{ Name: Zigsa
[Zigsa is a unisex name meaning "snow leopard" in Tibetan.]
{ Nickname: Zigsa doesn't like nicknames, and just prefers to be called by her real name. She has been called Zig before though.

{ Gender: Zigsa is female
[Even though her looks may make her seem like a boy, in my heart I see her as a female.]

{ Age: 21, a young adult in human years.
{ Birthdate: February 4
{ Sexuality: Heterosexual
[Zigsa has never been very interested in love, she would rather prefer waiting for her true love than seeking out crushes. She rarely crushes on anybody, but if she had to choose between what gender she likes, she would have to choose males. It seems like its more right to do, and that liking the same gender as you just isn't appropriate.]

{ Personality: Zigsa is not very lady like. Even though she is a young adult, she prefers to live like an older teenager. She has high spirits and always hopes for the best. She enjoys to be tomboyish, even though she dresses as a girl. She can literally go from makeup to mud in just three seconds flat. There is some humor to her, if she can think of something funny to say.
Zigsa is the kind of bean who loves to laugh. Believe it or not, she really enjoys to be tickled. That's how much she enjoys a good laugh, wether its from a joke or not. She has proper manners when they're needed, even though saying please, thank you, etc isn't exactly her favorite thing to do. She loves to have good times and hang out with friends.
Zigsa is rather shy at first. It takes her a while to come out of her shell and get used to others. She has been like this all of her life and will most likely continue to be. She loves her friends and family though, and making new friends can sometimes be enjoyable to her.
She is a very smart bean, almost always thinking before she speaks and watching what she does. She respects her elders and is kind to the young.
Zigsa also loves to party. It's in her blood, and she can do nothing about it except enjoy it. Her favorite way to party is camping with friends out on Lake Gippsland in Australia. She finds it very fun to hang out late at night by the glowing waters of the lake. After seeing how much of a partier Zigsa is, you can tell she is never a party-pooper.

{ Digging a Little Deeper: Even though Zigsa seems like an all fun and games, careless bean, she really isn't. There is a soft side to her that she tries to hide from others. If someone she cares about gets kicked out of somewhere or something unfortunate happens, she will get very worried for them. Sometimes she will even shed some tears and her breathing speeds up from that happening.
Zigsa does care about what others think of her, and tries to make sure no one thinks of her as a slob. When playing softball, Zigsa gets very upset if she strikes out when up to bat. It makes her think that now the other team knows of her as a horrible player. She also gets rather mad and worried when her team makes the most stupid errors ever. She may even start to tear up sometimes over the simplest things like that.

{ Quirk(s): Zigsa loves to be tickled. She loves it so much that sometimes she will just walk up to someone and see if they'll tickle her. Sometimes she really needs to be tickled, or she'll spazz out, and sometimes she just wants to have a laugh.

{ Health problems: Zigsa doesn't have many health problems. Her eye site is good, every now and then an object will look blurry to her though. She is a very picky eater and doesn't eat many vegetables. Other than that, no. She is a very healthy bean.

Companion: Zigsa's companion is a large anaconda. She isn't just any ordinary anaconda though, she has some tufts of fur on her body and bright, vibrant colors. Her name is Donoma, a Native American Omaha name meaning "sight of the sun".
Donoma is like Zigsa, she isn't a big fan of nicknames. If she were to choose a nickname though, she would probably choose Noma or Dono. She has been called "Dono-Girl" by Zigsa sometimes, just for fun. She doesn't wear any accessories, and lives freely just like any companion would want to.
Donoma has been with Zigsa all of her life, and forever they will be the best of buddies. When Zigsa first found Donoma on the streets, years ago, she had vowed to always be by her side and never let her down. She hasn't yet broken that promise, and most likely never will. They have both always been there for each other, no matter what.
Donoma has a personality very similar to Zigsa. She is very sweet and kind, but at the same time can be rather vicious. Just like a snake is, she gets an attitude easily and defends herself (and Zigsa). She loves attention and even likes to be pet, just like many other animals do. Having a laugh is one of her favorite things, and just having fun basically. The rest of her personality is literally the same as Zigsa's.

{ Biggest Dream: Zigsa's biggest dream is to inspire other beans. To inspire other beans, she plans on becoming a famous athlete. Then she can inspire others to never give up on their dreams or anything else. She wants to make the world a better place, and inspiration might just lead some beans to better lives.

{ Biggest Fear: Zigsa has quite a bit of fears, but her biggest one has to be Donomo's death. She wishes they both had immortality, to live together forever. But since she will most likely live longer than her, she doesn't want to have to witness her death. Death has been a big fear of Zigsa's, but thinking of her loved ones dying tops all other fears.
{ Fears: Zigsa's main normal fear is the fear of monsters and aliens. She is totally fine watching them in movies or even playing video games with them in it, but when it comes to thinking about them, she gets real scared. Say she's looking out a window at night, and the thought of seeing an alien looking through the window crosses her mind. Zigsa will grab a blanket and hide under it, until she forgets all about it.
Zigsa is also afraid of death, ticks, leaches, acupuncture, and surgery. Surgery is a minor fear of her's though, the only bit she's afraid of is possibly feeling the pain while they do the surgery and waking up in pain. When just thinking about surgery or needles, she can't help but feel loopy and full of laughter.

What Zigsa thinks of herself: I think of myself as a bean who just wants to change the world. I try and do my best at everything possible, to show others that some things aren't impossible, you just have to try hard and give it your all. I'm pretty sure that other beans think of me as a know it all and a show off though, hopefully some day I can prove them wrong.

{ Story:
When Zigsa found Donoma
It was a cold, humdrum morning. Zigsa looked out the window, her royal blue eyes full of wonder and curiosity. Out in the alley, she saw a small cardboard box with the lid open. She sighed, debating wether or not to go get this box. It was starting to get bad outside. The wind had picked up and was howling furiously. Sometimes Zigsa wandered if, when the wind was blowing, it mean that the sky was mad. But the sky isn't real, she always told herself. The pitter-patter of raindrops on the windows easily told her it was raining now. Was the sky sad now? She will never know. Looking around the house, she searched for her raincoat. Zigsa had decided to go get the cardboard box. As soon as she found her coat and threw it on, she was out the door as fast as lightning.

The cold, wet ground froze her paws as she ran towards the alley. She had to step on the painful rocks to reach the box. Not even looking inside, she ran for the house. Zigsa tripped over her own feet, falling to the soaked ground. The box went flying, landing hard on the grass. It tipped over and Zigsa got worried. She got to her feet and cautiously moved towards it. Grabbing a stick, she tilted the box upright so she could look inside. Nothing was there. Was this some sort of trick? She didn't give up, knowing there had to be something in the box, as it felt full while she was carrying it. Reaching the cardboard box, her confused gaze studied the ground. She heard a hissing noise and jumped from being startled. A snake? Was this what was in the box?

There Zigsa found a baby anaconda. Not just any anaconda, a bright, vividly colored one with tufts of fur. She smiled at the little creature. Nothing else could have brightened this boring day than finding this little snake. Grabbing the box, she scooped it up and carried it inside. The whole time the anaconda baby kept lifting to head up out of the box, and staring at her with large beady eyes. Zigsa would laugh silently at the little creature, knowing it had to have been scared. She layed the cardboard box down on the table and left the room to go get a blanket. When she came back she found the box tipped over and the snake slithering around on the table. The way she moved made Zigsa smile. Because of the tufts of fur on her back, it caused her to wobble while slithering.

And there Zigsa had just found her best friend. Later that day, she fed the anaconda. Realizing it had no name yet, she gave some thought to name ideas. Since the anaconda was a girl, and oddly vibrantly colored, she named her Donoma. From that day forward they have always been together.

Psst, make him like an Assassin's Creed character? Wh-- yes. c:

:.;Name;.:
"Malfatto."

:.;Age;.:
Nobody knows except him.

:.;Gender;.:
Malfatto is a male.

:.;Birthplace;.:
Rome, Italy

:.;Personality;.:
Despite whom he is named after (and, coincidentally, born in the same city as), he is... actually mysterious and shy, like the animal he looks like. He prefers to be alone, and, due to his fluffy fur, loves the cold. He is charismatic, and vigilant.

winter in belarusian
[ general info ]

Russia is one of the 12 countries where the roughly 6000 remaining wild
snow leopards live. The others are China, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan,
Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
I felt like the name suited her, because to me it sounds rare and wild.

------------------------------------------------------
Name meaning: Zima means "winter" in Belarusian.

Age: Zima is 18. She is not as loud as some might expect from an older teen
but she likes to tempt fate, and push fear and danger to the back
of her mind. Zima would despise being called childish, and considers
herself more mature than other beans her age.

Gender: Female. I couldn't imagine the crystal blue eyes and soft,
silvery fur of this beautiful JBD as masculine.

Birthday: December 21st, 1995, is the day on which Zima was born.
She was born on the winter solstice, which is the shortest, coldest
day of the year.

Z is for zen.... Being young isn’t easy.
While this dragon may look like an adult on the outside, on the inside she's still figuring
out who she is and is going to be. Zima’s constantly trying to find that place that she
fits in the big puzzle of life. Achieving peace of mind is important to her, and often she
finds it when she is alone in the mountains, with only the sky and the cliffs around her.

I is for indescribable... Zima’s love for the mountains amounts to so much
she cannot even begin to put it into words. Every detail enchants and fascinates
her, from the brave birds of prey, to the waxy-needled conifers, to the arctic
displays of the aurora borealis she can sometimes see on winter nights, nothing
is more right in the world than when she can feel her paws on the mountains.

M is for marvel... Zima loves to show off and attempt dangerous feats,
and feel like she can do things that, if she were watching, she would marvel at. It
gives her an incredible rush, and even though her mother worries, this wild young
dragon can hardly stop herself from running headfirst at every challenge.

A is for adventure... Just as famous explorers will brave any danger, Zima finds
herself irresistibly drawn to death-defying stunts, rushes of adrenaline, and everything
that looks risky. It’s how she proves to herself that she is ready to handle whatever the
world might toss her way.

a harsh, beautiful, winter
[ personality ]

"Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is." --- German Proverb Zima is a brave dragon.
It is a quality that is impressed upon those she meets; when she is spoken of, they
remember her as brave. However, Zima is brave because she is afraid. Refusing to
be defeated by her own mind, Zima always acts on the side of recklessness over
cowardice. Fear, when she feels it, makes her so full of self-loathing that she will
go and face it, head on, challenging herself and always winning. In fact, one of her
greatest fears in being forced to admit she is afraid or weak, and not immune to her
surroundings like she would wish others to think. This is called phobophobia. Some
people have said it is a disregard for her own safety, an innate stupidity that makes
her this brave, but this doesn't bother her, and never has. They are just cowards
with their tails tucked between their legs.

"Way down deep, we're all motivated by the same desires. Cats have the courage to
live by them." --- Jim Davis
All her life, Zima has been drawn to danger. It finds her,
or she finds it, and they are a happy couple. Her parents used to joke that "Our
daughter and danger are long-lost lovers; every time they encounter each other, they
must embrace." As a child, she used to be inexplicably drawn to mountain cliffs and
poisonous snakes, and always with the favor of luck she avoided death. Now, this
dauntless dragon can define her magnetic attraction to dangerous situations as her
love for the thrill of being afraid but acting anyways. Laughing in the face or fear
and danger give her an adrenaline rush like nothing else. In the midst of angst and
terror, a clarity comes into her head that makes a ring like a sleigh bell. Some of her
favorite places to be are the sheer cliffs of mountainous Central Asia, where the wind
bites her face and pushes her against the rock. It is only here that she feels truly alive.

" Why, your eyes are like sapphires sparkling so bright.
They make the morning radiant and light." --- Thomas O'Malley, The AristoCats (1970)

Maybe it is her beauty, but if insulted, Zima has frequently been called vain.
Even her friends comment on it sometimes. True, she spends hours grooming herself, licking
between every claw and smiling into a reflective pool to check for bits of food stuck in
her long, white teeth. But, this stunning girl likes to think of it as paying herself the
necessary attention and self-respect she deserves. Having a spotless, silky coat doesn't
mean that you are flawed. It means you understand that the way you view yourself is
the way others will come to view you. Zima sees herself in the highest regard, and
believes others hold her in the same position.

"Life is to short to be anyone but yourself." Once this dragon gets it in her mind to do
something, it is very hard to stop her. She can be stubborn to a fault, and positively
refuses to do or not do something just because it seems challenging. In this regard, she
is very free-spirited, preferring to do what she loves rather than go along with the crowd.
To her, a desire to fit in is just another form of cowardice- wanting people to like you
more than wanting them to see who you really are. Why would you change yourself to be
the same as someone else? That's just boring. Bold an unabashed in her opinions, the only person who can change this dragon's mind is herself.

"I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free." --- Niko Kazantzakis Passion is a fire that
burns bright within this dragon. Although she is not extremely fond of much, whether it is
another Bean, a new pursuit, or her latest challenge, when Zima loves, she loves with all
her heart. She is fiercely loyal to the few friends she has, and would never back down
from defending them. They are her pride and her pack, and their pain is her own. Whether
out exploring or just hanging out together, they are always by her side. Unfortunately,
however, Zima has only ever experienced this kind of close-knit bond with a few Jellybean
Dragons. She tends to keep to herself, and wait for others to make the first move of
friendship. Part of this reclusiveness is her natural instinct to mistrust, which she tries to
suppress, but only if she finds she really wants to trust someone.

"Temper is just an over expression of passion. Or an uncontrollable desire to be heard.
    Either way, mine's pretty bad."
If you spend any amount of time at all with this daring
dragon, you must always beware of her fearsome temper. Even as a child, Zima was fiery
and quick to snap. Often, the only way she can find to relieve her anger is physical exertion.
Running, climbing, or simply just using up energy calms her down and clears her head,
enough so that when she returns to her anger she isn't so livid. Sometimes, Zima will simper
and stew about an argument for weeks, and has been known to hold grudges for even longer.
It is safe to assume that insulting her friends will be the easiest way to get a reaction out of
her, but Zima doesn't like arrogance either, especially from older Beans who they are stronger
or smarter than her. If this feisty dragon does blow her top, the best thing to do is just let
    her be alone.

"I'm only free when nothing can weigh me down." For some, clarity is
found in their art, or their sport, or being with those they love. For Zima, her inner peace comes
only from being in the mountains. They are her first, and so far, only love. She leaves every morning
from her mother's home, setting out before the sun rises so that she can witness it form her favorite
peak. Nothing enchants her like the mountain birds swooping to catch prey, or the way little pockets
and caves have formed in the rocks because of water ebbing them away over time. Everything about
just fascinates her, and the endless possibilities for dangerous adventure fill a space inside her that
longs for excitement. Even when Zima feels like nothing could get worse in her life, the ancient,
massive presence of the mountains calms her and reminds her that even her worst days will come to
pass. She wouldn't leave this home for anything in the world.

[ history ]
Zima was born in an isolated mountain village. Her mother was tended to by the village nurse during her
labor, which was in the dead of winter on one of the most freezing nights of the year. The other members
of their small community were concerned that the baby dragon would freeze before she was strong
enough to hatch from her egg, but the child proved a fighter, surviving the freezing temperatures huddled
with her mother in their small home. A few days after she hatched, when the doctor confirmed the baby
would most likely live, her mother decided on the name Zima, which means winter in their native tongue.
She chose it, not only for the harsh conditions during which her child was born, but for the icy beauty,
brooding anger, and bursts of excitement her daughter possessed, bring to mind a winter storm in the
dead of night.

Zima never knew her father, and her mother has yet to elaborate on him, aside from the exasperated
“We’re better off without him,” she delivered when an inquiring Zima pestered her. When she was younger,
she would more frequently ask about her father, begging and pleading and throwing tantrums, hoping for a
glimpse into his life, or why he wasn’t with her. As she grew older, though, and her mother’s answer
remained the same, the young dragon eventually stopped asking about him all together. Now, it doesn’t really
bother her that much anymore, as she feels like a real dad would have stayed to help her mother through the
childbirth, and raising of their own daughter. Sometimes she asks herself why he left, and even though the
rational part of her brain says that it had nothing to do with her, Zima still feels like it’s her fault the mysterious
father Bean left. Once, when Zima had been unrelenting in her interrogation, her mother snapped that he
“left because he was a coward. Nothing more. He didn’t deserve a beautiful child like you.” Secretly, in the back
of her mind, buried so deep even she doesn’t always know it’s there, Zima wants him to come back. Whenever
she hears her friends complain about how their fathers won’t let them do this, or got mad at them for that, she
always feels a stab of sadness, and swallows back the retort that even if she had a father ten times as mean
as theirs, she would still be grateful.

some say it suits me
[ stories ]

    fourteen
Zima ducked her head sheepishly, a rosy blush spreading across her silver cheeks. Bits of mud
and ice still clung to her fur, and runny brown stains were spreading across her spots. She
shook her head as some freezing water dripped into her eye. "I'm sorry mom."
"Sorry for what?" Zima's mother had fire behind her eyes as she stood before her bedraggled
daughter in their mountain home, tail swishing angrily against the dirt floor. "Sorry for directly
disobeying me? Sorry for endangering yourself and your friends? Sorry for lying about it?"
"I'm sorry," Zima repeated. She hated seeing her mom like this, and especially hated being the
reason why. "It was stupid of me, I know. I just.."
"You seek out danger, you live for the thrill, blah blah blah, I know. But sweetie, you have to
consider the consequences for your actions!"
"I do!" Zima howled loud enough to startle some cliff swallows out of their nests. "But you never
let me do anything! You never trust me or let me make decisions for myself! I'm eighteen, now.
I don't need to be babied anymore!" Not bothering to stay and see the startled look on her
mother's face, Zima whirled out of their home and raced up the mountainside. Her paws, strong
from long days exploring the pines and cliffs with her friends, carried her up farther and farther,
until the only thing the young Bean could hear was their constant beating on the dusty path. She
ran and ran, each step carrying her farther from her arguments with her mom and closer to calm
and sanctity. Nothing was better for her anger than the feeling of the mountains beneath her and
    the wind blowing her fur.
As Zima reached her favorite spot, a solitary peak high above the others, she lay down and rested
her head on her paws. The night sky swirled around, dark blue and clouds pregnant with rain drifting in the distance.
Reflecting on what she had done that day, even though at first the dare-devil stunt had seemed
impressivly brave, she knew it was stupid and reckless. Her mother was right. Endangering her
friends wasn't worth the rush of doing something to tempt fate.

    younger
A young Zima yowled loudly as her favorite playmate landed heavily on top of her, knocking the
air out of her lungs. "That's not fair!" the little Bean growled, "You're bigger than I am, you have
the advantage!" She flicked her tail angrily and waited for the better wrestler to clamber off of
    her spotted back.

The winter day was cold and clear, without a snow clowd in the sky, and the two rambunctious
Beans were engaged in an energetic tussling match. The victor had to do the other's chores for
    a week.

"Fine." The other, a boy one year her senior, awkwardly dragged himself off of her. "What'd be
fair, then?" He sat on the leafy forest floor and scratched one tufted ear with a hind foot. Zima
    shrugged.
"I dunno... Ooh!" an idea struck her. "Wha'bout we go down to the beach and see if there's
    anything there?"
"Okay!" Enthusiastically the other bean nodded his head, then they scrambled down the rocky
slope to the beach. It wound back and forth, zig-zagging across the chalky cliffs of their
mountain home. To a observer, the shambling trail might have appeared dangerous, but their
paws landed sure-footedly on the rocks and scraggly weeds, stepping in the paw-prints they'd
made a million times before. Zima smiled at her friend. There was nothing better than the
wind in their fur, the sun above them, and a day full of adventure waiting ahead.

Dark pebbles sprayed as the two friends skidded down the last few steps to the rocky beach. A
light snow was beginning to fall, and Zima shivered involuntarily. "C'mon, let's hurry up I'm cold."
The other Bean was silent. "Hey? Why're you so quiet?" She turned around to check on her
playmate. He stood, slackjawed, a few feet behind her, eyes bugging out of his head. "What?"
She asked, incredulous. "What's wrong?" The little Bean only pointed. Zima turned, but couldn't
see anything out of the ordinary. There was the lake, the great conifers around it, some winter
birds soaring high overhead, and- wait! Why was there snow sitting on the lake? It would have
melted and been turned into slush. Zima squinted, trying to see why the water had a fine coat
of freshly fallen snow. "Oh!" she gasped, "It's frozen!" Her companion nodded. "It never freezes!
    Let's go see!"

Running awkwardly over the pebbles of the shore, they raced to the edge of the lake. The sheet
of ice gleamed brightly, and there were even little silvery fish moving about beneath the surface.
"I know-" said the other Bean, a mischevious glint in his eye. "If you go on the ice, past that stick
there-" he gestured with his tail "-then you win. But if you're afraid, then I win!"
"Well..." Zima hesitated. What if the ice broke and she fell through? A dragon could get
hypothermia that way. Or what if she slid all the way to the other side and got lost in the forest
beyond? But, if she didn't go, her friend would think she was a coward. That was definitely worse.
Though her tail was shaking a little, the young dragon held up her head. "I'm not afraid! I'll do it."
Slowly she lifted one silver paw onto the ice, and, when it held, inched farther onto its slippery
surface. The snow was falling more heavily now, and Zima shivered. Then, lightly at first, but
gaining confidence she slipped and slid into the middle of the frozen lake. Everywhere she turned,
the ice shown back brightly, and the fish bobbed and raced beneath surface, colorful blurs
underneath the wall of ice. "This is fun!" she called back to the shore, and twirled around, her
paws sliding less than gracefully. Her friend waved at her, signalling to come back. Zima
regretfully made her way back to the shore, talking all the while about the good time she'd had.
When the small Bean reached her friend, he held out his paw to help her off the ice.
"You were right," he smiled, "That was braver than anything I could have ever done!"

      sixteen
Zima bounded across the sparse grass in front of her home, a hoard of her friends
following behind. The entire village consisted of no more than 50 Beans, but today was market day,
and a whole mess of traders, herders, blacksmiths, and food vendors were going to be tromping
through her small hometown on their way to the large city across the mountains. They brought
with them stories of impossible adventure, brave merchants defending their wares, exotic scents
and sights from far off lands, and most of all, news of the outside world. While Zima loved her
home, and swore to her mother she would never run off, sometimes she wished that there was
more to life than the mountains and the trees. Only ever seeing fifty faces was boring. The mountains
never changed. The seasons just repeated themselves. The merchants had been everywhere and seen
everything. They were the change she longed for. So, on that bright summer morning, when the snow
was just barely melting off the needles of the pines, Zima whirled around and charged into her home.
The first of the wagons was beginning to arrive, jostling through the main street and teeming with
breads, wines, jewelry, and exotic ornaments. “Mom!” She called, peering into the dimness of their
small kitchen. Her mother’s head peered around the corner of the stove. She was stirring a pot of
stew, and adding in bulbs the villagers had planted in their community garden last fall. “Yes dear?
Everything alright?” “ Mom,” Zima flicked her tail nervously. She didn’t know what she would do if
her next request was declined. “I want to go with the caravan merchants to the big city. Just for a
day, and then I’ll come back home. I won’t buy anything!” Zima announced her desire in a rush, so
hopefully her mom wouldn’t have too much time to think. “Sweety,” her mother began, but the young
dragon cut her off. “I know it might not be the safest thing ever, but I really want to go. I’m 16
now! You know that I can take care of myself. Plus, I’ll bring some of our stuff to sell. Please! This
is really important to me!” Her mother glanced around, as if looking for someone to help provide
a logical argument. “Fine. But only because I’m sorry we don’t have a man around the house to work
and make us more money, so that you could travel wherever you wished. And Zima, you leave tomorrow.
The merchants will stay in town until then. No sense running off in the middle of the night.” She sighed
and turned back to her cooking. Giving a cry of joy and a jubilant “Thankyoumom!” Zima ran out of the
room and into the summer sunlight.

The next day was cooler and more crisp, promising one last snowfall before summer truly arrived.
Zima’s bags were packed, loaded with animal furs, goat’s milk, pine needle necklaces, and
anything else the market-goers could possibly take an interest in. She was going to ride in a
wagon with a kindly old merchant who sold deer hide shoes for the wealthy Beans in the city. It was
smelly, but she was certainly not going to complain. The journey wouldn’t take very long, he
promised, providing the weather stayed clear. As the old carthorse coughed and began a plodding
trot away from her village, Zima set her eyes on the road a head. The mountain pass loomed
in the distance, and, if she squinted, she imagined the bright lights of the city visible through it.

Even though her muscles ached from jostling around on the wood, and a light snow had begun to
fall and stubbornly refused to let up, Zima was still in high spirits. A real adventure awaited her,
she was sure. The wagon in front of theirs pulled to a halt, and the driver yelled something
indistinguishable to another merchant farther down the line. The old Bean who had allowed her
a ride on his wagon spoke gruffly in Russian. “We’re here. They just have to slow for all of us to
pass through the city gates, then we ride to the marketplace and begin setting up.” She replied her
thanks, and they spent the rest of the journey in silence, watching the snow get heavier as the afternoon
faded to night. Garbled mixes of Russian and English wafted from the small houses near the city
limits, and the putrid smell of exhaust and gasoline filled her nose. The city was claustrophobic at
night, street lights flashing between tall buildings, smoke filling the night sky and eclipsing the stars.
Everywhere she looked, there were Jellybean Dragons. Eating in all-night cafes, crossing the busy
streets, walking down the sidewalk with their tails linked together and flashy jewelry dangling from
their ears. Nothing was still, in all the chaos. How did they ever get anything done? Zima’s eyes
widened as a speeding car narrowly missed hitting the wagon in front of them. “Ah,” said her old
companion. “You see now why we don’t live in the city. I was not built for this life, nor was my
father before me. I am a creature of the land. Mother nature has given me life, and it is to her
I pay my debt. Tell me, child, do you see the mountains in this forest of metal and concrete? Where
are the stars in the night sky?” And it was true. The twinkling lights of the stars were replaced by the
traffic lights, the majestic pines traded for tall, slanting buildings of glass and steel. “I don’t like it.”
She said, almost to herself. The experience was nowhere near what she had hoped for. Instead of
excitement and intrigue, she had found too much of everything. Too many Beans, too many things,
life was too complex here. “I never appreciated the mountains,” she mused, gazing at a couple walking
side by side but both talking into small telephones. “They never change. They give us everything,
but here, everyone must fight for their space and their place to exist in the world. I don’t think I will
ever come here again. There's no room to breathe.”

Abhidi was young and lonely by the time the big man had settled down in a small cabin. The man kept Abhidi locked up inside the small cabin at all times with no other company then a few mice here and there. It wasn't unpredictable that Abhidi would do what he did. One day when the man was in town, and would be gone the whole day. Abhidi stalked the walls of the cabin searching for anyway out. "The mice told me there were many wholes, if only I looked." He mumbled to himself as he went. A cool breeze pushed into the cabin and hit Abhidi. The chill was like an old friend and made Abhidi think back when he lived in Nepal but it did not carry the sent of Nepal. Not even the sent of the cabin. Abhidi's ears perked up in excitement, the small was a fresh sent of pine and water. He looked up, above him sat a long window a jarred. Abhidi smiled and bunched his powerful legs underneath him and gave a giant leap. Like a frog he shot up into the air and landed with grace of a bird. He poked his snot out the window and sniffed. It seemed safe didn't it? Like a cat he slipped out the window to meet the new world. It was a place he had not seen, and with great curiosity Abhidi jumped down from the window sill landed softly, placing is feet into the icy cold snow. Abhidi took in the trees and a rocky path in front of him. With a few bounds he found himself entering the forest. It wasn't long till he found himself hiking up the steep mountain, as he went he felt a pair of eyes watching him. Abhidi paused and sniffed the air. There was a sent he had never smelled before in the air. Abhidi focused on the sent and perked his ears to listen to any signs of movement. Within seconds his fur stood on ends as a deep growl came from the darkness behind him. Abhidi spun around to find what seemed like a giant in front of him. It's dark gray lips where pulled back into a snarl showing off yellow stained teeth. Golden eyes stared down at him and it sent fear down his spine. The look in the monster's eyes look like it was about to kill him. Abhidi did the most unlike JBD thing and pinned his ears, lifted his lips, and tensed himself up preparing for a fight. Right away he knew that he was no match for this monster weather it was running or fighting. So he did what he had to. "What are you?" The monster growled. Abhidi didn't reply right away, he took in the thick furred gray animal. "I'm a Jelly Bean Dragon. What are you?" He replied hesitantly. "I'm a dog. Don't you know what a dog is?" The monster replied with a surprised tone. Abhidi shook his head and squinted his blue eyes taking in the "dog". "I'm Abhidi!" He introduced himself when he finally came to the conclusion fighting was not about to happen. The dog looked just as confused as Abhidi felt. "I'm called Bjorn." He snorted and laid his ears back. As the two sat there and talked they would not of known that they would become the closest of friends and gone on all sorts of dangerous quests and ending with one that would change Abhidi's life forever.

Image
Abhidi's family lived with a small human family in Nepal's mountains, when he was born. He lived in Napal for the first 5 years of his life. But when coming into his sixth year of life Abhidi's human family fled Nepal. Abhidi had no clue why. While the humans where fleeing Abhidi's mother and father got left behind in Nepal. The human's young child had hidden the at the time small Abhidi in a bag.The human fled to China. Abhidi's human family lived poorly in China for only a few years. They had little money and became desperate to the point were they sold Abhidi to a tourist man. The tourist was a very big traveler who went almost all over the globe. Eventually the tourist took Abhidi back to his home country, Norway. The man lived alone in the mountains of Norway were he lived mostly off the land. The man had grown old and stopped traveling two years after buying Abhidi. Abhidi later became friends with a dog named Bjorn who became his protector for many years.

McFlurry is a kind-hearted bean and is usually nice to most beans. He can be funny
and make you laugh when needed, he loves the cold and loves playing in snow storms and running through the snow,
feeling the ice cold soft snow on his feet is the best feeling in the world to him. McFlurry wants nothing more than to see his friends smile and is upset when something is hurting them. Though he is very kind he can be quite viscous if someone gets on
his bad side he isn't so fun to be around. He is quiet and doesn't talk much and tends to shy away from everyone.

.:|Kashmir|:.

Basics

Name:
Kashmir

Why the name?:
Because Kashmir is a place that snow leopards inhabit ^^. And I think that it suits him!

Age:
20 years old
"But I will be 21 on the 15th."

Birthday:
June 15th
"Yes, I am getting a new home for my birthday!"

-------------------------------------------------

External

Gender:
Male

Build:
Slim but muscled. He has a build that gives him great balance and agility as well as strength.

Size:
Snow leopard sized

--------------------------------------------------

Internal

Personality:

Positive

Dreamer/Thoughtful
Kashmir is sometimes very quiet. But it is nothing serious. It normally means that he is daydreaming, having a train-of-thought, or he is deep in thought. This jbd is a very hard thinker.

Confident/Assertive
It is not often that he has an opinion with no backup or reason. His opinions are always thought out well. But he is not going to go bezerk if you don't agree with him. He actually enjoys hearing the opinion of others and why they think the way they do.

Aesthetic
Kashmir's appearance is very important to him. It doesn't make him nervous whenever he doesn't look good, because he almost always does. He likes to put a lot of time into his appearance. He knows when he looks good but doesn't care to be flashy or dramatic about it. And if he doesnt look good, he will not complain about it. And he is not going to kill you if ruffle a tuft of fur.

Negative

Territorial
Even though he is normally understanding and kind-natured, he does not like it whenever his things are touched or held. It stresses him out and angers him. It makes it worse that he does not have an explanation to why he does it.

Rough
Whenever Kashmir is in the mood to wrestle or play, he can be kind of rough. He often forgets his own strength. He has never really hurt anyone but he tends to go too far.

Likes:
-60 Degree weather
-Warm or cold food
-Having intelligent conv rsations
-Sometimes playing
-Looking nice
-Meeting people
-Hide-and-go-seek

Dislikes:
-Really hot food
-Being crowded
-Heat over 70 degrees
-His things being touched
-Obnoxiousness
-Ignorance
-Arguing

--------------------------------------------------

Favorites

Food:
Ladurée Vanilla Eclairs
"Mmm..."

Color:
Baby blue
"Well, mostly because it is a beautiful color. And most blue accessories look pretty good on me.

Season:
Autumn
"It's not too hot and it's not too cold. It's the signal that my second favorite season will be starting soon. And plus, the colors are beautiful."

Activity:
Hide-and-Go-Seek
I really didn't see this guy as solitary or antisocial like a snow leopard is. So I decided to have him love hide-and-go-seek!

--------------------------------------------------

Relations

Parents:
Uncertain

Siblings:
One other sibling.

Mate/Crush:
None yet. And not really looking.

Friends:
Daniel
