A soul never dies,
They are just reborn to us,
In a new body.
username;;
the. Marshmallow.Owl
name;;
Ash
She reminds me of an ash cloud, so I named her after the smokey dust. A simple, yet beautiful name, just like her.
gender;;
Female
eye color;;
A piercing ruby red, with amber highlights:

hair style, length;;
Long, slightly wavy hair that is loosely tied back into a ponytail. It also has some red & gray beads woven into it.
feather placement and color;;
The feathers are died cardinal feathers meant to look like the mythical phoenix's feathers. They look somewhat like this:

One would be tucked into her ponytail, two tied onto her front right paw, one on her back left paw, and three on her tail
other accessories;; (optional!)
She has three:
1. A phoenix tail plume petrified and turned into a necklace
2. Deep red leather lace-up gauntlets on her front and back legs.
3. A puffy little phoenix baby plush that she duck-taped onto her shoulder. Thrifty!
horns;; (optional)
She has horns that curl backward then straighten out, like deer antlers but with no spikes. These act as a sort of perch to other woodland animals such as birds, rodents, and sometimes even larger animals like cats and hawks. Having such large horns makes it hard for her to keep them clean, so leaves and vines get tangled in them. But natrually, all things die, so the leaves tangled in her antlers are shrivield up and dead, matcing her ashy-colored coat.

I didn't always look like this...
I used to live in a forest, lush and green, full of friendly creatures. I was happy jumping from tree to tree, looking for fruit and berries to eat. But one day, a spark was ignited. I didn't see it at first, I smelled the smoke that was engulfing trees. I heard the crackling flames. Then I saw it. The fire surrounded everything, there was no way out for any of us. Even the birds couldn't fly away from the fire, it crowned the canopy like a deadly ring. I heard a screech, and looked on the forest floor to see a young eaglet that had fallen from it's nest. It was crying for it's mother, who was probably too scared to fly out of her nest. A flaming branch fell to the ground, blocking the eaglet from view. It had probably died from force of impact, but if it hadn't, it would die from the flames. My fluffy green coat was getting covered in ash and embers, and I knew that at some point, I would share that eaglet's fate. So I just closed my eyes, brushed the braid out of my face, and waited to die. A emense amount of heat surrounded me, engulfed me, then everything went black.
I woke up to find the forest burnt to the ground. Only a few trees remained, and they were charred to the bone. I looked around to see the charred bodies of animals surrounding me, their mouths still open in terror. I stopped to look at myself in the pool of water that I always drank from. My body was covered in brown, ashy spots, and my hair has turned a charred black. My braid had fallen out, so my hair hung loosely in my face. I tried to brush the ash out of my fur and hair, but it wouldn't come out. That's odd... My eyes had also turned a ruby red to match the fire that surrounded me not too long ago. My entire look had changed, it was like I had been... Suddenly, a noise sounded from a branch not too far away. It was the same branch that had fallen on the eaglet. I walked over and picked it up, but all I saw was a pile of ashes. Suddenly, the pile began to stir, and a large flame errupted. Inside it, I could see the silouette of a bird, and once the flame died down, I couldn't believe what I saw. A phoenix! The bird looked around, then took flight, trailing a small amount of flames behind it. I looked down at the remaining ashes, and saw a tail plume that the phoenix must have left behind. I took it, and wrapped it around my neck. I then looked back at the ash pile. Ash. My new name will be Ash. And so I took the feather, and walked out of the dead forest never to return. All I was following was the flames left behind by the Phoenix, hoping to find it again some day.
HUGE WIP.
