What is a Kiamara?
A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Story: The wind was blowing hard, the cold nipping at my face and body, but I was determined to finish this once and for all. I was on an expedition in Antarctica, playing my role as a sled dog, a role I was good at. I had to keep my eyes half closed as the wind whipped through my fur, and the snow was pelting me. Vision was limited in the foggy cold weather. Luster nudged me, setting the rope formation slightly out of order and whispered, "This is boring. We should ditch." I laughed lowly, shaking my head at the same old Luster, just as bold. He shrugged and turned back, facing in the direction he should've been in the first place. I padded alongside him, squinting at the cold snow rushing at my face. Cirrus, Sanguis, and Alekile stayed quiet most of the way, leaving only Luster to truly keep me company. Now if he could just keep me sane. The blank, untouched snow in the vast area we were trek across was unnerving in a way, and was so full of literally nothing it could drive a man insane. We were all hooked to a sled and hooked to eachother, which could go either ways, too. I knew that Cirrus definitely wasn't worked up, as not only was she not talking, she looked immensely bored and walked in weird ways to keep herself amused. Alek and Sanguis, who were walking alongside eachother tied together loosely, were completely ignoring eachother besides Alek making a joke out of pushing him away every time he got close and although Sanguis' eyes were flaming with a clear hatred, he said nothing and kept to himself. Eventually Alek stopped, and we kept walking until our sled was brought to a halt. We were not even close to where we needed to be, but nighttime would come fast, as the sky had already started darkening. We were all unhitched from our ropes and lay down, taking a rest until daytime. I fell asleep in silence, and woke up in it too. No one was around me. Luster, Cirrus, Alek and Sanguis were no where in sight, and neither was the sled. In the blank, barely touched snow, I was completely alone. Lost and alone, so many lights, but no home. I howled out loud in hopes that they were near by, more near than I had thought, but sadly that wasn't the case. Without them, I would surely die out here. I walked along the snow, taking breaks to howl for my friends, although to no avail. The only answers I got were the sounds of the wind, which only posed more questions. How far have they gone? Were they far away from here, or was I close? I'd never know unless I kept moving. I walked for hours, calling out, despite my feet growing tired and sore. (WIP)

DiAngelo was originally Augustus, born and raised for authority, yet it did not suit him. He was far too adventurous and free spirited for authority. As such, he had no choice but to flee from his past life. Augustus took the name DiAngelo as a random alias for this journey. His adventure began as he headed to the frozen north. However, he was stopped in a storm by his own intolerance to the cold. He lay there, is the snow for almost three days before he was saved. A small cave had appeared in the frozen lands, and was inhabited by a mysterious figure. DiAngelo never knew their name, nor did the stranger know his, but this stranger cared for DiAngelo until he was well enough to continue his travels. When this time came, the stranger, along with their cave, vanished in the night. DiAngelo was alone in the middle of a storm, but this time he was ready. He travelled north until he was found and forced to return.

Story:

i was freezing and tired out, i wasn't sure quite how much longer i would last out, my new friends were the only ones keeping me going on and on, but even they where starting to tire and they had done this thier entire life! we finally came to a checkpoint, both teams had agreed to rest here. i fell to the ground exhausted along with my friends we slowly crawled, well more or less wiggled into the igloo.

i expect you are wondering where i am aren't you? or have you guessed? well i, the great skye, am leading a husky sled team in a huge race, and the reason i'm on the team well it's a long story, but i am trying to make it as short as i can for you! this is basically how it happened ...

" i'm so sorry dad we where playing and sapphire ran under a bush and got stuck, sapphire being so small she wasn't strong enough to get past the thick branches and couldn't find the way she came in and then blitzen just bounded in after sapphy to get her out, but saph had shaken the bush so much some thorns and twigs had fallen to the ground and blitzen stood on one!" wept a small blonde haired girl, she was about the height of the bush i was hiding behind. " i know dad! we can teach sapphire to be in the sled team!" the girl dried her eyes and looked expectantly at the man i presumed was her father.
" urghh sapphire will have to do, though how he will cope i don't know ..." the man with the black hair stormed off and the girl ran to fetch that little dog. i figured now would be a good time for a nap, i crawled to my bush and curled up in the middle.

i jumped, something was near me i tiptoed from my bush to get a closer look,
"who is it?" i called the thing shouted back at me from the darkness.
" what do you want? i want you to fill my place, let me train you, come join the sled team!"
" what's in it for me?"
" a home, a little girl that loves you and as i'm guessing your main priority: food, water, and shelter."
that sounded good to me, how hard was it to be a sled dog anyway? i had seen people practise that lots of dogs all ran and draggged a sled with people on it behind them, they raced and i always loved racing! "fine, i will help but keep up your end of the bargain and i have to be able to back out if i want!"

that was how it began, me and a stranger striking a deal under a bush. for the days that followed i trained with blitzen, and then at the end of the week we went up to the black haired man.
"hello dogs, i know you don't know me, but i am here to help you win the race and take blitzens place please wiggle into your harnesses and hope the man sets it all up properly i will take blitzens place and we have to show him we can work together!" i wasn't sure how that announcement would go down, seeing as i was an outsider a total stranger asking to just be accepted immeadiately no questions asked. the dogs were very co-operative poor blitzen got a few odd looks by his confused friends, but they wiggled into harness.
" look daddy! the dogs want to practise! can we?"
"sure i guess so ... wait who is that one? that's not one of ours is it?" the man looked at me questioningly, i gave a convincing bark and wiggled into the harness. " oh well it wants to join us and sapphire is useless we might as well try nothing can be worse that that tiny little thing!"

we ran and ran, suddenly a husky next to me started barking,
"hello, i am the leader of our pack, my name is Flash. welcome to our team! you are doing great work, much better than saphire did... let me introduce you to the others! me and blitzen are lead dogs we go at the front, that's what you are doing currently, then Snow Dance and flare are the two point dogs (the two girls behind us) then we have Missy and Flake the two team dogs (the two girls behind Snow and flare) and finally Blue and Jet, the two wheel dogs, they are right at the back, we all have special postions and mine and your roles are to lead the others to victory!"

race day came, after all our training we won no problem the course was easy, and the other dogs where strong! i loved feeling the air rush past me as we ran through the snow ... i was sad when it ended, i didn't want to go back to my life under the bush, no friends and all alone, i wanted to go back home with the blonde girl, to race with my friends and feel the wind rustle my fur once again!
