Hi! I'm Squid!, just a normal CS user who loves Kiamara adopts
and someday hopes to have one of these beauties to call my
own. You can call me Squid! or Squiddy or whatever you
want. C:
I do have a fanforum, but I don't do much but browse on it,
as I have no Kia yet. If I were to obtain little Kissara here,
I would be quite active. My name is Squid! on there, too.
Image
I decided on the name Princess Kissara for this royal
beauty because it sounds unique, and if I win her,
I want her to be unique from other Kiamaras,
because she is so diverse already.
Her very close friends call her Kissa
{KEY-sa} But most everybody else calls
her Princess Kissara.
Pronunciation- KEY-sar-a

Image
Image
The name Kissara doesn't
exactly have a meaning,
it is just a name that I
found fit her. I do know
that her nickname, Kisa,
means 'knight in shining
armor' and although
she likes how the name
sounds, she dislikes the
meaning of it. Since her
friends know that, they
tease her by calling
her 'Our knight in shining
armor!'

{{{Take a closer look...

Image
Kissara can be described as restless. The royal Kiamara always needs to get her paws into an activity or project, she feels useless without being able to do things. Sure, she would have a lot of power as the Queen of Kiamaras, and a lot to do as well, but Kissara really enjoys walking around the village with other Kias, giving away bread that she baked herself and buying things from them for prices way above what they are asking. Because Kissara wants all of her subjects to feel loved by her and her royal family. In this way she is wise because, although her father- the King- thinks that the people should fear the government, Kissara knows that it should be the other way around. The whole village outnumbers those of higher authority, leaving them at a major disadvantage if there was ever a revolt of the citizens. Kissara wants all the Kias in the village to both like and respect her, always staying in their good graces.
Kissara likes to always be the center of attention- it is the way she grew up, after all. And it's pretty easy to grab attention with how she looks- a pristine silver jeweled sapphire crown perched atop her mahogany hair along with two raspberry ribbons trailing behind; a huge cranberry bow around her neck with a pure silver bell attached to it, some gold beads hanging below; another bow of the same color tied around her tail, more gold beads hanging from it. And those eyes. Those pristine, blue eyes, the same color as her paw pads. She finds attention with her beauty alone, not to mention her royalty and generous personality. Without attention for her to feed on, Kissara would feel angry.
Kissara is a major tea lover- there is not a day that goes by when she doesn't ask for tea from her servants. Her favorite tea is Oolong, as she likes how it calms her when she is nervous. Her Kia citizens often give her tea for her royal birthday bash, which she appreciates greatly. She loves knowing that they care and know about her. Sometimes, you will see her using her silver tea set- a family heirloom- to serve her many stuffed animals and animal companion, Lavender.
This beautiful Kiamara is very bold- as a royal, she expects to be respected by many and hated by few. She has high expectations of her citizens and holds them to the mistakes they make, although she isn't yet the queen. She holds herself with much authority and integrity, not stepping down when she herself is held accountable for something. It is nearly impossible to make Kissara apologize for something- even when she knows darn well that she did do something wrong. She can be snarky to other Kias if they rub her the wrong way, but that should be expected of her- being brash and snippy is her specialty.
But what ever she does, Kissara is always %100 Kissara, no doubt about it.

Lavender is Kisa's animal companion. As a miniature Persian cat, Lavender is able to fit into nearly any
small space she finds. Kissara often finds the tiny cat in small nooks and crannies all over the royal
palace. Lavender is best decribed as grumpy and antisocial. The only way that Kissara can have
tea parties with Lavender is if she holds her down with her tail! Although the fluffy cat is antisocial,
she will follow Kisa when she is in the town, probably basking in the luxury of attention just as much
as the princess does.

Kissara

"Hi there, I'm Squid! I just want to ask your majesty a few questions that the other Kias would love to hear the answers to. Are you up for it, Princess?"
"Of course! I love when other Kias are interested in me, although I do like to try and 'fit in' sometimes, if that's possible."
"Haha, well I'm glad you are willing to answer these questions. So the first one that has just been popping up all over the place is are you going to the Kiamara ball?"
"Of course! I like to get to know the other Kiamaras, so going to the ball is a definite yes for me. I already have one that is being made by the best seamstress in the village, made with the finest materials. I will look wonderful!"
"That's great! Are you going to have a date to this ball?"
"I don't have one as of now, but I am definitely thinking about a few options. I've always been a little boy-crazy, so going without a date would be a first for me."
"Alright, another question is, are you are ready to take the throne when you are put to it?"
"Please, I've been groomed to take the place of my parents since I was born. Plus, I don't think I'm too dumb with the people either- I know what I'm doing when it comes to ruling my subjects. If anything, I'm excited to take the place of my parents."
"I'm glad to know that the Kia kingdom is in good hands. Any ideas on who will be the lucky King?"
"As I said, I have been considering my options. I do have a few mates in mind, and I'm planning on asking one to the ball."
"Okay. Last but not the least of the questions, are you planning on having any kids?"
"Gosh, that is a hard question. I've never been very good with the little ones, but I would love to have one of my own. Just one. Two would be too much. But I would love a little sunshine to light up my world."
"Thank you for answering the questions of the people!"
"Always glad to help!"

Just a few things...

Username:
    ♦♦ Ralonica Thorondor

~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
Name:
    ♦♦ Adelaide
~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~

Meaning:
    ♦♦ Adelaide is the English form of a Germanic name, from Old High German Adalheidis.
    Means "noble natured", or "of noble kind".

~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
Age:
    ♦♦ 3 years.
~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~

On the outside...

Physique:
    ~ Overall; ~
      ♦♦ A willowy young lady, Adelaide is a wee bit taller than most, and is long and slim. She has a very elegant way of moving, and isn't very strong and has low endurance, but she is quite swift when it comes down to it and she has incredible agility.
    ~ Face; ~
      ♦♦ She has a dainty, almost fox-like head, with big, expressing eyes. Her ears are long and slim, and her hair is fine and silky.
    ~ Body; ~
      ♦♦ A slightly elongated body, but not out-of-proportion. She is slim, but not abnormally slim - just naturally slim. Other young gals are jealous of her physique, but they don't realize it's just in her genes and the way she is.
    ~ Legs; ~
      ♦♦ Long and sinewy, her legs are the longest thing about her, and they give her just a bit of extra height. They mean she can jump just a little bit higher, and her strides are just a little bit longer than most. But they don't give her any extra strength - to tell the truth, Adelaide is a bit weaker than most.
    ~ Paws; ~
      ♦♦ Unlike the rest of her, Adelaide has big paws. They are in proportion to her height, but have made her unfortunately clumsy at times.
    ~ Tail; ~
      ♦♦ A long, dexterous tail, with a silky end, just like her hair. She likes flicking it in other kia's faces when they get annoying.
    ~ Posture & Stride; ~
      ♦♦ She has a naturally straight posture - she sits up without thinking about it, from the long training in good manners and posture from her parents, but when she is grumpy she will purposely slouch, to disobey her parents. She has a long stride that her mother fruitlessly tried to shorten into dainty steps. Her long legs eat up the ground quickly, and her mother tut-tuts under her breath when she sees her walk, as she sees it un-feminine to take such big steps.
    ~ Voice; ~
      ♦♦ Her voice is very clear and she enunciates her words correctly all the time. Again, training from her loyal mother to make her into a princess. But when she gets cross, she purposely makes her voice sound harsh and grating, not pronouncing her words properly to make her mother cringe. But inside, she naturally likes saying things properly and often corrects other kiamaras when they say things such as "me and Adelaide" instead of "Adelaide and I".
      When she sings, Adelaide has a high, soprano voice. She has never been good at singing low notes, so her lower range is not very good, but her upper range is quite extensive.
    ~ Manner; ~
      ♦♦ Although her social skills aren't the best, Adelaide has beautiful manners. She always says 'please' and 'thank-you', when it suits her to do so. Adults often smile and get misty eyes when she comes up all sweet, lovely and with good manners. But her manners are somewhat lost on her generation.

~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting to know me...
Personality ~ Scratching the surface:
    ~ What her parents say; ~
      ♦♦ "Our darling Adelaide, our little princess. She's growing into such a beautiful young kiamara, acting like the lady we always knew she was. Oh, we love her so - never failed to give her anything, made sure she has never been without. We have also taught her how to act proper - Oh so proper! - teaching her how to speak, walk and act like a princess so that others can see the blue blood in her. She's a lovely little girl, and we love her to the ends of the world.
      Of course, perfect as she is, she has a few tiny flaws. She is confident, but also remarkably stubborn. But we always knew she was a leader from the beginning, and to know she has such skills is reassuring. But her temper! Sometimes she can be so hard to control. When she's angry, she says things like "I wish you would stop treating me like a baby!". But she doesn't seem to understand that she will always be our little girl. Of course, she never gets angry from us failing to give her things. She gets angry from us not letting her do things. But she's still our little one, and as our only pup, how can we let her go off frolicking all on her own? I can't bring myself to think of what could happen to her!
      Our lovely Adelaide always tries to please everyone. She tries so hard, but sometimes she feels somewhat disconnected to others. But only occasionally, of course. And she would never feel disconnected to us. But sometimes I feel like others don't try to please her as much as she tries to please them. Of course, we, her parents, always try our hardest to please her. We give her anything she wants. But then you have things you can't give her, like loyal friends.
      She used to throw such dreadful tantrums when she was little. But she hardly does now, and even then, you can't call them tantrums. Just another sign she's growing up.
      There simply aren't enough words to describe our little Adelaide. She's a darling, and the light of our world."
♦♦ ♦♦
    ~ What she says; ~
      ♦♦ "So, uh, my name's Adelaide as you would probably know. I'm just another young kiamara trying to find her way in the world, with overprotective parents and somewhat awkward social skills. I'm a bit of a loner at times, but I'm a strange one who has learnt to love their own company, as well as the company of others, occasionally, I suppose. But I like escaping to my own worlds, dancing in my own imagination - something I learnt to do when I started becoming more and more alone. I don't have too many friends, and the kiamaras I see the most are my parents.
      No, I don't dislike my parents. It's just that they are so protective over me. I want to do more things, but they won't let me. I don't like disobeying them either, but sometimes I feel I have to. And if I so much as shed a tear, they'll come at me with honey-covered words, trying to calm me down. Sometimes I just want to be left alone. When I was younger, they spoiled me even more and I utilized it well. But now I want to earn things myself. I want to achieve something, not have my parents do it for me.
      Of course, all the other adult kiamaras adore me. Ever since I was young, I learnt that you didn't have to be nice to your parents or others your age, you just had to be nice and polite to all the adults and good words about you will be told everywhere. But it didn't change my friendships with other kiamaras, unfortunately.
      Here we come to my social awkwardness. When I was little, my friends were only my friends because of what they thought they could get out of it. They wanted to be spoiled by my parents as well. They thought, that in being my 'friend', they would also be lavished by kiamaras who are too prone to cute little things. Yes. My mother and father. They weren't my friends because of who I was. I threw too many tantrums, always wanted things my way as that's how it was at home. But as we all grew older, we all grew to become less materialistic. The potential of gifts were outweighed by my bratty personality. Eventually I realised I needed to change, so I became more willing to please and more aware of those around me. I was less self-centered, and began to rebuild my character. But I still struggle, and I still worry that my friends are only that because of their own gain. And my bratty, arrogant tantrum-making side has not disappeared completely and still makes unwelcome appearances.
      That's pretty much all you need to know, warts and all. So yeah, I hope you understand me better."
~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~

But When you Delve Deeper:
    ~ Intrapersonal ~ Imaginative ~ Willing to Please ~ Stubborn ~ Awkward ~ Ambitious ~
      ♦♦ Intrapersonal ~ Throughout the years, Adelaide developed an independent streak. Wanting to break free from the endless cooing of her parents, but not overly eager to make friends, she made friends with herself. It may have branched from her being an only child, it may have branched from her infamous reputation as a bratty young child, you can't be sure. But she keeps to herself a lot of the time, often using her imagination as a retreat, thinking deeply and enjoying being alone.

      ♦♦ Imaginative ~ The truth is, Adelaide finds that real life can be boring. But when you can see faeries, goblins, fantasy creatures in a vibrant imagination, life gets better. As a young kia, a lot of her imagined games involved her being a princess. Not really surprising, but when she got older they started becoming made-up stories that she was a normal kia, and wasn't so pampered, and she squabbled with siblings she didn't have over toys she had to share.

      ♦♦ Willing to Please ~ Adelaide quickly learnt that to get the favour of others, you had to please them. After coming out of a long period of misunderstood loneliness, she tried her best to please others, to win their friendship. Something she still does, even though she is nearly grown up. The truth is, she still doesn't believe her friends really love her, and she still tries to win them over.

      ♦♦ Stubborn ~ A remnant of when she was little, and part of the left over crumbs of her bratty behavior. It can be an asset at times, but often it comes frustrating to others. Adelaide finds it very difficult to let her arguments drop - when she gets a strong idea into her head, it is next to impossible to make her get rid of it. She is just too strong-willed to let go.

      ♦♦ Awkward ~ Adelaide is socially awkward towards others her age. Extremely, hilariously, socially awkward. She rarely feels at home among others, unless they are her parents, or unless she knows them really, really, really well. She seems to always say the wrong things at the wrong time, and has a really poor list of conversation starters. She can never give a direct answer to most inquisitive questions. She knows she doesn't have fantastic social skills, but she never knew it was that bad. Of course, around adults, Adelaide is the most gorgeous kiamara to have around. But no-one really wants to have grown-ups as their best friends when you're Adelaide's age.

      ♦♦ Ambitious ~ When she was young, Adelaide's parents wanted to do absolutely everything for her. As a result, now she always has a fierce passion to do things herself. She has come to the point of refusing help of others at times when she is attempting a difficult task, as she has a desire to prove that she can do things herself. Who she is trying to prove this to, I don't know.

♦♦ ♦♦

    ~ Can be Snappy & Arrogant ~
      ♦♦ Another remnant of her previous bratty behavior that shall never go away. When wound up enough, or pushed to the breaking point, she will snap and become 'brat of all brats', as some young kia once said (they didn't like Adelaide much). She spits out some really good arguments when she is like this - years of practice, some would say - but it's just unpleasant when she gets arrogant, as everyone knows it must be bad as she tries so hard not to get angry. And when you know Adelaide's ambition and her stubborn behavior, and her willingness to please, you know she always tries very, very hard not to be nasty. Of course, she never gets angry around adults. This is a skill she honed from a young age. She saves her arrogance for her peers and parents, even if she no longer consciously does it.

        ♦♦ Story-telling. Thanks to her vivid imagination, Adelaide is fantastic at thinking up captivating stories. She loves telling them to others, especially young kias.
        ♦♦ Climbing. Canine and canine-like species aren't very good at this, but Adelaide manages. She doesn't climb to very difficult places for a human to get to, but for a kiamara? In the eyes of her species, her climbing skills are epic.

I have a question.
If we draw things to decorate our forms, do they count towards our art limit of 15 pieces?
