Hello,I'm Eeveeprincess01. I'm a non-owner,but that's because I don't enter for kia's often. ^^

I have chosen the name Kookaburra for this beautiful Kia. I'm pretty sure you know,but a kookaburra is an Australian bird with an unusual laughing call. When I first saw her I thought of the bird,and thus her name was born. ^^

First meet~

When you first meet Kookaburra,you might think she's a really lazy kia. Most of the day she sits in her gum tree,sometimes with her favorite drink,strawberry lemonade,taking long naps. Kooka is half nocturnal,up most of the night thinking and studying the stars. But as you get deeper,you'll see that there is more to her than she seems...

Kooka is kind. She will do anything to make you smile. If your feeling blue,she won't stop until you smile,no matter what.


Kookaburra is brave and loyal. She will take a bullet for anyone,even a complete stranger. She will fight. Not for the glory,not for the fame,but to help. She will do anything to help everyone,even if it meant to take her own life to do it.


Kookaburra is a total tomboy,she's not afraid to get her paws dirty. Most of the time though she's doodling in her book,so she doesn't get her paws dirty a lot.

Everybody is doing unusual colors like pink or red,and almost everyone is doing two colored eyes. I know it's less interesting,but for her eye color I chose good-old fashioned dark brown. It's not as interesting as some others,but I like it. ^^

For Kookaburra's hairstyle I have decided to keep your long hair style,but I have but a small braid in the middle of her hair,as shown above. It's simple yes,but it's very beautiful.

Kookaburra only has 3 feathers. All three are kookaburra feathers; one from the face (small fluffy),one from the wings (medium one,slicker),and one from the tail (longest,smooth and slick). The one from the face and the tail are on her tail,and the wing feather is wrapped around her ear. Yes I did say WRAPPED not PEARCED. Kooka doesn't want to get her ear pierced,so she just wraps her feather tightly around her ear.

Kooka only has two other Accessories,her hat and her boomerang charm.

Australian Hat-

Kooka's hat is very special to her. She's had it ever since she could remember. It's an old,dirty hat that she loves to death. You will NEVER see her without it on,the only time you see her without it is when she sleeps,and even then she cuddles it like a teddy bear.



Boomerang charm-

Kooka made her little charm out of gum tree wood. Even though it's small,it took her moons to make,and it really works. Sometimes she'll flick her tail fast enough for the charm to fly off,then she'll catch it a few seconds later and put it back on the string.

Native American name meaning 'deer'.
I chose this name for multiple reasons. I knew coming into this that I wanted to give him a Native American feeling, so I was set on giving him a Native American name. After I started designing him, I realized that I'd given him multiple accessories that involved deer in someway and his design had a bit of an over-all feeling of deer to me [he looks sort of like a piebald fawn to me].
It's also just a nice sounding name, in my opinion.

Both eyes are green, but the right eye is a lighter shade.
Moki is completely color blind in both eyes. However, his right eye has very little depth perception and he can only see shapes with it.

Moki has a somewhat spiky mohawk mane with longer strands looped around his ears and horns. He also has a loose, long strand of hair, a braid and one strand of bound hair on his left side. A strand of bound hair replaces the strand of loose hair on the right side.

Most of Moki's accessories have been passed down through his family for generations. The males in his family take all of their father's unique accessories [if they have any, which frequently they don't, and piercings are often made into other types of accessories] and one of their unique feathers [the feathers they are given when they are 2 years of age] when he dies. They also take all of their other feathers and accessories [all of the things that have been taken from their father when he died] when he dies. All of the accessories he's acquired through his family are listed below.

*Bracelet. He has a bracelet on his front left paw. It's made up of a maroon feather and a charm. The charm is a sliver of a deer antler with a kiamara paw print carved into it; through the years the part that is carved out has been painted red by someone other than it's creator. Moki's also added a small golden chain to the bracelet.
*Dream Catcher. Moki's dream catcher has a base of two twigs woven and banded together. The three feathers are all different, coming from different ancestors. The string that it hangs from is beaded, as are the strings the feathers are on. Fringe is on the bottom of the dream catcher, most are in between the feathers. It was made by one of the earliest males to participate in this tradition as a way to wear the feathers of previous family members in a more simple way. Where the dream catcher is located varies; sometimes it's wrapped around his tail, sometimes it's in his hair, sometimes it's wrapped around an antler, and sometimes he wraps it around both antlers and lets it hang in between them.
*Tail Cluster. He has a cluster of things wrapped around tail [sometimes the placement of it changes, but it's generally near the base of his tail]. It has two feathers [one appearing to be a blue-jay feather], two fringe-type strings, a beaded string and a charm. The charm is a sliver of deer antler that's had a tribal bear print carved into it. Like the charm on his bracelet, it has been painted red by someone other than the original maker.

Moki also has a few accessories that he's created himself. Those accessories are listed below.

*Deer Cage/Spine/Tail. Moki broke the ribs of a deer and sometimes wears it.
*Feather Cluster. He took two feathers from previous family members and tied them together with one of his own feathers. He hangs it from his right horn.
*Piercings. Moki has two plugs in both ears, an industrial bar in his left ear, and two plugs in his tail. The larger ones in his ears are normally jade spirals. All plugs can be changed.

Moki's horns are about as long as he is tall [at the shoulder]. They look almost as though two horns have grown together with a gap in between them, similar to how trees may look when they grow together. His horns, like that of the elk, shed. However, they shed in

Moki is an odd character, and quite a contradiction. He is quirky, very bold and quite opinionated. He suffers from ADHD and mild OCD as well as limited vision, which makes him more prone to being defensive and standoffish than he otherwise would be. He also tends to be grumpy and sarcastic, but in a lovable -and not uncaring- way. Despite this, though, Moki can be very helpful and friendly and enjoys the company of others, so long as they're not new faces. He's also overly protective of those he cares about or those that are weaker, and can be quite gentle towards those younger or weaker than him.

*Apple Obsession. Moki's love of apples borders on insane obsession. He greatly prefers them to any other fruit and can often be seen eating them, as he always seems to have them. His favorite sound is the almost hollow sound and apple makes it when you tap it.
*Strawberry Red Tea Obsession. He hates strawberries, but strawberry red tea is his favorite drink. He also enjoys making strawberry red tea smoothies.
*Prefers Sleeping in Trees. Moki isn't particularly fond of heights, but he loves sleeping in trees. He finds the view to be relaxing and the branches comfortable. He also loves the bird chirping and the rustle of leaves.
*OCD Tendencies. As previously stated, Moki has mild OCD. He doesn't obsess over the things that most people with OCD obsess over. Instead, partially because he can only see shapes in his right eye, he tends to obsess about the shapes of thing, especially his apples.
*Night Owl. He prefers being up at night and frequently stays up until the sun rises. He's definitely not a morning person, as he is very grumpy in the morning and his eyes bother him more in the morning. Moki's eyes are also somewhat more sensitive to light than normal, so bright days cause him discomfort.
*Cold > Hot. Moki prefers cold weather to hot weather. He's not entirely sure why, but he finds the cold more comfortable and enjoys it greatly.
*Insomnia. Most nights, he doesn't get much sleep and what sleep he does get doesn't come easy. Moki generally gets around three hours of sleep, but he gets even less sleep if he's not sleeping in a tree. He can go several nights without sleep and be almost completely unaffected.

This kia's name is Amy, but some of her friends and family call her kitten because of the marking on her tail that looks like a cat paw.

Amy is a female kiamara, I really couldn't imagine her as anything else. She is too beautiful to be female.
