personality: laika is a timid wallflower. she often stays at home and studies, rather than going to
parties or hanging out with friends. the only time she hangs out with her friends is when they ask her. some
times, laika is a spunky girl, but most times not. laika is a lovable girl with a taste for success.

Laika stood with her ears down in sorrow. The humid air hung around them… Or was it grief? Her relatives, with their heads hung low, said their prayers before looking up to the coffin. It was decorated with flowers, but it wasn't enough to defuse any sadness. And there she was, in the crowd, the poor Laika who's mother had died the previous day. Her father, now hardened and tense, had never cried before… until now. You could just make out the glaze over his eyes, and soon, it seemed he had no emotions. It was all blank. And Laika's world was upside down, scrambled, and cut open. The wounds seeped deeper than the deepest cuts in the world. The poor dear, who's only idol died.

Laika sniffed silently as her stomach twisted in all directions. She looked behind her, searching for her father. But she couldn't find him. After the grieving, she finally found him. "Papa," she said as her voice cracked in fear and sadness. "Papa, I couldn't find you-"

"Of course you couldn't, you ignorant girl!" He turned around and slapped her face. "Go to your room and don't say another word! No food for you tonight!" He screamed at her, before turning around and walking away. His tail drooped on the floor.

Laika was stunned. Her father… Her loving, caring, amazing father… Had just hit her. He screamed at her. If she didn't know any better, he hated her. With that, she sobbed and ran away to her room, crying.

Years had passed, and Laika made it out of her house before running away to a shelter. Finally, she was alone. And she'd never go back. But all this time, she kept the locket with a picture of her mother's face in it.

Most of the time she likes being alone reading, listening to quiet music, or watching the clouds, and tends to find herself daydreaming at times. One way she usually gets ticked off is if someone touches her. She hates to be touched, and getting her hair style messed up. But if it's a friend, she's usually less upset.
