What is a hover fox?
Hover foxes are cuddly, adorable fox hybrids with unusually large furry ears. As infants they are born with very small, proportionate ears, but as they reach childhood, those ears grow so large they can use them to hover a little bit above the ground and glide short distances. Of course, that can't last and by the time they reach adulthood they do grow into their ears a bit and are no longer able to use them for 'flight'. Their diet consists of seafood and different types of sweet and sour fruit, depending on their taste preference and where they live. Most HFs grow to be the size of a red fox, though you'll occasionally get some that are larger.

When you first spot this hover fox gliding along, you notice that it's a bit wobbly. Upon closer inspection, you discover that it is blind in on eye, a scar accenting the disability. Momentarily you wonder what had happened to have given it this scar and blinded it.
Still the fox lands and curiously approaches you, tipping its head to one side in order to see you better through its one good eye. In the wild this fox likely won't have much of a chance, but perhaps you'd be willing to take it home and care for it?

Short story explaining what happened to the fox's eye: Once Tiny walked far and wide. Looking for a perfect home and one night he stopped for a rest. But then a bigger hover fox attacked Tiny! Even though the other fox was young he beat Tiny.

The fox growled " Do not ever come back! The fox drew out a claw and blinded his eye..... Tiny wimpered and ran as far as he could. Then as I walked I came across him and took him home.

Salic once walked home, and a gang of bullies came.. and.. hurt her, she was always beaten up, and was tired of it... she would always try and wiggle away, but this time when she tried, a branch cut her eye, she screamed and the bullies scattered, she didn't move, she left the branch where it was.. she whimpered for a few minutes and soon someone came to her 'rescue'. Honey, the Hover's name was Honey, and soon they became friends. (har har har)
