Kia Name;;
Valtameri

Meaning;;
Valtameri is ocean in finnish, I thought
it was very intricate, just like her design.

Gender;;
Female. I tried to picture this beauty
as a female; it didn't work

Story;;
I grew up with the ocean around me.
I never had any experience on the mainland, as I was
always out in the blue. I grew up alone, I had
parents, but one day, they just left me. I was
left to fend for myself, as I was also a single pup.
I never really new the power of the ocean, no big
storms had come my way, no winds blew to us, always
into the sea. Then I learned. It was a sunny day, not
a single cloud in the sky, but no birds either.
I didn't know what was wrong. But then I saw.
Over in the distance, a dark cloud, a misty sheet beneath.
I had no idea about what to do. I freaked out, shouting
into the seaminglessly empty skies. Then the air grew
damp, raindrops peppered the ground, the waves
crept higher on the beach. My paws guided me to
a palm, rather tall and rough, a spray of leaves at
the top. I mindlessly scrambled to the top.
Then the waves came
I closed my eyes, gritting my teeth. Sand and wind
blew into my fur, waves rocked the palm. I didn't
know what happened next, I probably lost consciousness.
I found myself down on the beach again, calm waves
lapping at my paws. But was it a beach? I couldn't tell.
I could feel myself thinking.
It's okay, Valtameri. It's alright.
Because when I looked around, I could tell, it wasn't a beach.
It was an underwater cave. Not very big either; I was running
out of air.

In all my life, I had only dreamed of coming down to one
of these caves. But it's only now that I come down.
And when I o reach this place, I'm in danger.
Well, it's a quite bittersweet gift.
Come on, Valta, theres no time to derp around.
I need to get out.

So I went 'yolo' and jumped right in, letting out a gasp.
The water was ice cold, but I couldn't do anything about it.
I saw light above me, and I took the first stroke up.
And that first movement, it let me know. The sea
stole me, and she was never gonna give me back.

the jewel of the ocean
How I became the sea; owl city wrote:June was the lobster shell
I dug by hand
A haven that hid me well
Beneath the sand
The wide windy waves washed in
But I stayed dry
The great breakers broke again
As I nodded off inside

And then
When the Empress ran aground
And my eyes turned blue and green
I heard a gorgeous sound
And that's when it became a dream

When the sky fell in
When the hurricanes came for me
I could finally crash again
And that's how I became the sea

I wrenched the engines off
And drank them down
The depths turned the iron soft
As they swiftly drowned
And I brought the ocean side
To its rusty knees
As I felt the even tide
Deep in my shallow dreams

And then
When the Empress ran aground
And my eyes turned blue and green
I heard a gorgeous sound
And that's when it became a dream
When the sky fell in
When the hurricanes came for me
I could finally crash again
And that's how I became the sea

When the sky fell in
When the hurricanes came for me
I could finally crash again
And that's how I became the sea
That's how I became the sea
That's how I became the sea

A NEW FRIEND
Oceana was on the beach. As usual. A normal morning, Oceana loves to walk on the beach in the morning. She had wet sand in between her toes. The mornings are so beautiful around here. Oceana thought. The ocean roared and splashed on the sand spraying Oceana. She didn't care though, she kept walking.
Close to the afternoon Oceana headed home and on her way back she heard a noise. "bark!"
"What was that?" Oceana looked around but couldn't find anything that could make that noise.
"BARK!" She heard it again! Following a series of little yipping noises came another bark. Oceana listened and walked into a pink hibiscus bush. In the bush lay a tiny, baby, puppy.
"What is a widdle puppy like you doing out in a place like this?" Oceana picked up the puppy as it whimpered. "Who do you belong to little one?" She asked as though the puppy could talk but it just barked instead. Oceana took the puppy home with her to her hut on the beach. "We need to make some 'found' posters for you! just stay right here while I get a picture. Oceana took a picture of the puppy and she printed some posters. It had been awhile since her printer jammed up.
Oceana came out of her tiny office and didn't see the puppy. "Come here little puppy!" She called. He didn't come. "Great. I just LOST a FOUND puppy! How does that even work?!" Oceana went into her kitchen. No puppy there. Living room? Nope. Bedroom? Oceana walked into her bedroom and turned on the lights. She saw the puppy sitting on top of her pillow. He was panting, tongue hanging out and all that good stuff. Oceana sighed. "What am I supposed to do with you..... until we find your owner of course." Oceana thought. "Well you need a name. How about.... Alex?" The puppy looked up at her with large eyes. "Alex it is then." Oceana laid down. "We'll put up the posters tomorrow." Scout fell asleep at her feet.
That morning Oceana took Alex on the walk with her. They put up the signs and asked people if he was their dog. Everyone said no. Oceana sat on a bench and put her head in her hands and her elbows on her knees. She sighed. Oceana stared at the ocean, her face had gone blank, all she could think about was the ocean. Meanwhile, Alex clawed at the rope that was tied around his neck. That rope served as a collar and a leash. He chewed and bit at it. eventually he gave up biting and started pulling. POP! Scout was free! The rope poped off his head and he was off. Oceana looked up. "C'mon Alex. Let's go." She looked down at the empty leash. In a flash she was running down the dock after Alex. "ALEX! COME BACK!" Alex zipped around a corner and was gone. "Alex!" Oceana stopped.
Around this corner was a small pet shop. An old kia sat there petting Alex. "I see you found my dog." She rasped.
Oceana smiled "So he's your dog!" Then she frowned "Oh... well, I'm happy he's back home. I have to go." The old kia raised her hand. "I never said anyting about him being my dog."
Oceana stopped "Yes you did. Just a second ago." The other kia shook her head. Oceana was confused.
"Do you have a dog?" The kia asked.
"No."
"Do you want a dog?"
"Well... yeeeeaaaaah."
"I'm to old to take care of such a young puppy... why don't you take care of him for me?"
Oceana jumped up "Really?! You'll let me keep him?!"
"Why not?" The kia smiled.
That night Oceana bought Alex a new collar and got some puppy toys to chew on. Instead of letting him chew on the remote. Alex and Oceana were best friends forever.
THE END

Okay, so I got back on Australia a few days ago, and I couldn't think of a better way to share how much I love this kia and my trip than to tell you my story through this wonderful kia. The story Panamuna tells is what I actually did on my trip. Yes, I really did these things.

Username:
My name is PurpleDirewolf2015, but I go by Purple or Dire.
Kia Name:
I would name this kia Panamuna, but he'd go by Pan.
Meaning:
Panamuna an Aboriginal word meaning ocean. The Aboriginal are the original people who settled Australia, before the white man came there. So, because I love Australia and highly respect the Aborigini people, and because this guy is themed off of the ocean, I thought this name would fit him well.
Gender:
I see this kia as a male.
Story:
"Hi there! My name is Panamuna, which means ocean, but you can call me Pan. I just had the trip of my life, and it revolved around the ocean, which is my favorite
Image
thing in the world, so I have quiet a story to tell. It all started on Phillip Island, Australia. That day, I went on a tour around the island. I saw a lot of wildlife on theisland itself, wallabies, swans, even sea lions. But they weren't the reason I was on Phillip Island. No, I had come to see a nightly event callthe penguin parade. Every night, the smallest species of penguins, called little blue penguins, came in from the ocean and onto shore after several days of hunting. And lucky me, I had the best tickets you could get. So, when the sun started going down, I went to my spot, front row of one of the sets of bleachers, with one of the paths the penguins took going in between the bleachers. It was high tide, to the waves almost came up to my feet, even on the bleachers. Soon, I started hearing little quacks and soon there were small groups of little penguins swimming to shore! We cheered them on as the desperately tried to climb up over the rocky hill to get to there dens. They were literally only a few feet away from me!

After that night, I decided to drive Australia's famous sight seeing road, The Great Ocean Road. This road brought me out to Australia'ssouthern coast, which at some
Image
points had me looking down at the ocean from a beautiful cliff, and at some points had me nearly level with the ocean. The view itself was awe inspiring. Sometimes, I pulled over just to watch the waves crash into the shore or the cliffs, or even to watch some of the surfers. I was a bit scared to swim though. Although I love the ocean, I am scared of sharks. And since there were penguins, there were seals. And because there were seals, there were at least great whites in the water. At one particular stop, I went whale watching, but from an on land platform. I was lucky that day. There was a mommy and baby right whale swimming just off shore. Another stop was my two-day trip to Kangaroo Island. I had to take a ferry over there, but it was worth it. One of the beaches let you get really close to the sea lions that lives there. There was actually a male sleeping partially on the path. I walked for a bit on the shore, watching the sea lions that surrounded us, watching them swim in the water, and even watched a younger male challenge a bigger male. He whimped out. But there was a juvenile, only about a year old, that walked right in front of us, giving us the cutest looks you could imagine. A pregnant female did the same thing. She kept looking over her shoulder at us in the most adorable way. After Kangaroo Island, I went inland, because who could go to Australia and not see the famous Ayers Rock, now known as Uluru? I spent a few days there before heading to Port Douglass on the northern shore, a town famous for one thing in particular, on of the seven wonders of the world: The Great Barrier Reef.

Image
Now, there are many things you can do related to The Great Barrier Reef in Port Douglass. You can go on a glass bottom boat ride, go snorkeling, go on a sunset boat ride, but there was one thing I was nervous and excited to try: scuba diving. I had never scuba dived before in my life, and with my fear of shark and my sensitive ears, the whole thing made me nervous. But I kept telling myself, if I was going to be brave and try scuba diving anywhere, it had to be here. So, I signed up for an introductory scuba diving lesson/tour. We ran through the safety, how to equalize yourself to counteract the pressure, the tank and how to use it, and before I knew it, we were suiting up. The tank was heavy, but luckily, the instructors had us sit down on the back of the boat with our feet dangling off while they put the tank on. Next thing I knew it, I was in the water. We did some drills at one meter, just to make sure we really understood the gear, before we headed down to further. The reef was amazing. The fish were everywhere. Parrotfish of all colors, clown fish, blue tangs, butterfly fish, more fish than I know the name of. I actually held a pineapple sea cucumber on my first dive. The coral was all different colors,
Image
and there were fish covering almost every inch of them. I was a bit sad when we resurfaced, so I immediately signed up for a second dive. It would be at the third spot we visited on the reef. Once there, I suited up again, and a bit quicker this time, I was in the water and diving down again. This spot was even better than the last. More fish, more coral. I held another sea cucumber, a plain black one this time, and a blue star fish. The biggest fish I saw was on this dive, an enormous dark blue parrotfish. We also got a glimpse of three other amazing animals. One was a sea turtle. It was so cool, but we weren't allow to harass it, meaning no following it, so we just watched it for a moment. The second I was a bit more scared of, a white tip shark. We watched it for a moment, but it had no interest in us, so we continued on. The third was another shark, but I wasn't as scared of it, a nurse shark. The whole experience was fun, but we only had a limited amount of air, so eventually we had to resurface. The next day, we headed into the rainforest, since this is one of the few spots in the world that the rainforest goes right to the ocean. In one look out spot, you could see the beach, the rainforest, and part of the reef at the same time! I wish I could have stayed there longer, but I had one more city to visit, the famous city that Finding Nemo was center around: Sydney.

Image
Sydney. The city on the harbor. I didn't have much time in Sydney, but I did go on a harbor tour and see part of the city from theocean. I saw the famous opera house and the harbor bridge, and the crazy people climbing it. After the tour, I headed into the Sydneyaquarium, to try to see some of the animals I may have missed. Surely enough, they had a pair of elusive platypuses,(platypi?) and the endangered dugong, a relative to the manatee. They also had sea horses, sea dragons, jellyfish, eels, an octopus, little blue penguins, reef fish, crabs, and a variety of sharks and rays. It was really cool to see these animals, even if it wasn't in the wild. Sadly, this was the last day of my trip, and although I had the time of my life, I was ready to tackle the three flights I needed to take to get back home."

All art was drawn by me. I'm not the best, I don't think anyone else could have gotten what I was trying to show.[/color]

Yes, you heard her. She's nine years young.

g e n d e r;;
"Are you kidding me right now? I am obviously a female! Take a hint. Princess Moana!"
Your highness, calm down, please. They were just asking because they're curious, but yes, she is a female.

"Hehe, you'll be surprised by a lot of things that I like to do in my free time!
Yes, yes you will.

Surfing
Yes. You may be a bit surprised by this one, but she does love to surf! Must you know, she does live in Hawaii.
"Haha, hang ten, dude!"

Horseback riding
Yes, Princess Moana loves to horseback ride, especially on the beach. She will usually sneak out on the middle of the night and ride her horse, Zoe, and they'll try to find any creatures that washed up on the beach.
"Yeah, one time. Zoe and I found a squid! It was gross!"
Yes, I bet that was amazing.
"Oh, it was! It was missing an eye!
Okay, your highness, we get it. We should move on.

Swimming
Princess Moana loves to swim. Anytime she can, she swims either in the ocean near her house or in the pool. You will always find her in water. Always.
"Yes butler, you're right! I love to swim. But you forgot I like to swim Zemmy! Man, he always finds the coolest thing ever! One time, we find a stingray. It was soo cool!"
I bet it was, your highness.

Talking
I don't know of you noticed this at all. But she loves to talk. She obviously cannot stop talking!
"Hey, that's not very nice!"
It's ok, your highness. I'm just teasing you.
"You better be! I will tell my mommy and daddy, and they'll have you fired. "
I'm sorry, your highness. I won't do it again.
"You better not!"

Horses
Yes, Princess Moana loves horses.
"Yes I do!"

Dislikes;;
"Ugh, we should skip this! There are too many to name!"
It's ok, your highness. I will just name them.
Princess Moana doesn't like;
• Reading
• Staying still
• When people talk to her in a rude manner
• Babies
• Math
• Cold weather
• Rain
• Spiders
• Orange Juice
• watching tv
• being patient- She wants it NOW
• cars
• flying

p e t s;;
"Ooh, I waited for this for a while! Can I name all of them, please?!"
No, your highness. I will do it.
"Fine."
Alright, let's get started.
Zoe (F)
Myst (M)
Shadow (F)
Twilight and Moon (Twilight is the black one (M), Moon in the white one (F))
Brownie (F)

Zemmy (M)
Jazzmine (F)

Bree (F)

w h e r e - s h e - l i v e s;;
Princess Moana lives off the beach of Waimea Bay in Oahu in Hawaii. The Princess lives in this house by the ocean. This is her room. Nice, huh? Well, she never really visits there! Her parents own 2 acres of land for Princess Moana to ride her horses. These are the stables that Princess Moana keeps her horses. Her jumping house is here, but she rarely visits there. She likes to ride freely. There is one part of 'her' land that she calls her calm spot. She. She wants to get away from the world for a bit, she goes here. She basically owns this spot. You must know her secret password, or you won't be able to come in.
"Yeah. That's right! No one knows it except me and Jazzmine!"
Your highness, I know the password, too.
"What is is then?"
It's Jazzmine, your highness.
"Dadrn! Now I have to change if again!"

s t o r y;;
I'll let my butler tell you about that. I just want my tea."
Alright, let's begin. Moana was born one a windy Friday night. Her parents were poor, so they couldn't afford to keep her any longer. Her parents gave her to an orphanage and she lived there for 5 years. She was treated like a princess and everyone loved her, except many of the children. When she turned 6, the staff had a important present to give Moana. A new family. The owner of the orphanage knew her present mother, and told her that they have a special child up for adoption. Her mother was very excited because she couldn't have any children. They adopted Moana on her birthday, and ever since, they had a huge party ever year on that day. Now into why they call her 'Princess Moana.' Well, the lady who owned the orphanage told her mother that she was more like a princess than a child. Well, that's how she got the name 'Princess Moana.'
Once Moana was old enough to walk, her parents bought Moana her first horse. His name was Lucky, and she loved him very much. They could never be separated. Every chance she got, Princess Moana rode Lucky until she fella asleep on his back! Then one windy night in the middle of June, Lucky became very ill. The doctors came, but they didn't know what was wrong and they only had once choice. They had to out Lucky down. Moana was devastated. She laid in her room for days and did absolutely nothing. You could hear her cries from downstairs. She would always scream 'I'm never getting another pet again!' out her bedroom window every night as she glanced up at the night sky. Her parents were heartbroken to see their little princess like this. The didn't have a choice, but they bought another horse. Well, she was a foal then. They went up to Moana's room, and took her downstairs by force. Yes, by force. There was no other way for her to go downstairs. Her parents happily showed Moana Shadow and there was an instant bond. To this day, Moana still favors Shadow out of every pet.
