I feel that I owe everyone here a bit of something; You've all been wonderful companions and friends, and I'd love to give you back a little something that I have the ability to make and do successfully. I know the feeling of seeing your dream JMD designed to perfection, and I'd love to give someone that feeling, if only for a brief period of time. That, and ever since I discovered JMDs last year, I couldn't help but wonder how it felt to design for them, and to be an honorary member of the staff... It would be an honor to be allowed to design for this species.

I wouldn't apply if I didn't think I could design up to par with the rest of the staff and other applicants that apply. I've got my tablet now, which works much better than a mouse- that's what I used to design for all the other species. I've got confidence in my abilities to live up to the expectations of this thread~

Well, I've been around JMD's, it seems, since it's started. I might have been a little late to the party, but I was there. I was so excited to get my first jewel, and maybe if I was a guest artist, I could do that for someone. Give them a chance at there first jewel mane dragon. If I became a guest artist . . . wow, I'd get on my computer everyday to check on forums that were being brought in by everybody. I'd re - read all the guest artist rules - study them like for a test - wait, not like a test, like my life depends on it. {Anyway, I don't study for tests. x3} I'd make at least an hour design, and make a contest for non owners only, so they could love and cherish a JMD that they could call there own. Another contest I would make would be a long one - to test everybody - if they love the JMD or not. Another one I'd do would be a guessing one, of my favorite type of chicken or something. x3

It's over to the right, somewhere over there. Ignore my designs there, though - my computer isn't working, so those aren't my recent designs. I do a lot on paper, actually. c: If I become a guest artist, I will have to go to the library to make the designs, so . . . yeah. x3 <3

I actually have some design ideas I could share with you right now that I promise I would make. Here they are ;;
The jewel, first, would be white, and the JMD would be female. She would be the goddess of snow, so I'd like people to name her after a goddess, but not required. She would be based off of a white tiger, and would have a fang sticking out of her mouth. Her pupils would be cat like, if you'd allow it, and her paws would be fully black, and so would her eyes. Creepy, huh? Her contest would be decently long, and for non owners!
My second design would have a brown jewel, since we need some of those around. She's be green, like pinecone tree designs, with a waterfall running from down her mussle, to her stomach, down to her paws. She's be based off of a forest, yes. Her eyes would be ice blue, too. This would be a guessing contest. Pick the gender.
My last design, I'd base him off of a grey raccoon, and maybe mixed with an opossum. It'd be the brother of Medve, my JMD, and would be named Paul. It would have to be named Paul. This would be a contest for everybody, and he'd have a black jewel, with sparypainted, looks like, white ontop. People pick the jewel color. c: Be a long contest, anybody can sign up, too. c;

I think you may recognize me a few GA terms/shifts ago.
I know I wwasn't quite too much of a good designer back then.
I put the range of my designs all together in the span of about two days.
That's not very fun, putting it out in one huge drift
This time, I'd like a new clean slate.
I'd like perhaps a second chance, and show you what I've got now.

It really depends because I like to use palettes as well.

Have you been a GA before? Yes, just not here. I am currently a GA at Cherry Tree Stables and have recently been selected to be a GA for Snibbles. I am currently a full time artist at Native Spirits Ranch and Fanfare Snake Dragons, though neither have been very active as of late.

Well, I really love these lines and recently adopted two JMD, both by guest artists. I figured that it would be great to share the spirit they had and make some for others to adopt! I also won't deny that I was attracted by the prospect of creating my own custom, too.

I would like to think that I can produce something at least a little different. I hope the ideas I have in my head would be interesting and that people would want to adopt them! ^v^
