This JBD looks similar to the Green Python. Some pythons keep their eggs warm by getting sun into their own bodies. The python will pay its eggs in the deep forest, like in a tree or under a rock face/cave. The mother will wrap herself around her eggs for a good 12 hours. Once she has begun to cool down, she goes out to sun until her body reaches around 100 degrees, almost killing her, before going back to warm her eggs for another 12 hours. She must keep the eggs around the same temperature if they are going to hatch/hatch properly. She does this every day until the eggs hatch. I find that it would be hard to be a mother python, for she risks her life every day by heating her body so high, just to make sure her eggs hatch.
