Flourescent is male, and proud of it. His strong build reveals that to
most people, but his glowy appearance often marks him as feminine.
Best not to make that mistake.
ｊｅｗｅｌ ｃｏｌｏｒ;;
Flourescent's jewel color, obviously, is yellow. This gives him the
ability to produce and control light. He uses this power often and
would never give it up for another.

ｎａｔｉｏｎａｌｉｔｙ;;
He's from the little-known country of Myanmar, which most people
know as Burma. This country is know for it's human rights
violations and a culture consisting of child labor. Luckily, he and
his family moved before Flourescent experienced any of this.
ｓｅｘｕａｌｉｔｙ;;
Flourescent is, of course, straight. This means he will date only
those of the opposite gender--females.

ＷＨＯ ＡＭ Ｉ？;;
I'm going to do something different to describe his personality: I will show a picture, and then tell why the picture describes him. Cool, right?

This picture represents him because the scene shown is very peaceful. Whenever someone thinks of peace,
one of the things that may come to mind is Buddhism. Buddhism (commonly regarded as a religion, but it is
Athiestic and only a line of thought) is basically the idea that you should reach ninarva (a kind of inner peace).
Flourescent is, in fact, Buddhist.

Now what is this? Could it truly be... a fedora? What does that even mean? Well, to me, a fedora
sort of represents adventure, or the willingness to investigate something. I mean, all the decectives
and Perry the Platypus and all those awesome peeps wear fedoras. Sure, Flourescent is Buddhist,
but that doesn't mean he has no life. He's just a sort of peace guru--he wouldn't harm anyone and
doesn't approve of fighting of any kind. But sometimes he does a little exploring, does things like
snoooping around in the woods to see what's there, or even going to the occasional place that he
probably shouldn't be, like bars or crime scenes.
To some people, he wouldn't be all that daring, but considering his background, religion, and his
normal attitude, this trait is... well, different.

This picture represents Flourescent simply because he is an animal lover. This
isn't an uncommon trait in the JMD world, I know, but Flourescent is a bit of an
over-acheiver in this catergory. His family often complains that he takes better
care of the stray neighborhood dogs than he does himself.
It probably wouldn't be that way if his parents would buy him a pet, but they
beleive that animals should roam free in the wild, since that's where they
were in the first place. Since his parents wouldn't get him any animals,
Flourescent went out of his way to attract animals to him. He started by feeding
stray dogs, then helping his neighbors with cattle, and it just kept going further
and further until half the animals within a ten mile radius were in better shape
than he was!

I chose this picture because... well, it's a brick wall. It's hard to break or destroy, and
God knows you can't talk to it. In fact, there's even an expression: "It's like talking to a
brick wall." That's exactly what it's like with him. He's very firm and when he makes a
decision, it's usually final.
However, if you look closely, the wall appears to have some weak spots, and almost looks
like it's crumbling. In the same way, persausion isn't easy, but it can be done and has
before.

ｓｕｇａｒｍｉｎｔ （ｉｎｔｅｒｖｉｅｗｅｒ）;; First question: if you were stranded on a desert island, what two
things would you wish for if you knew you could get them?

ｆｌｏｕｒｅｓｃｅｎｔ;; Well, first I would request fresh water (I assume it's in the ocean), and then some... um, maybe
a guard dog to keep me safe from predators.

ｓｕｇａｒｍｉｎｔ （ｉｎｔｅｒｖｉｅｗｅｒ）;; A dog? What about food or shelter and all that good stuff? *Exasperated sigh*
Okay, so what is your wish, your hope, your goal in life?

ｆｌｏｕｒｅｓｃｅｎｔ;; I, aah... I want to have a... family? No, wait! I'll open up a no-kill animal shelter!

ｓｕｇａｒｍｉｎｔ （ｉｎｔｅｒｖｉｅｗｅｒ）;; Oooookaaay. So what is the most frightening thing that has ever happened
to you? Gosh, all of these are so corny.

ｆｌｏｕｒｅｓｃｅｎｔ;; Well, before my family snuck out of Burma, there was a lot of fighting. When we were leaving
the country, a land mine went off just a short walk away, and I screamed. The soldiers could have caught us. *Shiver*
I was only three, but...

ｓｕｇａｒｍｉｎｔ （ｉｎｔｅｒｖｉｅｗｅｒ）;; Really? I guess that isn't as stupid as I assumed. So if you were to change one
thing about today's culture, what would it be?

ｆｌｏｕｒｅｓｃｅｎｔ;; People wouldn't be so ready to argue all the time. Look what all this fighting leads to!
