I would name this bean Eddie. He is named after one of the possums from ice age. When I think of the name "Eddie" I think laid back, funny, outgoing and kind. This bean is definitely those four things. This is the art I made for him. I spent multiple hours on it and tried my best. I am not the best artist but I wanted to put in a lot of effort to show I will care for him. It is a picture of him laying on a log in on a river, watching the stars. It was inspired by a place I go when I go kayaking. There is an old tree that hangs out into the river. I stop and camp near it. At night I lay on the tree and watch the stars.

he is my next dream bean, and i'm hoping, again, that he will be my first bean, and he is perfect, hence the name.
it also means poet, and I think it would suit him. to me, in a way I cant describe, it suits him...

Gender:
Male, like you, he strikes me as a male, I don't really see the female in him like the others, plus, I like the idea of hhim being a brother <3 that and if he is my first bean I could have a fellow bean owner show me around a bit more than I know X3

Devin, (his name if I win him) enjoys simming at night, in anything from a small creek, to the biggest Oceans. in this, he is relaxing in a small creek enjoying the fireflies that are illuminating the night and reflecting their golden light on the water behind him, is a show of shooting stars (only two showing and without words the stars are white) and the moon glowing bright, that, along with the fireflies, illuminate the night. the firefly he is holding, is not a living firefly, but a necklace that glows like a firefly, and looks like one, he is examining it... :3 (if you look closely you can see the thread around his neck)

Ok, this is my first time drawing moving water (I have drawn still water, and that was easy, blue, with a reflection and light on it X3 but moving water is hard -u- and I tried ding a few new things, slightly different shading, blended line with the color, changed it to lineless by adding a little more shading so yersh :{D (basicly its a bit darker or lighter were the lines were so I guess it still has a little bit of lines...) and basicly tried (but failed) to make my art a little i more realistic
I wanted it to match his personality, a sensitive guy that is also full of life. He is compassionate, and fond of others, though he does enjoy a nice break once and a while (lol he thinks its goofy that Maxine likes to play dead but he does enjoy his older sister)

I worked really hard on this, and enjoyed it sooo much

some of the markings look kindof messed up because of the shading and lighting ;n;

some of it was inspired by the song fireflies (hence part of the song in the art)

Name;
After loads of thinking, I have selected the name Devoned.
{pronounced as; Devon-Dee}
I chose this name because he is cousins with a bean named
Maxine which is a simple yet beautiful name therefor I
thought he should have one as well. I find that the name
Devoned is unique and would fit him perfectly.

Art;

Description of art;
I wanted to do something very creative, something that
would catch all attention, I wanted to do something out
of this word... literally! Having had to include the
elements of water and night time originally I had planned
on creating a piece with him lying on his back in the
ocean with the moon in the background glistening on
the water, but after looking thru all the other entries
that are already finished I saw many that seemed to
have had the same idea... or at least something to do
with the moon shining on the ocean. So instead I decided
to do something no one else would think of. This was the
result. He is in a sort of dream state. I am aware that
these dragons cant fly, but in a dream.. anyone can do
anything.. a dream is an escape from reality into a
length of peaceful bliss. As shown in this picture he
is very relaxed and seems to be gliding thru the sky
without a care. I have included how I interpreted the
use of water and night in this drawing and I do have to
say it was quite fun experimenting with the effects and
lighting as well.
