Welcome to Vindex Adopts V3.0!

What is a Vindex?

A Vindex is a well-sized canine with a slender frame and nimble legs. Their bodies are well-muscled and are generally weighing around 110 pounds, yet none of the weight is produced by the fat content they hold. They generally have delicate coats that are soft to the touch, but on some rare cases the coats are straggly and almost have a wiry feel with is primarily do to malnutrition or the lack of proper care. They also have long, bushy tail that hold a single orb around the tip; you will never find one without the orb since the orb is used to monitor the human they have been linked with. The glow that is released from their left eye is used for in cases of emergency which allows the Vindex to see through the perspective of their human, allowing them to generate the general idea of how we live. Also, the small antenna-like structures that are located behind the shoulder and at the base of the tail are used during mating season; the male with the brightest glow would often attract more females then, say, the male with the duller glow. Personality wise, they are generally cunning and normally have their curiosity get the best of them. Males love attention that their owners give them while females can be quiet moody, but they still enjoy the company of their humans. A Vindex is also generally an anti-social creature unless mating season has come around or they have known the other Vindex for months, maybe even a few weeks, until they feel that they haved gained the Vindex's trust.

Subspecies

An Arctic Vindex is found near the Arctic Ocean where they hunt for different varieties of mammals and fish. Their coats are normally white and soft colors yet their markings always contain some type of glow in case of a freak storm. The Arctic Vindex is considered to be a rare subspecies.

An Amazon Vindex, obviously found in the Amazon, is normally found swimming through the Amazon River after fish and other small animals they can get their mouths on. Their coats are a tad duller then their similiar subspecies, the Rainforest Vindex, yet they have brighter markings so they can make out others of their kind in the dense forestry. The Amazon Vindex is considered to be an uncommon subspecies.

An African Vindex is found, obviously, in Africa and is often seen stalking gazzelle in the dry grass as a daily diet. There coats have rich basic colors, such as browns and tans, to blend into the tall grasses even though they have bright tribal markings that often has some sort of glow to them. The African Vindex is considered to be a rare subspecies.

A Rainforest Vindex is found in the rainforests around the globe, often being either the hunter or the hunted in the rough jungles. There coats are vibrant and are similar to that of the local residents with darker markings that run in consecutive patterns along their body. The Rainforest Vindex is considered to be a very rare subspecies.

A Domestic Vindex can be found anywhere in the world since they are generally breed into captivity. Their colorations are unbelievably diverse since they are normally considered to be the mutts of the Vindex breeds. The Domestic Vindex is considered to be a common subspecies.

- Do not gift a vindex (without permission),sell a vindex (without permission), steal a vindex, or copy a design of a vindex
- Do not steal the species, lines, or anything from Vindex Adopts
- Do not complain if you didn't win a vindex, artist, mod, etc.
- NO inappropriate language (OMG, cussing, swearing, bad jokes, etc.)
- If you break any of these rules, you will get one warning and will stay on the warning list for a month (or longer depending on what you did). If you break the rules again while your on the warning list, you will be banned.
- If you have been on the warning list before, you will get one month added to the next time you get on the warning list.

I have a pretty good moderating history. I've never been 'fired' or 'dissmissed' from a job, unless I retired to become an artist, or because I felt I had done my job and didn't feel like they needed my help before.
I currently mod SW's, SNN's, and my own species, TDD's and Maroon's.
Some older species I retired from were CF's, RF's, and a few others.
How active are you?:
Pretty active, though it depends on the day and what's currently going on. I'm on every day (Unless I'm sick, or I have tests all day, like placement tests) and I can spend from one hour to twelve hours on the computer.
