and beautiful time for France, and I feel as if she represented the air
of happiness and love greatly. When I saw her she gave me peace and the
hint of someone foreign. I could not imagine her being American;

Name: Colonial Tropical (nickname is Barcelo) would be my first JBD!

Name Meaning: Ever been to the Barcelo Maya in Mexico? Well, they have three resorts inside one. They are the Colonial, Tropical, and the Palace. I thought, when I first saw this bean, "BARCELO BEAN O_O ASDF I MUST HAVE!" and I was thinking, well, he doesn't look like a palace, he looks more like Tropical. But no, a little bit of Colonial's coloration... So, Colonial Tropical came up. His nickname is Barcelo. :3 I've been to the resort three times, and stayed in each of the resorts once. The Colonial has the colors of tan, yellow, and orange, the Tropical is red, green, yellow, and orange, and the Palace is tan, gold, and brown. Obviously, you can see why I didn't put 'Palace' in his name. Combining the two other resorts, I find the color scheme is near perfect!
"I think they kind of get it, Pikachu! By the way, did you know I hang in the resorts almost every single day of my life? I KNOW what I'm named after, Pika. *turns head* Uh, were you all listening to that? Heheh! *cough* Ooops."

Gender: I feel that male fits him very well. Also, Barcelo Maya Resort, while having feminine touches, looks kind of masculine from the outside. So does this bean!

The colors
Although Kauai's coat is made of oranges and yellows, she loves the crisp coolness of Winter. The soft blues and sharp whites contrast with her coat making it easy for her to stand out and be noticed. Yes, it is harder to play some games like Hide N' Seek or Tag, in the winter when you're a bright orange and yellow blob on a white background, but Kauai still enjoys playing as the "Hunter" and she has the other three seasons for those kinds of games.
The holidays
Kauai loves all of the holidays that come with winter, but Christmas is her favorite. On Christmas, she can be with those she loves and cares about. The presents are just "Icing on the cake". Also when the holidays are near, everyone is happy and friendly. Kauai is very socail, and loves being around others. When everyone else is happy it's easier for her to make new friends.
Overall
Kauai loves running through the snow, playing with her friends; rolling in fresh powder and making tracks; having snowbal fights and coming in after a cold day of fun to lay beside a warm fireplace drinking a mug of Hot Cocoa. Really, Kauai just loves being alive! Winter is just one of her favorite ways to celebrate life.

Alphonso has this name because of where he comes from. Despite JBDs being a peaceful species, Alphonso's home and family are very eccentric on the idea of knighthood. Knights are noble, chivalrous, and respected. The knights of his home are those to help others with their needs, like a Cop if you may, minus the crime fighting. They go out of their way to heroically help anybody in desperate need of assistance. The young JBD was named Alphonso because Orange is a bright and beautiful colour; the sun shines on ones day as though it were smiling, helping out others with being bright and happy. Alphonso, like the sun, is helpful and smiles all of the time, and has been called back at home; "Sun Knight Alphonso".

All I want is for this girl to go to a good home, and I think I could give the perfect home for Lumi.
