty air as the wind blew the smell of the sea towards her.
With a fwoosh!, Oceania's towel flew out of her mouth and landed gently onto the sand. The Kiamara straightened it out, then dropped her belongings.
Her gaze was set on the ocean; the first thing she was doing was getting in that water!
With a gleeful bark, she barreled towards the water, diving head-first into the salty waves.
Her head popped back up, and she laughed as the waves tossed her in every direction. Minuscule fish darted around and under her paws, and the Kia watched them as she slowly churned her feet back and forth.
