He now strong colt was once a child
He grew to love there new land
The safety of it was always grand
Midnight Breeze and Silver Star
Led the herd from lands afar
From the dangers of the red hot fire
Now in the safety of there home
They graze the land far the roam
Happiness is what they have

Short story:

Sunny trotted across the plains, a nervous looking Gecko following close behind - so close he was almost nipping her tail. Sunny had been to this part of the plains many times before but this was the first time she'd brought her newest arrival along, and he was nervous.

They approached the pool, both quiet and listening out for any signs of danger, and Sunny lowered her head to drink encouraging Gecko to do the same but before he could a gun sounded and they were running.

Back through the bushes Sunny was leading by strides, Gecko struggling to keep up. The hunters were close behind, Sunny could here them but with the thicker trees in sight they had to keep going. A set of dark brown legs came galloping up beside them, hunter yelling from a top the horse's saddle, but they weren't close enough for the rope to be thrown.

About The Art:
So, this was done with a tablet and pen w. pressure on the program of GIMP, and took about 1 hour and 20 monutes. I know, a fairly long time for just a headshot, but I wanted to make it really clean and smooth looking. The first time I did the head I made the nose way to short, which has always been a problem with me. This time, I lengthened the whole face, and I really like the outcome!

Why Do I Want Her?
Ok, so I have 2 QH mares and 4 QH stallions. This just does not seem right! Lol. I love doing the whole "mate" thing with my horses, and two of my stallions need a sweet and beautiful QH mare!!
She will have a great home at my big stable!!
